After the Second World War supporters of the official mainstream sought to refute Lenin's theory of imperialism, checking it for "incompatibility with the facts". With the appearance in the 1980s of the concept of globalisation, the Leninist theory was relegated by these critics to the category of ideas that had been scientifically disproven. The analysis presented in this article shows that various theoretical versions of globalisation and of global capitalism are constructed on the basis of contradictory and methodologically doubtful ideas concerning the essential features of globalisation, of the sources from which it arose, and of its historical dynamics and limitations. As the main points in its discussion of the concept of globalisation, the article examines the controversies between empiricism and essentialism concerning the question of the essence of globalisation (culture or economics); the question of the sources of globalisation (technology, politics or productive relations); and the question of the trends in the dynamic of globalisation (toward full integration or growing antagonism). The authors further take up the controversy that pits abstract against concrete historicism on the question of the historical limits of globalisation. At the same time, the article reveals that in its richness and in the depth of its grasp of modern capitalism, Lenin's theory of imperialism up to the present has surpassed many present-day theories. Employing the theoretical heritage of Lenin makes it possible to provide, as the result of analysis, a comprehensive and methodologically precise definition of globalisation.

The article considers the category of «medical tourism» as one of the promising sectors of the socio-economic development of a particular country (whether developed or developing). It is noted that the industry is undergoing a number of significant changes under the influence of factors that have arisen over the past three years now. They are the coronavirus pandemic and the tension of the political situation in the country and in the world. Due to restrictions on entry and the rise in the cost of providing medical services, the industry is shifting demand both for medical services themselves and for the countries that are preferred. Undoubtedly, the medical tourism industry needs predictive analysis. Therefore, this study is aimed at building a predictive model, on the basis of which it is possible to assess the prospects for the development of medical tourism, based on the social perceptions and expectations of young people. In the course of the study, it was revealed that the medical tourism industry is studied within the framework of a number of concepts and methods: the theory of queuing, the theory of «gray» systems, the theory of gravity, the analysis of the data shell, the calculation of the Medical Tourism Index (BMI). At the same time, within the framework of the author's study, it is proposed to study the medical tourism industry using discriminant analysis, which makes it possible to identify from a variety of stereotypes those that most influence the prospects for the development of the industry, at the same time determining which ones belong to those young people who believe that industries have development prospects, and which — to those who believe that the prospects are very doubtful. In general, the analysis showed that Russian youth is more oriented towards the Russian market of medical services, and considers a trip abroad to be the prerogative of wealthy people who want to combine health improvement, treatment and recreation.

Currently, society lives in the conditions of continuous expansion of the communication space. This is manifested in the transformation of old and the emergence of new types of interaction of individuals in the economic, political, social, spiritual spheres of society. The study of social networks is an actively developing area in theoretical sociology, and the concept of social networks is the most natural in the description and construction of a social structure. In a broad sense, a social network is understood as many points (members of a social system), to a greater or lesser extent, related to each other. In this article we will illustrate the main stages of the evolution of the concept of "social network" in the works of foreign researchers. Let's take a closer look at foreign theoretic approaches to the study of social networks as a structural element of social capital. In the conclusion of our analysis, we will list the main characteristic features of a social network, on the basis of which we will formulate a generalized definition of this phenomenon. ; В настоящее время общество живет в условиях постоянного расширения коммуникационного пространства. Это проявляется в трансформации старых и появлении новых типов взаимодействия индивидов в экономической, политической, социальной, духовной сферах жизнедеятельности общества. Исследование социальных сетей является активно развивающимся направлением в теоретической социологии. Это связано с тем, что концепция социальных сетей является наиболее естественной в описании и построении социальной структуры. В широком смысле под социальной сетью понимается множество точек (членов социальной системы) в той или иной степени связанных друг другом. В данной статье мы проиллюстрируем основные этапы эволюция понятии «социальная сеть» в работах зарубежных исследователей. Более подробно остановимся на анализе зарубежных теоретических подходов к изучению социальных сетей как структурному элемента социального капитала. В заключение проведенного нами анализа будут перечислены основные характерные признаки социальной сети, на основе которых мы сформулируем обобщающее определение данного феномена.

