The lecture engages the debate concerning the relation between politics and ethics. Ethics is the guardian of good practice and policy the guardian of the quality of life in the community. The author discusses their mutual historical development paying special attention to two dates. First in 1789, when the Bastille was demolished and the Republic founded with a slogan of ethical content ("Liberty, Equality, Fraternity"), but only in order to control it. The second date is 1989, the year in which the Berlin Wall fell, constitutes a turning point and the dominance of ethics over politics promoted by the triad: democracy, accountability, and human rights, which undoubtedly belong to the highest value. The problem with this is that ethical values can be used in an ideological way. Throughout the year the controversial legislative elections dominated the political landscape. Huge anti-government demonstrations that called in vain for political alternance. The legislative elections of 20 December 2018, boycotted by the major opposition parties, resulted in an easy victory of the ruling party, however without the expected constitutional amendment majority. Therefore, the prime minister and his cabinet were replaced. The local elections, crucial for democratization at the grass-roots, but postponed time and again since 1987, were again postponed in December 2018 sine die. Economic growth remained stable at about 5% per annum. Public investment in infrastructure (e. g. roads, harbour) and increases in agricultural productivity, notably of export crops, had been the key drivers of economic growth. Moreover, money-laundering, illegal money transfers and trafficking grew alarmingly. Unemployment and lacking political change caused increasing migration.

Cet article retrace les grands traits de l'histoire du football indonésien pendant ce siècle. Le développement du football indonésien suit à un degré remarquable l'histoire récente de l'Indonésie. Les principaux points en sont : les intérêts financiers concernés, la rivalité entre associations de football nationalistes et hollandaises, les tentatives de modernisation du football par le gouvernement de l'Ordre Nouveau et les batailles rangées (entre camps adversaires qui changent selon les périodes).

International audience ; Les 12 et 13 février 2015, s'est tenu à Paris 7-Paris Diderot le troisième colloque des jeunes chercheu-r-se-s en études critiques du politique, organisé par Armand Aupiais-L'homme, Yohan Barres, Jephthé Carmil, Charlène Charles, Cléo Collomb, Kévin Eybert, Brice Nocenti, Charlotte Puiseux, Aslı Telseren, Pauline Vermeren et Rémi Zanni, avec le soutien du COSTECH, du LCSP et de l'URMIS. Nous proposions alors de partir en quête des traces de la politique, laissant, comme il est d'usage depuis quatre ans maintenant, un large espace à la discussion et à la construction de conclusions collectives entre les intervenant-e-s – étudiant-e-s, doctorant-e-s et docteur-e-s récemment adoubé-e-s, provenant de différents champs disciplinaires rattachés aux humanités et aux sciences sociales – et le public.
