La diplomatie d'entreprise : entre réflexe économique, débats d'idées et relations internationales ; Business Diplomacy: Between Economic Reflex, Exchange of Ideas and International Relations
; The phenomenon of globalization, in conjunction with the economic and political transformations of recent decades, has involved the emergence of a new form of diplomacy that is driven by businesses in competitive markets. Business diplomacy has become indispensable, and is now established as a new means for economic leaders and public authorities to interact and develop relations. The importance of political and economic factors in the growth of a corporation is the product of international negotiations. However, in this context, the private sector has responsibilities in relation to issues of human rights and the conditions in host countries. To what extent can big business contribute to the development of this new diplomacy?

International Relations in American Political Science.
Pascal Vennesson [176-194].
Even if the end of the Cold War raised numerous questions on the appropriate theories, or the selection of research topics, international relations remains one of the most dynamic field of study in the U.S. political science. The article presents the study of international relations in the U.S. First, it evokes the historical creation of the field since World War I, and its main characteristics today. In the second part, it traces the evolution of the three major research programs : realism, liberalism and constructivism. Finally, it mentions some methodological explorations and the limits of an internationally successful intellectual endeavor.

The idea of social science and its relationship with political science ; L'idée d'une science sociale et sa relation à la science politique
From the publication of the French translation of a book by Peter Winch, the article reverted to the tendency of political science and, more broadly, of social sciences to adopt the naturalist view that the phenomena they deal with existed independently from the point of view of the members of society involved in their production. In this sense, the opposing positions of Bruno Latour and Pierre Favre, published in RFSP issues 58 (4) and (5), are similar: they argue that it is possible to determine what is and is not political externally to specific practices. ; International audience Based on the French translation of a book by Peter Winch, this article reassesses the tendency in political science – and, more broadly, in the social sciences – to adopt the naturalistic view that the phenomena those sciences explore exist independently of the viewpoints of members of society involved in their production. In this sense, the contrasting positions taken by Bruno Latour and Pierre Favre, published in issues 58 (4) and (5) of the RFSP, turn out to be similar : both posit that what is and is not political can be determined without reference to specific practices. ; From the publication of the French translation of a book by Peter Winch, the article reverted to the tendency of political science and, more broadly, of social sciences to adopt the naturalist view that the phenomena they deal with existed independently from the point of view of the members of society involved in their production. French language educational policies for diplomacy and international relations in digital ecosystem ; Les politiques linguistiques éducatives du français de la diplomatie et des relations internationales dans l'écosystème numérique
Our postulate comes down to the fact that French for diplomacy constitutes a vector of language education policies. We address both the notion of language education policies and French diplomacy. This will require finding new approaches to implement strategies for learning, training and have the data that will allow the establishment of an educational and interactive platform. Certain aspects of the French language, as it appears according to the use made of it by diplomats in the performance of their mission, are also explored. The basis of our corpus focuses on instruments in diplomacy, with the objective of highlighting its purely linguistic object and arriving at a typology. Diplomacy is also a matter of language, and the growing influence that new means of digital communication now exert on traditional forms of international communication is all the more prominent. Our approach is analytical and allows us to highlight the specificity of this variety of language. It took place in different levels of structuring of the French language. (Syntax, lexicon, rhetoric, enunciation, language level, argumentation, pragmatics,) etc. It is in fact a linguistic political science that fits into a theoretical and conceptual framework under exploration, the effectiveness of which has been tested in the field in different contexts; theoretical framework which is mainly borrowed from linguists and is enriched by analyzes of authors such as Robert Chaudenson, Louis-Jean Calvet, Loïc Depecker, Henri Boyer, Spolsky .A focus on institutional political issues allows us to describe the devices and actors of language education policies, already in place, and even consider other technical means to be implemented. The design of the educational and interactive platform for French diplomacy involves the dissemination and promotion of French. Given the universalization of all professions, languages have become a decisive professional argument and, as a result, digital environments also provide a very useful resource. Language education ...

Relations internationales