Статья посвящена анализу использования в условиях интеграции подходов к социальным знаниям и междисциплинарности в качестве основы исторических исследований социологических теорий Э. Дюркгейма, Р. Мертона, П. Бурдье, которые служат эффективным инструментом и позволяют объективно рассматривать разнообразные объекты действительности. Показано применение учёными теории аномии при анализе политических, экономических и социальных трансформаций для исследования страны в целом и отдельных регионов в период кризисных явлений, революций и войн. Проанализированы пути и формы исследования вопросов повседневной жизни, выявления стиля, действий и мышления людей на основе социологических теорий. Рассмотрены разнообразные подходы к анализу девиантного поведения с точки зрения социологических теорий применительно к повседневным практикам. Показано использование теории П. Бурдье на исследование влияния городского российского социума на формирование габитуса в процессе воспитания в результате отражения культурного опыта конкретной социальной среды, её религиозных и идеологических установок. На конкретных примерах проиллюстрировано, что социологические теории при исследовании исторических процессов и явлений позволяют расширять, систематизировать и обобщать факты, а также выявлять закономерности развития общества.DOI 10.14258/izvasu(2017)2-34 ; The article is devoted to the analysis of the use of terms in the condition of integration of approaches to social knowledge and interdisciplinary study as a basis for historical research of sociological theories of E. Durkheim, R. Merton, P. Bourdieu, which serve as an effective tool and allow one to objectively consider various objects of reality. It shows the scientific use of the theory of anomie in the analysis of political, economic and social transformation to study the whole and individual regions in the period of crisis, wars and revolutions. The analysis is given to the ways and forms of daily life research, the style, actions and thinking of people based on sociological theories. Consideration is given to the variety of approaches to the analysis of deviant behavior from the point of view of sociological theories applied to everyday practices. The demonstration is made of the use of the theory of P. Bourdieu to the study of the influence of urban Russian society on the formation of habitus in the process of upbringing, by reflecting the cultural experience of particular social environment, its religious and ideological attitudes. The article discusses the application of the theory of dynamic chaos to the study of social phenomena. Appeal to the origins of the creation of the theory of dynamic chaos in natural science (A. Poincaré, I. Prigogine, E. Lorenz, and others) revealed nonlinear dynamic systems in the natural environment (turbulent flows, atmosphere, biological populations, etc.). The category of "chaos" is now firmly established in the arsenal of the social sciences and humanities, although only recently it referred exclusively to natural science knowledge (the theory of chaos in mathematics, physics, biology, etc.). In synergetics, for the first time, the description of self-organization processes as a mutual transition of order and chaos was proposed by I.R. Prigogine.But in the social sciences such systems are society, its economic, political and other spheres, which have the properties of non-closure, instability and non-linear development. In Ukrainian philosophical thought, one of the first works in which the problem of the development of nonlinear self-developing systems was highlighted was the work of I.S. Dobronravova (1991). Scientific monograph I.V. Yershova-Babenko (1992) also had a significant impact on the development of studies of complex non-linear systems, since for the first time the system of the human psyche was considered as a non-linear self-organized system. The psycho-synergetic model of social reality is based on the fact that social reality is a psychomeric environment, i.e. a complex nonlinear system consisting of other complex nonlinear integrity, which are determined by phase transitions between different states of chaos and order. The application of chaos theory is also possible at the micro and macro levels of social research, which is presented by Ukrainian researchers in synergetics (I. S. Dobronravova, L. Finkel) and in psychosynergetics (I.V. Yershova-Babenko), L. Bevzenko and others. ; В статье рассматривается применение теории динамического хаоса к изучению социальных явлений. В связи с является необходимым обращение к истокам создания теории динамического хаоса в естествознании (А. Пуанкаре, И. Пригожин, Э. Лоренц и др.), в котором были выявлены нелинейные динамические системы в естественной среде (турбулентные потоки, атмосфера, биологические популяции и т. д. Но в социальных науках такими системами являются общество, его экономические, политические и другие сферы, обладающие свойствами открытости, нестабильности и нелинейного развития. Поэтому категория «хаос» в настоящее время прочно вошла в арсенал социальных и гуманитарных наук, хотя еще недавно она относилась исключительно к естественнонаучным знаниям (теория хаоса в математике, физике, биологии и т. д.). В синергетике впервые описание процессов самоорганизации как взаимного перехода порядка и хаоса было предложено И. Р. Пригожин.