Дается анализ организации воспитательного процесса в учительских семинариях Восточной Сибири в начале ХХ века. Показано, что новые веяния, подходы, наполняющие, преобразующие воспитательный процесс, способствовали усилению военно-патриотического и гражданского воспитания учащихся, которое особенно рельефно проявилось в годы Первой мировой войны. Заметно возросло внимание к работе с воспитанниками по трудовому физическому и эстетическому воспитанию в результате расширения номенклатуры обязательных и необязательных учебных предметов, возрастания участия семинаристов во внеурочной деятельности. Установлены недостатки в воспитательной работе, проявлявшиеся в виде формализма, высокомерия, в нехватке квалифицированных специалистов и недоукомплектованности необходимым оборудованием соответствующих помещений. Подчеркнуто, что расширение и углубление содержания воспитательного процесса несли в себе признаки развития гуманистических тенденций, связанных с возрастанием учета возможностей личности. ; The article analyzes the organization of educational process in teachers' seminaries of Eastern Siberia in the early twentieth century. It is shown that the new ideas, approaches, that filled, transformed the educational process, contributed to strengthening of military-patriotic and civic education of pupils, which was especially vividly demonstrated during the First World War. Markedly increased the attention to the work with the pupils on labour, physical and aesthetic education as a result of expanding the range of compulsory and optional subjects, increase in seminarians participating in extracurricular activities. It was determined that in the educational work there were some drawbacks, sometimes manifested in the form of formalism, arrogance, lack of qualified specialists and understaffing of the necessary equipment of appropriate rooms. It was stressed that the expansion and deepening of the content of the educational process bore the signs of the development of the humanistic tendencies, associated with an increase in accounting features of personality.

AbstractCorruption has been identified as a major debilitating factor in tax revenue generation, especially in developing countries. This study examines the effects of perceived political corruption on tax compliance intention and investigates the mediating roles of tax morale and tax tolerance among private businesses in Ghana. Data were collected with a questionnaire from 1133 private firms randomly sampled in the Greater Accra Region. Estimation was done using structural equation modelling with maximum likelihood estimation techniques. The study finds that perceived political corruption diminishes tax morale, tolerance and compliance intentions. Moreover, tax tolerance and tax morale enhance compliance intentions. Again, tax morale and tax tolerance partially mediate the relationship between perceived political corruption and tax compliance intention, reducing corruption's negative effects on intentions to comply with tax obligations. Finally, these tax compliance behaviours vary with education, age of business, sectors and firm size. The government of Ghana needs to focus on voluntary tax compliance by convincingly fighting corruption, especially by tightening fiscal loopholes.

This article will discuss social, environmental, and ecological justice in education for sustainable development (ESD) and Education for Sustainable Development Goals (ESDG). The concept of sustainable development and, by extension, the ESD, places heavy emphasis on the economic and social aspects of sustainability. However, the ESD falls short of recognizing ecological justice, or recognition that nonhumans also have a right to exist and flourish. An intervention in the form of an undergraduate course titled Politics, Business, and Environment (PBE) will be discussed. As part of this course, students were asked to reflect on the three pillars of sustainable development: society, economy, and environment, linking these to the fourth concept, ecological justice or biospheric egalitarianism. Biospheric egalitarianism is characterized by the recognition of intrinsic value in the environment and is defined as concern about justice for the environment. Some of the resulting exam answers are analyzed, demonstrating students' ability to recognize the moral and pragmatic limitations of the anthropocentric approach to justice. This analysis presents ways forward in thinking about the role of "ecological justice" as the ultimate bottom line upon which both society and economy are based.

Indonesia is a country with a massive cultural diversity in every region. The cultural community certainly has its own characteristics to show their respective traditions with the natural forces of the region both real (sekala) and intangible (niskala). In that case, to live the socio -cultural life is certainly not independent of the procedures, attitudes and ethics when dealing with society. now, ethical attitudes in character seem almost extinct and neglected. This is becoming more viral with the participation of unethical attitudes by young people through youtube content, InstaGram, and other electronic media that have been rapidly developing lately. So it is necessary the role of parents, the role of educators, and the role of the government to be able to filter the food on the media and always direct the students to always improve the values of Pancasila as the basis of being ethical as a moral teaching. In this case, Pancasila will be discussed through ethical education from the point of view of Balinese Theology and Culture.

