This article analyzes El azul de las abejas (2014), by Laura Alcoba, emphasizing its almost happy ending: a girl who, after having experienced a violent past in Argentina, exile and a laborious itinerary, manages to settle in another language, French, and thus build a new identity as a writer. In addition, the works produced by Alcoba dialogue with other artistic productions by children of militants in Argentina: Diario de una princesa montonera (Mariana Eva Pérez, 2012), Pequeños combatientes (Raquel Robles, 2013) and the photographic exhibition Arqueología de la ausencia (Lucila Quieto, 2011). This transmedial richness enables us to think about new articulations of meaning in relation to memory construction in the Southern Cone.
; The author examines "Ella", a story by Uruguayan writer Juan Carlos Onetti, as well as other representations of Eva Peron´s death, by Jorge Luis Borges, David Viñas and Néstor Perlongher. She asserts that in the Argentina of Perón, reality and fiction merged, so all of Eva's biographies would be "a duel of narrative versions between fiction and history or, in any case, a metaphor of history". Rosano claims that in the examined texts, it is reality that a adopts a bizarre appearance. This would be triggered by: decomposition and bad odor as atheme, imposture from the embalmed corpse and the president, an overlapping of political and sexual connotations in the funeral scene, and Eva's image as "a goddess wearing the lace of a small town bride" but also as a suffering and sinister "scarlet zombie". Finally, the author points out the texts' description of the faithful as "thousands of mumbling, mourning necrophiles" submitted to the power of myth.

Cultura política, historiografía y comunismo en España
In: Ayer: revista de historia contemporánea, Band 130, Heft 2, S. 329-341
This article tries to explain the metaphysical psychology of the classical age of Athens through one of its most emblematic literary genres : tragedy. This requires to say the relationship between tragedy itself with the God who presides it (Dionysus), and the relationship between this god with the cultural and political situation of the time.

Liberty, Nobility, Philanthropy, and Power in Alexander Hamilton's Conception of Human Nature
In: American journal of political science, Band 47, Heft 1, S. 61-74
ISSN: 1540-5907
Alexander Hamilton's conception of human nature grounds his political thought. His predominately and radically liberal conception of human nature is based on Locke's concept of liberty, Hobbes's concept of power, and Machiavelli's concept of the "effectual truth." It thus stresses the necessary relation between self‐interest and republican government and entails the repudiation of classical republican and Christian political ideals. But Hamilton's love of liberty is nonetheless rooted in a sense of classical nobility and Christian philanthropy that elevates even while contradicting his liberalism. The complex relation between liberty, nobility, philanthropy, and power in Hamilton's conception of human nature, in effect, defines his thought, reveals its assumptions, constitutes its strengths, and poses urgent problems. That complexity forms the spirit of his liberal republicanism.