В украинской философской мысли одной из первых работ, в которой была освещена проблема развития нелинейных самоорганизующихся систем, была работа И. С. Добронравова (1991). Єршова-Бабенко (1992) також здійснила значний вплив на розвиток досліджень складних нелінійних систем, оскільки вперше система людської психіки розглядалася як складна нелінійна система, що самоорганізується.Психосинергетична модель соціальної реальності ґрунтується на тому, що соціальна реальність – це психомірне середовище, тобто складна нелінійна система, що складається з іншої складної нелінійної цілісності, яка визначається фазовими переходами між різними станами хаосу і порядку. Застосування теорії хаосу можливе також на мікро- та макрорівні соціальних досліджень, які представлені українськими дослідниками в галузі синергетики (І. С. Добронравова, Л. Фінкель) та психосинергетики (І. В. Єршова-Бабенко).

У статті розглядається проблема реалізації людської індивідуальності в умовах постійного тиску соціальної системи на свідомість і психіку людей. Ця проблема досліджувалася, починаючи з 30-років ХХ століття в рамках критичної соціальної теорії (М. Хоркхаймер, Т. Адорно, Г. Маркузе, Е. Фромм та ін.). Автори вважають, відсутність позитивного рішення названої проблеми в ХХI ст. пов'язане з тим, що тиск на свідомість і психіку людей здійснюється сучасною наукою, яка багато в чому відреклася від свого первісного, гуманістичного змісту. В умовах ослаблення позицій глобальних ідеологій наука взяла на себе функції соціального контролю. Повсюдне поширення технологічного, комп'ютерного мислення позбавляє людину здатності рефлексії і самопізнання. ; Problem setting. The article considers the problem of realization of human individual- ity under constant pressure of the social system on the minds and psyche of people.Recent research and publications analysis. This problem was investigated, starting from 30 years of the twentieth century within the framework of critical social theory (M. Horkheimer, T. Adorno, H. Marcuse, E. Fromm etc.). In the twenty-first century we are witnessing the inadequacy of the proposed solutions and worsening of the problem.Paper objective. To identify and explore new factors and conditions that prevent indi- viduals to attain the authentic reason for internal development.Раper main body. The irrationality of modern society, divided into separate streamlined fragments of everyday life, became invisible to the individual. Doubts and emotional pro- test of unreasonableness set by government laws and regulations the most subtle ways are pushed to the periphery of individual and social consciousness. In each case, irrational declared doubt the individual consciousness, whereas the decisions taken at the level of society as a whole look quite rational and sanctified by the authority of science. Мodern science loses its critical evaluation in relation to the social whole created on its basis and becomes a universal ideology of industrial civilization. The rationality of modern scien- tific technology securely inscribed in the irrationality of society as a whole.Science re- places the weakening of global ideologies in the system of social control, progressive pathos of the past is replaced by attitudes of society of mass consumption. Technological thinking, which dominates in the developed industrial society, establishes a new, more ef- fective forms of social control over individuals. One of these forms is the blurring of the distinction between false and true needs of individuals. «Pseudopatient» in a large quan- tity are imposed on the individual through sophisticated technology intervention in the sphere of the unconscious.In these circumstances, the categories of psychology and psy- chiatry become categories of social forces and political processes that support oppressive pressure on individuals. To block the natural resistance of the individuals excessive repres- sion, science begins the attack on the last refuge of their freedom, the inner world of indi- viduals.Repressive civilization deprives the individual the ability to cultivate reflective thinking and to move along the path of self-discovery. Instead of the inner creative space of the individual by external pressure is continuously imposed on the ersatz