; At the beginning of the 20th century, when nationalistic movements threatened Switzerland's fragile integrity, democratic values became the instrument to strengthen the pillars that supported the Eidgenossenschaft: from this moment onward freedom, equality or the concept of citizenship would function as a bond to join Swiss people. Literature, as a common element, was then chosen as the vehicle to "helvetize" such values and ideals. These political and ideological tendencies set Swiss women and, most particularly, Swiss (female) writers in a very problematic situation. Being "incomplete" citizens, since they were not entitled to vote until 1971, how could women writers support the ideals of a State which insisted in marginalizing them? In order to be able to fulfill their wish to write, female writers resorted then to several strategies to be able to please the demands of the critics, and yet not be unfaithful to their principles and women.

Back to birth: history and identity in the monasteries of Arlanza, San Millán and Silos (XII-XIII centuries) ; Volver a nacer : historia e identidad en los monasterios de Arlanza, San Millán y Silos (siglos XII-XIII)
[ES] In the second half of the 12th century, in the context of their separation from the Kingdom of Leon, a strong review of the historical past took place in Castile-La Mancha, one of the keys of which was the magnification of the condal stage and, above all, the figure of Fernán González. The monastery of San Pedro de Arlanza seems to have played a particularly active role both in developing the legends on the cone and in using them to give the abadia prestige and place it at the centre of the historical processes on which the new political identity of Castilian was based, including the reformulation of its own origins, by applying for a fictitious foundation by Fernán González, supported by falsification of documents. The success of the Armenian strategy meant that in the 13th century, against the backdrop of the reunification of the queens, other monasteries, such as San Millán de la Cogolla and Santo Domingo de Silos, tried to challenge and capitalise on Arlanza's figure and traditions of 'Buen conde', again by using not only to reinvent their origins and to circulate the relevant speeches, but also to falsify the documents that could support them as evidence. It is a complex process that no single source can illuminate. It can only be reconstructed through a combined study of fragmentaries of information dispersed across a wide range of sources (time, literary, hagiographic, diplomatic, coded). This work aims to explore the possibilities of this research strategy. ; Peer reviewed ; [ES] In the second half of the 12th century, in the context of their separation from the Kingdom of Leon, a strong review of the historical past took place in Castile-La Mancha, one of the keys of which was the magnification of the condal stage and, above all, the figure of Fernán González.

XIII-XIV)
[EN]This paper explores the importance of writing and document making as technologies applicabe to political and jurisdictional disputes. One specific lawsuit (in which the monastery of Santo Domingo disputed with the town of Silos over jurisdictional issues) reveals the important role played by the production and preservation of documents (both in archives and cartularies),as well as technologies of forgery and knowledge of the principles of diplomatic criticism as crucial resources for all actors involved in the dispute.

Conectem Natzaret. Nodo de transporte urbano
In: http://hdl.handle.net/10251/182951
[EN] "Connect to Natzaret" arises after the analysis carried out in the territory of the Nazaret orchard, where we currently find two infrastructures that are currently in disuse or are a barrier for the neighbourhood. Taking into account the projects to bury the train tracks and the operation of line 10 of the tram, we conclude that this junction is an ideal place to make the most of it. Not only the opportunity offered by the two existing infrastructures, but also the nearby facilities, that attract large numbers of tourists throughout the year, means that the programme to develop and complete this urban transport node is a bus station. In addition, public transport, both bus and train, are a means of transport with a great potential of development. Following the agreement established in the "European Union Regulation", member states are obliged to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from diffuse sectors, such as transport, for the period 2020-2030. In the case of Spain, this obliges it to reduce these emissions by 26%. Numerous pilot projects are trying to meet the CO2 reduction needs over the next few years, for example by improving the technology of electric mobility, or by using hydrogen instead of fuel. Therefore, a bus station is proposed which will not only serve as an interchange between users of other means of transport and the bus, but also as a base location where these pilot projects can set up their charging points if necessary. Already put in place, walking along the future tram line 10, we come across two pre-existing industrial structures that are currently abandoned, which will be the first steps to be followed throughout the project. On one hand, there are two silos, and on the other, two industrial roofs. On one side, the silos suggest working them as independent elements, working with their verticality and as an element full of air and circulation. On the other side, the roofs, in contrast, offer us a longitudinality that allows us to work at ground level. The silos, independent elements, form ...

; In this paper we present different aspects of the complex interaction between the Hellenic models found in the colonies at Emporion and Rhode, and the indigenous customs as shown in the Iberian sites surrounding them. As evidences of this interaction we will study the cult of Artemis and Apollo as protector deities of the archaic Phocean emporia, the urbanism in Rhode during the 3rd century BC, the cults at Emporion, the interpretation of the Iberian site at Mas Castellar de Pontós, the blend of Greek and Celtic cults in the indigenous sites at Ullastret and Pontós, and an unique decorated Iberian pottery kalathos found in an underground grain silos field close to the site at S. Julià de Ramis. During the 2nd centrury BC Rome imposed a new political and economic order in which Emporion would become the greatest beneficiary.

The present work analyses the fortifications and closure systems of Neolithic and Chalcolithic settlements on Valle del Guadalquivir area, in the South of the Iberian Peninsula, taking in to account especially closure systems, walls and moats, both in its function and its purpose. The paper assess the territorial organization and the social and economic models to which they gave rise during the processes of sedentarization of these societies, and, the relation with the social conflicts derived from the processes of hierarchization and control of the territory and the labor force during the Neolithic. The study of closure systems, started with their discovery, leading to the definition of the so called "Culture of Silos Fields" in the Guadalquivir Valley, and since it has gone through various interpretations about its origin, its construction and its purpose, reaching up to the hypothesis of defense and, putting them finally in relation with the social conflicts and the processes of social development of these societies. The symbolic charge of these structures plays an important role, especially in the debates that have taken place in recent years, always opposed to their interpretation as military elements.
