Bu çalışmanın amacı bir yöntem olarak uygulanan tarihsel canlandırmaya ilişkin tarih öğretmenlerinin görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Genel tarama modeline göre desenlenen bu araştırmada veriler "PROJE TALOK-O: Ortaöğretim Öğrencilerinin Tarih Algısını Ortaya Koymak Amacıyla Tarihsel Canlandırmanın Kullanılması ve Etkililiği"2 başlıklı TÜBİTAK projesinin tanıtım toplantısına katılan 100 tarih öğretmeninin tarihsel canlandırmanın tarih dersinde uygulanmasına yönelik düşüncelerini belirlenmek amacıyla uygulanan anketten elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular yüzde ve frekans olarak ortaya konulmuştur. Bu çalışma özelinde tarih öğretmenlerinin sınıf içinde uyguladıkları dramatizasyon yöntemlerini ya da tarihi mekânları ziyaretlerini tarihsel canlandırma deneyimi olarak ifade ettikleri tespit edilmiştir. Tarih öğretmenlerinin yaptıkları bu uygulamaların ilgili literatüre bakıldığında aslında tarihsel canlandırma olmadığı ve dolayısıyla bu konuda deneyim yaşamadıklarını ifade etmek mümkündür. Tarih öğretmenleri tarihsel canlandırmayı tarih dersinde etkili ve uygulanabilir bir yöntem olarak gördüklerini fakat imkân yetersizliği (okul, sınıf, ekonomi, araç-gereç bakımından)ders saati sınırlılığı, öğretim programının yetiştirilmek zorunda olunması gibi sınırlılıklarının olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Tarih öğretmenleri Osmanlı, Milli Mücadele, İlkçağ ve Orta Asya Türk Tarihi dönemini; askeri, sosyokültürel hayata ve yerel tarihe ilişkin konuları; Kurtuluş Savaşı ve İstanbul'un Fethi gibi olayları yüksek oranda tarihsel canlandırma için uygun bulduklarını ifade etmişlerdir. Tarih öğretmenleri siyasi konuları tarihsel canlandırma için diğer konularla aynı düzeyde uygulanabilir bulmamaktadırlar. Tarih öğretmenlerin büyük bir kısmının 16 yıl ve üstü deneyim yaşayan öğretmenler olduğu düşünüldüğünde, tarihsel canlandırma için tarih öğretmenlerinin çoğunun etkili bir öğrenme ortamı sağlayabileceğini söylemesi ve tarihsel canlandırmayı uygulanabilir görmesi; bu tür çalışmaları sınırlılıkları nedeniyle uygulamaktan çekindiklerini ve nasıl uygulayacaklarını bilmediklerini ifade etmeleri manidardır ; The aim of this study is to reveal the views of history teachers towards historical reenactment applied as a method. In this research designed according to the general scaning model, the data have obtained from questionnaire applied to determine the thoughts of the 100 history teachers who participated in the introduction meeting of the project titled. "TALOK-O Project: The Use and Effectiveness of Historical Reenactment in Order to Reveal the Perception of History of Secondary School". The findings obtained are presented as percentage and frequency. In this study, it has been determined that history teachers expressed their dramatization methods which they apply in classes or visits to historical places as experiences of historical reenactment. Examining the relevant literature, it is possible to state that these practices which history teachers had, are not actually the historical reenactment and they have no experience about this. The history teachers have pointed out that the historical reenactment is seen as an effective and feasible method for history lessons, but they have limitations such as inadequacy (in terms of school, class, economy, tools, equipment), limitation of teaching hours, and the necessity of teaching program. The history teachers have stated that according to them the periods of Ottoman, National Struggle, Ancient and Central Asian Turkish History; the subjects about military, socio-cultural life and local history; the events such as the War of Independence and the Conquest of Istanbul are suitable for historical reenactment at a high level. The history teachers have not seen the political issues applicable as other issues at the same level for historical reenactment. Thinking the many history teachers as the teachers who have 16 years or more of experience, saying that history teachers can provide an effective learning environment for historical reenactment and seeing that historical reenactment is feasible; it is meaningful that they have avoid to apply such studies due to their limitations and express that they do not know how to apply it

It has been evidenced that inclusive education could act as a springboard for addressing the educational challenges of the vision impaired in Nigerian educational institutions. Against this backdrop, the study investigated the challenges of implementing inclusive education for visually impaired undergraduate students in Anambra State, Nigeria. The study was carried out in Federal and State owned Tertiary Institutions. Two research questions and two hypotheses guided the study. Descriptive survey research design was adopted. 103 visually impaired undergraduate students were sampled. Simple random sampling technique was employed in the choice of tertiary institutions used for the study. The instrument for data collection was a 20 item questionnaire administered using interview method. Validation of the instrument was done by two experts in Educational Management and Policy Department and an expert in Measurement and Evaluation in Educational Foundations Department of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Data obtained were analyzed through mean and t-test statistic. The findings indicate that visually impaired students in Nigerian tertiary institutions are faced with myriad of educational challenges such as: inadequate facilities, dearth of instructional materials, unfriendly environment, lack of trained personnel. Based on the findings, the study recommended among others that, both the stakeholders and government should enhance the educational provisions for inclusive education of the visually impaired undergraduate students in Nigeria.

