L'objet de cet article est de s'interroger sur cet enjeu sanitaire sous accord ADPIC. Sont confrontées les flexibilités prévues par l'accord pour promouvoir la santé publique dans les pays en développement et les mesures laborieuses prises par le Brésil, la Thaïlande et l'Inde pour améliorer l'accessibilité des médicaments antisida.

National audience ; Local players are increasingly integrated into the supply chains of large retailers who are continuously restructuring the scope of their activities within the globalization process. These large retailers, by designing and applying their proper quality standards, expand their impact beyond their national borders and take on the role of leading players in influencing global value chains worldwide. The present article illustrates this evolution through two case studies treating the coordination and reconfiguration of the fresh tomato export sectors in Morocco and Turkey by large European retailers. The global value chain approach serves as the theoretical basis for the study. The authors conclude that local players must adopt collective strategies in order to retain bargaining power when facing key-agents of the global value chains. To do so, they need to continuously upgrade their competence by investing in horticultural development and improving the sanitary quality of their fresh produce. ; Dans le processus de la globalisation, les filières locales sont de plus en plus insérées dans des chaînes d'approvisionnement de grandes entreprises qui reconfigurent continuellement leurs périmètres d'activités. Ces grandes entreprises, en érigeant et en appliquant leurs propres normes, élargissent leur zone d'influence au-delà de leurs pays d'origine et ainsi apparaissent en tant qu'agents clés incontestables gouvernant les chaînes de valeur qui s'étendent au niveau mondial. Cet article en mobilisant le référentiel théorique de la chaîne globale de valeur, démontre cette évolution dans les pays du Bassin méditerranéen. L'exemple des filières d'exportation des tomates fraîches du Maroc et de la Turquie illustre ce changement dans la coordination des filières locales par des entreprises agrotertiaires européennes.
