Les protestes socials esdevingudes en nombrosos països durant els últims tres anys –des de Tunísia i l'anomenada "Primavera àrab" fins a les recents mobilitzacions a Turquia o Brasil– han fet aflorar un debat sobre la possible dimensió global i transestatal de totes elles. El present article pretén realitzar una aproximació descriptiva i analítica a aquest intens cicle de protestes, reflexionant sobre les diferències i similituds existents entre elles, el paper que Internet i les xarxes socials han tingut en el curs de les diferents mobilitzacions o, entre altres aspectes, el repertori d'accions que han emprat. Més enllà d'aquests trets compartits o no, l'article mira d'emfasitzar la importància d'entendre aquest cicle de mobilitzacions com un procés de repolitització social que combina les contradiccions i conflictes locals de cada context en particular amb l'aparent existència d'una demanda global per major democratització política, regeneració institucional, justícia social i reapropiació d'allò comú. ; The social protests that have take place in many countries over the past three years - from Tunisia and the so-called Arab Spring to the recent protests in Turkey and Brazil - have given rise to a debate about the possible global and transnational dimension they may have. This paper sets out to develop a descriptive and analytical approach to this intense cycle of protests, reflecting on the differences and similarities between all of them, the role that the Internet and social networks have had in the course of the different demonstrations and, among other things, the repertoire of actions that have been used. Beyond these shared traits, the paper seeks to emphasize the importance of understanding this cycle of mobilization as a social re-politicization process that combines local contradictions and conflicts of each particular context with the apparent existence of a global demand for greater political democratization, institutional regeneration, social justice and reappropriation of the common. ; Las protestas sociales acaecidas en numerosos países durante los últimos tres años –desde Túnez y la llamada "Primavera árabe" hasta las recientes movilizaciones en Turquía o Brasil– han hecho aflorar un debate sobre la posible dimensión global y transestatal de todas ellas. El presente artículo pretende realizar una aproximación descriptiva y analítica a este intenso ciclo de protestas, reflexionando sobre las diferencias y similitudes existentes entre todas ellas, el papel que Internet y las redes sociales han tenido en el curso de las diferentes movilizaciones o, entre otros aspectos, el repertorio de acciones que han utilizado. Más allá de estos rasgos compartidos o no, el artículo trata de enfatizar la importancia de entender este ciclo de movilizaciones como un proceso de repolitización social que combina las contradicciones y conflictos locales de cada contexto en particular con la aparente existencia de una demanda global por mayor democratización política, regeneración institucional, justicia social y reapropiación de lo común.

Aquest article aborda l'experiència del moviment social #YoSoy132, a partir de l'exploració del seu sorgiment en el context polític, social i mediàtic mexicà i de l'anàlisi de les seves característiques, demandes i paral·lelismes amb els nous moviments socials globals. A més, l'article problematitza el paper dels nous mitjans digitals –en particular de les xarxes socials– dins del moviment, trencant amb cinc narratives dominants en la literatura. Finalment, es realitza un balanç de l'abast i les limitacions de #YoSoy132. ; This paper looks at the experience of the social movement #YoSoy132, exploring its emergence in the political, social and media context of Mexico today, and analyzing its characteristics, demands, and similarities with the new global social movements. In addition, the paper problematizes the role of the digital media – and in particular of the social media — within the movement, breaking with five narratives that have dominated the literature. In the conclusion, the paper offers an assessment of the achievements and the limitations of #YoSoy132. ; Este artículo aborda la experiencia del movimiento social #YoSoy132, a partir de la exploración de su surgimiento en el contexto político, social y mediático mexicano y del análisis de sus características, demandas y paralelismos con los nuevos movimientos sociales globales. Además, el artículo problematiza el papel de los medios digitales –en particular de las redes sociales– dentro del movimiento, rompiendo con cinco narrativas dominantes en la literatura. Finalmente, se realiza un balance de los alcances y de las limitaciones de #YoSoy132.

The article discusses the origin and development of the ecological movement in Bulgaria in the first period of political transformation, against the background of similar experiences of Balkan countries. In the Balkan reality, the social activity of ecological groups is perceived as an example of the penetration of Western European cultural patterns, but also as an effect of "ecological pressure" resulting from the aspirations of South-Eastern European countries to integrate with European structures. To a small extent, the contemporary ecological sensitivity of the inhabitants of the Balkans refers to earlier experiences, such as those from the first decade of the political transformation. Against this background, the birth of the "indigenous" ecological movement in Bulgaria and its significant participation in the downfall of Todor Zhivkov's regime can be considered an exceptional phenomenon. ; Artykuł omawia powstanie i rozwój ruchu ekologicznego w Bułgarii w pierwszym okresie transformacji ustrojowej, na tle podobnych doświadczeń państw bałkańskich. W bałkańskich realiach społeczna aktywność ugrupowań ekologicznych jest postrzegana jako przykład przenikania zachodnioeuropejskich wzorców kulturowych, ale także jako efekt "presji ekologicznej" wynikającej z dążenia krajów Europy Południowo-Wschodniej do integracji ze strukturami europejskimi. W niewielkim stopniu współczesna wrażliwość ekologiczna mieszkańców Bałkanów odwołuje się do wcześniejszych doświadczeń, choćby tych z pierwszej dekady transformacji ustrojowej. Na tym tle zjawiskiem za zjawisko wyjątkowe można uznać narodziny "autochtonicznego" ruchu ekologicznego w Bułgarii, a także jego znaczący udział w procesie upadku reżimu Todora Żiwkowa.