The paper discusses the social mission of universities in China, the unique nature and specific characteristics determined by historical trends, mentality, and culture of the Chinese nation, the importance of reform policy and being an open university. The author repeatedly emphasizes that the government focuses on the transforming values of the youth, which is responsible for growing capacity of the country, enhances the prestige of university as the cultural and ideological segments of the state and society. New trends and principles in the higher education system, the theory of practical morality, spiritual and moral education have become the top priority for higher education. The important and prompt activities resulted in the huge leap forward in one generation when a semi-feudal state had been transformed into a powerful country, a leader competing successfully in the global community and forming a unique nature of Chinese educational institutions.

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mendeskripsikan Bagaimana Upaya Pemerintah Jombang Dalam Membina Moral Masyarakat Di Daerah Sekitar Lokalisasi Klubuk Kelurahan Sukodadi Kecamatan Kabuh Kabupaten Jombang; (2) Mendeskripsikan Faktor yang menghambat Pemerintah Jombang Dalam Membina Moral Masyarakat Di Daerah Sekitar Lokalisasi Klubuk Kecamatan Kabuh Kelurahan Sukodadi Jombang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Struktural Fungsional dari Talcott Parson. Parson membagi empat fungsi dari sistem sosial yaitu, adaptasi, pencapaian tujuan, integrasi dan pemeliharaan pola. Sedangkan Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan informan 13 0rang. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Sukodadi, Kecamatan Kabuh, Kabupaten Jombang. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah manusia, peristiwa dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa: (1) Upaya pemerintah desa dalam mengatasi dampak sosial keberadaan lokalisasi klubuk bagi masyarakat Desa Sukodadi Kecamatan Kabuh Kabupaten Jombang adalah diadakannya kegiatan pengajian rutin setiap malam jum'at serta penyuluhan kesehatan mengenai dampak keberadaan lokalisasi bagi masyarakat yang di lakukan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten yang berkerjasama dengan Puskesmas Kabuh yang dilakukan di Balai Desa Sukodadi dan dilakukannya pemeriksaan kesehatan terhadap para warga masyarakat serta PSK yang ada di kompleks lokalisasi Klubuk oleh Puskesmas Kabuh melalui program PUSLING (Puskesmas keliling) yang di lakukan setiap dua sampai tiga bulan sekali.Kata Kunci: Upaya Pemerintah, Pembinaan Moral, Lokalisasi KlubukAbstractThe purpose of this study are: (1) Describe the Government's efforts Jombang to Fostering Moral Society in the Regions Around Localization Klubuk Village Sukodadi Jombang District of Kabuh; (2) Describe the factors that hamper the Government Jombang to Fostering Moral Society in the Regions Around Localization Klubuk Sukodadi Jombang District of Kabuh village. This research uses Structural Functional theory of Talcott Parson. Parson split the four functions of the social system, adaptation, goal attainment, integration and maintenance of the pattern. While Methods This study used a qualitative approach the informant 13 people. Sukodadi research sites in the village, District Kabuh, Jombang. Source of data in this study is a human, events and documents. Data collection techniques by observation, interview and documentation. Based on the results of the study showed that: (1) The village government efforts in addressing the social impact to the community where the localization klubuk Sukodadi Rural District of Kabuh Jombang is holding regular teaching activities every Friday evening and health education on the impact of the presence of localization for the public will be undertaken by the District Government in collaboration with Health Care Center Kabuh conducted at Village Hall Sukodadi and do health checks on the citizens and PSK in the complex localization Klubuk by through Health Care Center Kabuh. will be undertaken every two to three months.Keywords: Government Efforts , Moral Development , Localization Klubuk

This study aims to critically discuss factors associated with a recent dramatic rise in recorded mental health issues amongst UK youth. It draws from interviews and focus groups undertaken with young people, parents and professionals. We offer valuable new insights into significant issues affecting young people's mental health and well-being that are grounded in their lived experiences and in those who care for and work with them. By means of a thematic analysis of the data, we identified an increase in anxiety related to: future orientation, social media use, education, austerity, and normalization of mental distress and self-harm. We apply the notion of ontological security in our interpretation of how socio-cultural and political changes have increased anxiety amongst young people and consequent uncertainty about the self, the world and the future, leading to mental health problems. There are also problems conceptualizing and managing adolescent mental health, including increased awareness, increased acceptance of these problems, and stigmatisation. We relate this to the tendency for moral panic and widespread dissemination of problems in a risk society. In our conclusion, we highlight implications for future research, policy and practice.

