"The main topic of the text is the history of the only Czech village in Bulgaria - Vojvodovo. The article covers the whole "Czech" period of this village from the migration of some twenty Protestant families from Banatian Czech village of Svatá Helena to Bulgaria and the foundation of Vojvodovo in 1900, to the post-war period when almost all Czech inhabitants of Vojvodovo left the village and moved to the South-Moravia region in Czechoslovakia. In a rather classic way the author describes the spheres of language, folklore, kinship and economy of the community, and proves that its main core was its religiosity described as the community-differentiating and community-maintaining principle." The paper deals with the agrarian party family in Europe. Authors try to offer a comprehensive survey of historical developments, changes & trajectories followed by agrarian parties during the 20th & the 21st century. The attempt in cross-European comparison is provided because both Western European (Scandinavian, Swiss, & other examples) as well as Central European (Visegrad countries plus Slovenia) are taken into account with emphasis put on agrarian parties in Central European countries. Different strategies of (former) agrarian parties are presented with which these political parties challenged decline of "natural" electoral support of shrinking rural population. Finally, the comparison of ideological & manifesto dimensions of (ex-)agrarian party politics is provided in order to evaluate to what extent there is still a real existing agrarian party family. The objective of this analysis is to introduce the concept of Asian values and, more particularly, the Asian concept of human rights. The Asian debate on human rights centers around issues such as the human rights generations, individual versus collective rights, rights of states, & the relationship between rights & duties. The criticism of the Western concept of human rights constitutes an inseparable part of this debate. This analysis thus aims at bringing forth a greater understanding of this issue through the study of cultural relativism, which is prominent in the criticism leveled at Western societies. This study starts with defining two core theoretical concepts of human rights -- universalism & cultural relativism. Consequently it presents the major features of the Asian values debate & Asian criticism, illustrating them on the case of Singapore, Malaysia & Indonesia. Adapted from the source document.
