"Eleonore Kofman and Parvati Raghuram argue that social reproduction offers an insightful lens through which to understand gendered transformations in global patterns of contemporary migration. They suggest that focusing on a range of sites, sectors, and skills beyond those deployed in the literature on care can offer new insights into the relationship between production and reproduction across genders, and how these are being reconfigured in the Global North and South. Drawing on the revived interest in social reproduction in the last few years, Gendered Migrations and Global Social Reproduction suggests that the failure of social reproduction is not only an outcome but also a driver of global migration among different categories of migrants. Moreover, the gendered implications of skill selectivity in immigration regimes, along with class, race and nationality, produce new forms of inequality which influence the ability of individuals and households to benefit from migration and to improve the conditions of social reproduction"--

A class of environmental problems, termed 500-year problems, poses significant threats to the world's societies. In 500-year planning there is a need for a sound philosophical foundation to guide the development of appropriate methods which analyze problems that cover very long time periods and that involve large uncertainties. In this paper philosophical aspects of 500-year planning, related to determining whether present generations are meeting their obligations to future generations, are addressed. Topics discussed include the treatment of future populations (as identifiable individuals or as enumerable groups) and the appropriate base for 500-year planning (utilitarianism or social contract theory). Adopting Rawls's concepts of the original position and of the veil of ignorance, a social contract is developed that guarantees the possibility of existence for all potential individuals, and sets limits on the risks that current and future populations might endure as a result of their ancestors' abuse of the environment. The specifics of the contract represent rational criteria upon which to base 500-year planning activities.
This work proposes to reveal the importance of promotion of agricultural products in the mainstream media for costumer retention and attracting new markets. The complexity of this reality is being reflected in the diversity of studies and programs proposed by the European Union through the Common Agricultural Policy with the target to promote local products. Another fact that proves the previous point is the plentitude of specialists in marketing who are being attracted more and more by direct marketing, achieved trough social media.

"The rapid trend of globalization has brought a variety of sustainability challenges, including global climate change, biodiversity loss, poverty, and social inequalities, which are problems with unclear boundaries, complicated interrelated components, undefined parameters, contradictory values, and no single solution. Social work has a long-standing tradition of emphasizing the interaction of people and their environment. For this reason, the field of social work is one of the best-placed academic disciplines and professions for studying the impact of environmental changes on social systems, and should play an important role in developing strategies for mitigating and adapting to these environmental challenges. However, traditional social work tends to lag behind sustainability work and neglect globally interconnected social problems. Combining case studies and country reports from around Asia and the Pacific Rim with a theoretical framework for understanding sustainability concerns, this book aims to show how social work can play a valuable role in mitigating and adapting to environmental challenges and social sustainability. For social work to develop to be a meaningful and viable profession that addresses contemporary sustainability issues, it requires changes and transformation in paradigm, theories, strategies, social policy and social services that will facilitate a sustainable future for all mankind"--

This article discusses the ideological and epistemological aspects of Mirzo Babur's worldview. It can be seen that Mirzo Babur solved the main problem of philosophy from an objective, religious-theological point of view. This worldview also applies to most medieval thinkers, especially those close to him in terms of period and region. From this, we can conclude that this objective idealistic religious-theological dogmatic outlook of Mirzo Babur was based on the principle of consistent, strict idealistic monism.
