Vorgelegt werden Ergebnisse einer empirischen Untersuchung der Universität Belgrad zur politischen Einstellung der serbischen Bevölkerung, in deren Verlauf im November 1993 1511 Personen befragt wurden. Fast zwei Drittel der Befragten bezeichneten sich als politisch desinteressiert. Die Unterstützung für die Idee eines Großserbien war hoch, ausländischen Medien und der internationalen Staatengemeinschaft stand eine Mehrheit der Befragten ablehnend gegenüber. Die Untersuchung macht deutlich, daß die Propaganda Präsident Milosevics bei der serbischen Bevölkerung auf fruchtbaren Boden fällt. (BIOst-Wpt)
