Wenn Menschen aus dem Westen versuchen China einzuordnen, so vergleichen manche es häufig mit Japan oder Südkorea. Andere mit den USA und wieder andere nennen eine Mischung aus dem kolonialen Hongkong und Osteuropa. Alle diese Vergleiche sind schlichtweg unzureichend.Schon die Tatsache, dass Raubtierkapitalismus und Kommunismus Hand in Hand gehen, ist nach westlicher Meinung kaum vereinbar. China ist gleichzeitig stabil und chaotisch, flexibel und starr, rechtsstaatlich und doch ungesetzlich. China ist anders! China ist gegensätzlich! Oft treiben diese Gegensätze und die extremen kulturellen Unterschiede den westlichen Geschäftsmann an den Rand der Verzweiflung. Aber warum ist das so?
