In: Przegląd wschodnioeuropejski: East European review, Band 8, Heft 2, S. 73-91
Among many religious minorities in Russia there are two important: Baptists and Evangelical Christians. Their roots are in XIX century. The unification of the groups was possible in the conditions of religious tolerance which appeared after the year 1905. The 1920s of the 20th century was the period of rich development for the Evangelical Christians as well Baptists – they constituted one million people. The fall of tsarism and later turmoils due to the Russian revolution were the reason why so many inhabitants of Russia eagerly joined the communities of Evangelical Christians and Baptists. Just the good times ends with the end of the decade.
The Evangelical Christians-Baptists: between the religious tradition of Russia and foreign influence
In: Człowiek i społeczeństwo: czasopismo naukowe, Band 41, S. 71-89
Evangelical Christians and Baptists are Evangelical denominations representing Protestant beliefs in Russia. They share a similar approach to doctrinal matters and at one point in history united into a single ecclesiastical organisation. Domestic factors, in particular, as well as foreign influences played an important role in the Russian origins of Evangelical groups, which contributed to the Evangelical movement's religious inquisitiveness, spiritual fervour, and readiness for martyrdom around the world. In order to develop a thorough understanding of Evangelical Christians and Baptists in Russia, one needs to explore their political and cultural backgrounds.

Armeńscy Jezydzi. Proces akulturacji a specyfika diaspory: Armenian Yezidis. The acculturation process and the specificity of the diaspora
In: Przegląd wschodnioeuropejski: East European review, Band 12, Heft 2, S. 263-276
Yezidis is a religious group of Yezidi faith, sometimes identifying with Kurds or considering themselves a separate ethnic group. Parts of the Yezidi diaspora are scattered mainly in the countries of the Middle East. In Armenia, they are the largest minority in this country, with a population of around 30,000. The article presents the process of Yezidi acculturation in Armenia. The concept of acculturation of D. Sam and J. Berry, which takes into account the degree to which people want to preserve their identity and culture, and the degree to which they want to be in contact with people outside their own group and participate in everyday life within the framework of wider society, turned out to be helpful here. In the case of the Armenian Yezidis, the acculturation process is quite diverse, as it extends between integrating with the Armenian society and remaining on the margins of it.
