This article examines a unusual corpus: that of one-author literary journals founded by significant Spanish writers forced into exile at the end of the Spanish Civil War. Namely, Atentamente by Manuel Altolaguirre, El Pasajero by José Bergamín and Sala de Espera by Max Aub. It attempts to understand how and why each one creates an editorial space for himself and suggests a hypothesis to interpret this formal dissonance –compared to the model of the literary journal consolidated over the centuries– as an expressión of the political dissonance in face of the ideals of the republican government established in exile.

; The purpose of the article is to identify distinctive features of the genre inherent to military diaries and notebooks written during the Great Patriotic War. To determine the genre's essence a method comparing subject-object narrative plans is analyzed. The presence or absence of an indirect addressee is identified. Common features of the texts' aestheticization in the works of V. Zakrutkin, A. Twardowski, V. Grossman, and A. Platonov are studied. The article draws special attention to the role played by the publisher in popularization of the studied genre. It was pointed out that military diaries and notebooks written during wartime period were used as sources of historical evidence and sometimes even as evidences in military court hearings. The author comes to a conclusion that it is not always possible to distinguish the genre of military diaries from the genre of notebooks, but it is undeniable that this kind of literature should be made public without censorship.

; This article analyzes the contextual factors that contributed in different ways to the origins of the university student protests of greater scope in Colombia during 1968-1971 and the resurgence of these mobilizations with a great impact within the framework of the first decade of the 21st century 2007-2011. This analysis is done from a regional perspective, emphasizing the particularities that the dynamics of the student movement of the Universidad del Valle brings to this process. For this purpose, we use the comparative politics method and the political opportunity structure concept, recovered from the North American approach to the theory of social movements. As a preliminary result, it is evident that, during the periods studied, the conjunction of three contextual factors —the educational reforms, the dynamics of the political regime and the cultural turns— was an opportunity for the construction and transformation of the students' interpretative frameworks, leading to the deepening and resignification of student protest.