This paper discusses Helena Radlinska's (1879-1954) international activity. Helena Radlińska was the initiator of social pedagogy in Poland but her activities abroad in 1918-1939 is not yet known. Her works, their scope, aims and directions were interconnected with the largest european centres of education: International Congress of Moral Education in London, International Office of Education in Geneva, International Leuge of New Socialization in Geneva, Association of International Conferences of Adult Education in England and International Conferences of Social Services in Paris. Her engagement for many years in these organizations led to multiple social and institutional achievements together with scientific, methodological and methodical developments. Along this route the main life achievement in Radlinska's life- the development of a discipline of social pedaogogy, connects the development of individuals with insvestment in social and cultural spehere of life. Radlinska's activity makes Warsaw of her times one of the core places of international cooperation in the field of education, socialisation and social work.

La tendència més estesa dins del treball social a Suècia durant els últims trenta anys és l'especialització de funcions, lluny de la noció d'unitat professional i genèrica. Aquesta evolució ha anat guanyant terreny sense l'acció de cap grup de pressió o de defensors específics. La reorganització cap a l'especialització pot ser entesa com una adaptació a pressions normatives externes i com a forma de fomentar la productivitat en temps de retallades pressupostàries. Unes altres tendències, parcialment interrelacionades, han estat el desenvolupament de la pràctica basada en l'evidència, així com un primer intent per implementar el corrent de la Nova Gestió Pública. ; The most far-reaching and exhaustive trend in Swedish social work over the last thirty years is functional specialisation, representing a route away from the notion of professional unity and genericism. This is a development that has gained ground incrementally without any active lobbying or distinct proponents. Reorganising towards specialisation may also be understood as an adaptation to external normative pressures and as a way of fostering productivity in times of tightened budgets. Other, and partly intertwined, trends have been the movement towards evidence-based practice and steps in order to implement elements of New Public Management. ; La tendencia más extendida dentro del trabajo social en Suecia durante los últimos treinta años es la especialización de funciones, lejos de la noción de unidad profesional y genérica. Esta evolución ha ido ganando terreno sin la acción de ningún grupo de presión o de defensores específicos. La reorganización hacia la especialización puede ser entendida como una adaptación a presiones normativas externas y como forma de fomentar la productividad en tiempos de recortes presupuestarios.Otras tendencias parcialmente interrelacionadas han sido el desarrollo de la práctica basada en la evidencia, así como un primer intento para implementar la corriente de la Nueva Gestión Pública.

El present article explora els antecedents històrics de l'actual cicle de mobilitzacions estudiantils a Xile, que trobaríem en les reformes neoliberals de la dictadura militar i en la posterior consolidació del model d'educació mercantilitzada durant els governs democràtics, qüestió que ha generat un profund malestar en aquesta generació d'estudiants massivament endeutats. S'analitza també com el moviment social està polititzat la societat xilena, està incidint en l'agenda pública i està plantejant transformacions profundes com l'Assemblea Constituent. ; This paper explores the historical background of the current cycle of student demonstrations in Chile, which can be traced to the neoliberal reforms of the military dictatorship and the subsequent consolidation of the commercialized model of education under democratic governments, an issue that has caused a deep malaise in this generation of massively indebted students. The paper also looks at how the social movement is politicizing Chilean society, influencing the public agenda and is positing profound transformations such as the Constituent Assembly. ; El presente artículo explora los antecedentes históricos del actual ciclo de movilizaciones estudiantiles en Chile, los cuales estarían en las reformas neoliberales de la dictadura militar y en la posterior consolidación del modelo de educación mercantilizada durante los gobiernos democráticos, cuestión que ha generado un profundo malestar en esta generación de estudiantes masivamente endeudados. Se analiza también cómo el movimiento social está politizando a la sociedad chilena, está incidiendo en la agenda pública y está planteando transformaciones profundas como la Asamblea Constituyente

Without doubt, tension between Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and the Hizmet Movement is of vital importance for both Turkey and international society. This conflict is also important for Turkey's future when considering the concept of democracy. In this context, this tension has been mentioned by both academic and associated political interests worldwide. Therefore the importance of the outcome of this issue is going to be one of the key factors deciding Turkey's political and social future. To clearly understand and make predictions concerning Turkey's future, it is important to understand not only the actors involved and their normative and ideological perspectives; the deeper problematic areas of the Turkish state should also be explored. This paper outlines almost ten years of Turkey's social and political life under these two main opposing actors. This study will try to find a rational answer to the question of "what will be the outcome of this tension surrounding Turkish democracy for the political arena and civil society?" In this respect, the contemporary meaning of civil society, its importance for a healthy democracy and the relation among the state, the government which controls all state apparatus and the civil society organisations is explained. The final part provides further details about the AKP and Hizmet Movement and the subjects of their tension.