identity, sub- stituting its authenticity. A variety of collective rituals, widely practised in a civilized so- ciety, aimed at maintaining modern myths and the weakening of the critical abilities of the individual to resist the hypnotic influence of the new civil religion.Conclusions of the research The lack of a clear revolutionary forces does a modernsociety is less irrational, since the situation though and pushes into the background the idea of emancipation of the whole mankind but confronts each individual with the task of liberation from external ideological pressure. ; В статье рассматривается проблема реализации человеческой индивидуаль- ности в условиях постоянного давления социальной системы на сознание и психи- ку людей. Авторы полагают, отсутствие позитивного решения названной проблемы в ХХI веке связано с тем, что давление на сознание и психику людей осуществля- ется современной наукой, которая во многом отреклась от своего первоначально- го, гуманистического содержания. Цель. Статья посвящена рассмотрению мифа в теории коммуникативной рациональности Юргена Хабермаса. Цель работы заключается в выявлении способов соотношения мифа и действия, понятого как действие коммуникативное.Метод или методология проведения работы. В статье приводится концептуальный анализ понятия миф в контексте теории коммуникативного действия, обобщение его результатов. Используется принцип историко-философской реконструкции и принцип системности.Результаты. В ситуации, когда истина перестает быть критерием достоверности, а на его место приходит адекватность соответствующему контексту, миф понимается как возможный контекст истины. Вывод статьи включает положение о соотносимости коммуникативного действия и мифа в теории Юргена Хабермаса.Область применения результатов. Результаты исследования могут быть применены в научной и образовательной сферах. Поскольку действие есть орудие взаимодействия человека, мира и общества, то конкретизация понятия действие значима в решении как теоретических задач, так и индивидуальных, социальных, этических и политических проблем. ; Purpose. The article points out the correlation between myth and action within Habermas's theory of communicate rationality.Methodology. The concepts of communicative action and myth are analyzed within the methodological scope of philosophical reconstruction and principle of systematicity.Results. It is argued, that myth, understood as a possible context of truth, does not contradict with the principles of communicative rationality, because truth itself is no longer an undependable validity claim, but it rather complies and changes with the context.Practical implications. The research's results might be widely used in academic and educational environments. Moreover, it is crucial to concretize the concept of action for solving not only theoretical issues, but also personal, social, ethical and political problems, since action is a medium through which man, society and world interact with each other.

Through the lens of the collective memory theory, this article examines issues of community integration, within the context of fostering a sense of affinity and connection in a network society. The author ponders the proportion of significance of the past on a macro- and micro-level. The main goal of the researcher is to display the role of a network in developing individual and collective identity, while focusing on the following problems: if the past plays such a vital role in processes of integration on a macro-level, does it play as crucial a role on the micro-level; does addressing the past develop or sustain itself within a network; can "network proclivity" in collective memory be considered an effective mechanism for developing attitudes. In other words, the significance (or lack thereof) of past experience (collective memory) is brought into question. This article presents certain mechanisms for integrating society by means of using reminders from the past. Also, based on analyzing polls which were conducted throughout the last twenty years, it is revealed how specific events in Poland's recent history have played out in collective memory. The author presents interpretations, hypotheses, as well as arguments and counterarguments with regard to the connection between the network nature of social life and the development of various forms of connection to the past. The results of the study indicate that participation in a network has an insignificant effect on one's interpretation of events from the recent past. Also highlighted is the fact that individuals who directly participated in certain events are the most trustworthy source of knowledge of the past. This confirms the hypothesis that modern networks do have an effect on choosing traditions, and therefore on their transformation on a macro-level.