After gaining independence, Uzbekistan first had to find a solution to its political and economic problems. In this case, diplomatic relations in the conduct of public affairs, good personnel and experienced interpreters were needed to set an example from different countries. In particular, realizing that Uzbekistan cannot determine its future without international relations with foreign countries, it focused on foreign languages, culture, art, state structure and location of other nations. As a result, a lot of scientific research is being conducted in Uzbekistan in the field of translation studies. Particular attention has been paid to the development of simultaneous translation, and this type of translation is also developing. That is why this article is dedicated to it.

This book is the result of discussions that took place during the XXIII Forum of the Association of Young Legal Historians held in Naples in the spring of 2017. ; The collection of thirty-five essays presented here examines the links forged through the ages between the realm of law and the expressions of the humanistic culture. My dissertation examines representations of the subjugated and wounded body in Irish visual and literary culture in order to expand the concept of "Occupied Ireland." Working off the nationalist slogan "Ireland unfree will never be at peace," I explore the theme of an un-free and restless Ireland in its standard meaning as a nation still partially under British rule, but also in the sense of an Ireland occupied by patriarchal traditionalism and conservative clericalism. In films from the last two decades that foreground the subjugated bodies of their male and female protagonists are historiographies of post-partition Ireland that use, subvert and explode traditional visual and cinematic codes. In reading these film, I argue that the coexistence of two states in Ireland, each of which disavows the presence of the other, has shaped cultural conceptions of historical time, religious practice and national identity on both sides of the border. This affects which histories are officially acknowledged in culture and which ones remain illicit glimpses into the mechanics of an oppressive state power. ; Across four chapters I move from a thematic analysis of partition along national, religious, political and gender lines to a study of fragmentation in a given text as an aesthetic strategy for cracking open official history to an onslaught of occluded voices. Each chapter looks at representations of the body at different politically significant moments in Irish history (the abortion referendum, the protests for political status in the H-Blocks and Armagh Gaol, the Hunger Strike and the wave of economic and cultural transformation that supposedly swept 1960s Ireland). I conclude by placing the subjugated Irish body in the context of cultural bodies from other postcolonial nations, arguing that analyses of individual postcolonial cultures are most productive when used comparatively. The purpose of this paper is to draw attention to an important but perhaps under- appreciated aspect of the Internet: the emergent idea of a global commons in the use of the Internet, in which people might transcend national boundaries to discuss, plan and organize to further matters of global import, whether environmental regulation, curbing epidemics, mitigating poverty, reducing risks of nuclear wars, promoting individual freedoms, etc. This paper attempts to construct a framework to assess what this commons might be, variations in its practices, the threats it faces, and both technological and political means of protecting or at least preserving it. ; This material is based on work supported by the U.S. Office of Naval Research, Grant No. N00014-09-1-0597. According to some definitions, an energy transition refers to the time that elapses between the introduction of a new primary energy source, or prime mover, and its rise to claiming a substantial share of the overall market. According to one academic view, energy transitions take an incredibly long time to occur. Another view argues the opposite. It suggests that there have been many transitions at varying scales that have occurred quite quickly - that is, between a few years and a decade or so, or within a single generation. This paper holds that both sides are partly right, and partly wrong. After presenting evidence in support of either thesis, it elucidates four lessons for energy analysts and policy makers.

Central Asia has played an important role in the political, economic and cultural relations of different nations and countries since ancient times as one of the centers of the world civilization. The Great Silk Road, which passed through this region, brought together the countries on the trade routes, the peoples living in them, and served to spread information about their traditions, lifestyles, location, historical events. These data, in turn, brought different peoples closer and served as the basis for the establishment of mutual economic and cultural relationships between them. One of the important scientific issues here is the study of the spread of information about the Central Asian region, where most of the Great Silk Road passed, to Western Europe through other countries.

This article, based on more than 60 interviews, explores the tensions between deliberation and various forms of political activism and advocacy. It identifies more than 20 objections to deliberation that are proposed by political activists in various countries and contexts. It concludes with suggestions for combining deliberation and advocacy. Despite the overwhelming amount of writings that exist on the subject of Abraham Lincoln, there seems to be no clear consensus regarding what his personal views on race were. Depending on the work, Abraham Lincoln has been painted as either a color-blind Great Emancipator or a secret white supremacist who actively worked against the emancipation movement. With the recent debate over the Confederate flag and other race-related issues, the need to clarify the teachings on Lincoln has perhaps rarely been more relevant. This study examines his own writings, his public speeches, and the recollections of those who knew him best. His voting record as both a district and state Senator is also examined, and the claims made by some that these records show an inconsistency with his professed viewpoint are disproved. By examining these pieces of evidence a new viewpoint is discovered. This study shows that Abraham Lincoln was neither the heroic Great Emancipator of myth nor the secret white supremacist, but instead a man with much more complicated and nuanced views that ultimately desired the separation of the races so that both could flourish. These findings have been compared and contrasted with other works on the subjects and supported by quotes from Lincoln himself.