El proyecto de investigación conocido como "El Hoy de la Escuela Nueva", realizado en el municipio de Pensilvania Caldas, en la Institución Educativa Camilo Olimpo Cardona, pretende, a partir de una perspectiva cualitativa, analizar y evidenciar el estado del modelo Escuela Nueva desde el componente administrativo (relacionado con la democracia, la cogestión y la autonomía), el componente comunitario (que guarda relación con las estrategias de participación de toda la comunidad educativa en el fortalecimiento de los aprendizajes y del modelo como tal), y el componente pedagógico (relacionado con el aprendizaje y los medios para que este se dé, entre ellos las cartillas o guías, los centros de recursos de aula(CRA) y los instrumentos de escuela nueva que permiten la relación entre los componentes y la evaluación de esta). ; The research project known as "El Hoy de la Escuela Nueva", carried out in the municipality of Pensilvania Caldas, at the Camilo Olimpo Cardona Educational Institution, aims, from a qualitative perspective, to analyze and demonstrate the status of the Escuela Nueva model from a qualitative point of view. the administrative component (related to democracy, co-management and autonomy), the community component (which is related to the participation strategies of the entire educational community in strengthening learning and the model as such), and the pedagogical component (related to learning and the means for it to take place, including the primers or guides, the classroom resource centers (CRA) and the new school instruments that allow the relationship between the components and its evaluation).

What explains the rise of race-conscious affirmative action policies in undergraduate admissions? The dominant theory posits that adoption of such policies was precipitated by urban and campus unrest in the North during the late 1960s. Based on primary research in a sample of 17 selective schools, we find limited support for the dominant theory. Affirmative action arose in two distinct waves during the 1960s. A first wave was launched in the early 1960s by northern college administrators inspired by nonviolent civil rights protests in the South. A second wave of affirmative action emerged in the late 1960s, primarily as a response to campus-based student protests. Most late-adopting schools were those most favored by the Protestant upper class. Our findings are most consistent with a theoretical perspective on institutional change in which social movements' effects are mediated by the moral and ideological beliefs of key administrators.

Pluralism has become the defining characteristic of modern societies. Individuals with differing values clamor for equality. Organizations and groups assert particular interests. Social movements flourish and fade. Some see in this clash of principles and aims the potential for a more just human community, while others fear a cultural erosion. Yet beneath this welter stand powerful and pervasive institutions, whose distinctive norms profoundly shape our moral commitments and character. Specialists on media and communication, journalism, television, theologians, economists, sociologists, philosophers and ethicists discuss the many functions and challenges the media pose to the communication and orientation in late modern pluralistic societies. Contributions come from Germany, the UK, France, the USA, South Africa, and Australia.

St. Francis Junior High School Kayu Putih has the idealsin line with the goals of national education, the formation of character towards a dignifiednation of civilization. The age of students in junior high school is a transitional age, therefore,need a particular approach technique to bring out good charactersfor them. The purpose of this study is to analyze the basis of character education preparation, supporting resources, implementation of character educationand character educationachievementin St. Francis Junior High School.Kayu Putih, East Jakarta. This study is a CIPP model evaluation research that effectivefor making decisions forimproving the program. The subjects were principals, deputy principals of curriculum, teachers, parents, the graduates, and students. The primary data collected using observation and interviews, whereas, the secondary data was takenfrom the documentation. We use qualitative data to analyze. The results showthat: (1) the basis for the preparation of character education is well structured, but lacking for the aspects of school policy, (2) the supporting resources were sufficient,however,needtheteachers to assist students with special cases, (3) the implementation of the character education was still under-evaluated in each of its activities, (4) for the achievement of the character education, students less able to interpret events and actions related to moral feelings.Generally, this study is beneficial for schools, teachers, parents, governments, and researchers to create innovation in the implement and make policy regard to the program of character education, especially for religious-based schools.
