Manutenibilidade é o conjunto das características qualitativas e quantitativas combinadas, referentes ao projeto e instalação de um sistema, que permitem o cumprimento dos objetivos operacionais com mínimas despesas, incluindo mão de obra, pessoal qualificado, equipamentos de teste, informações técnicas e facilidades, sob condições operacionais nas quais serão realizadas manutenções programadas e não programadas. A facilidade de realizar a manutenção caracteriza a incorporação dos requisitos de manutenibilidade no ciclo de vida de um sistema. Dessa maneira, o tempo de manutenção necessário para corrigir os desvios de desempenho de um sistema, tais como falhas ou degradação de sua especificação, é uma medida de como a manutenibilidade foi incorporada nesse sistema. O objetivo desse trabalho é o de apresentar uma metodologia para implementação de um programa de manutenibilidade no ciclo de vida de um sistema nuclear. A estrutura metodológica é composta de três etapas. Na primeira etapa são definidas as principais fases do ciclo de vida do projeto de um sistema nuclear, na segunda etapa são identificadas as atividades relacionadas com o programa de manutenibilidade e na terceira etapa são alocadas as principais atividades em cada fase do ciclo de vida. In this work we present a nonlinear multiscale finite element method combined with local preconditioning for solving compressible Euler equations in conservative variables. The formulations are based on the strategy of separating scales, in which it is the core of the variational multiscale (finite element) methodology. The subgrid scale space is defined using bubble functions that vanish on the boundary of the elements, allowing to use a local Schur complement to define the resolved scale problem. The resulting numerical procedure allows the fine scales to depend on time. The formulation proposed added artificial viscosity isotropically in all scales of the discretization. Due to the fact that, density-based schemes suffer with undesirable effects of low speed flow including low convergence rate and loss of accuracy, local preconditioning is applied to the set of equations in the continuous case. We evaluate the multiscale formulation with local preconditioning in the low Mach number comparing with the non-preconditioned case. The experiments show that density-based schemes combined with local preconditioning yields good results.

RESUMO O objetivo deste estudo foi compreender a experiência de acesso a ações e serviços de saúde bucal de mulheres em situação de rua na cidade de Teresina, Piauí. Pesquisa qualitativa, norteada pelo paradigma interpretativo, desenvolvida com mulheres em situação de rua acompanhadas por instituições de referência. Os dados foram obtidos mediante entrevistas semiestruturadas, gravadas e transcritas. As análises foram baseadas na hermenêutica de Hans-Georg Gadamer (2015) associada às contribuições de Paul Ricoeur (1976). Foram realizadas 13 entrevistas, identificando-se duas unidades de significado: Sermulher em situação de rua; e Acesso a ações e serviços de saúde bucal. Diversas problemáticas cruzam as vidas das mulheres em situação de rua, sendo agravadas pela condição de gênero. Precárias condições de saúde bucal e dificuldade de acesso a ações e serviços de saúde bucal foram indicadas nas narrativas. É imperativo que as políticas existentes sejam postas em prática e contemplem as peculiaridades femininas. Apesar de todos os cirurgiões-dentistas da rede serem responsáveis pela atenção à saúde bucal das pessoas em situação de rua, a presença de um membro da saúde bucal dentro da equipe de consultório da rua foi apontada como necessária.

The purpose of this study is to understand the factors which contribute to fans of a certain soccer club (as consumers and their respective behaviors) attending or not soccer matches in the state of São Paulo (Brazil). The survey follows a quantitative approach using questionnaires with the Motives for Attendance (MAS) and Motives for Non-attendance (MNAS) scales. The questionnaires were administered in loco in all stadium sectors during matches of the top state soccer league of São Paulo in 2020, and all the respondents signed a consent form. A total of 99 people answered the questionnaire. For the team's loyal fans and those that follow it as a second team, supporting the team in the stadium and the thrills afforded by the matches are the main factors that drive attendance. For non-supporters, the reasons for attending matches are related with the socialization that occurs during the event. On another hand, the reasons that keep people away from stadiums relate to issues of comfort, infrastructure and ticket prices. In contrast to previous studies in the literature, this study shows the perspective of fans from a smaller soccer club.

ABSTRACT: Explosives are widely used in extraction of ores, melts and fuels and in the safe and economical demolition of structures. These applications demonstrate the value of explosives to society and the reason why they are manufactured worldwide despite the hazard of their preparation. Hence, this paper focuses on the manufactory of the military explosive Hexogen (also known as RDX). The characteristics of the process are described by the analysis of a specify manufactory plant. The chosen analysis tool is the Hazard and Operability Study - HazOp. Historically, this methodology has been applied at chemical industries and is used in industrial process operability analysis. This study analyses seven critical nodes in the RDX manufacturing process, identifies several deviations, and causes and consequences. From these results, improvements in the units are suggested and actual conditions discussed. It is important to remark that this work is an initial approach to analysis of the manufacturing process of RDX using the HazOp methodology.

A COVID-19 implicou transtornos na realização da pesquisa intitulada "As mulheres, graduandas e o mar: rede informacional e documental para aposentadoria das marisqueiras" desenvolvida por estudantes de Secretariado Executivo, pelo Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação Científica [PIBIC] financiado pelo Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico [CNPq]. Os pesquisadores passaram a trabalhar na modalidade remota a fim de concluir a investigação citada. O objetivo do estudo foi conhecer as performances dos pesquisadores na modalidade de trabalho remoto durante a Iniciação Científica. As bases teóricas da pesquisa incluem os estudos da área Secretarial e demais investigações sobre teletrabalho/trabalho remoto no Brasil. O objetivo foi apresentar o processo de reestruturação metodológica e replanejamento do trabalho dos pesquisadores ocorridos durante a pesquisa citada. A pesquisa é exploratória e a metodologia utilizada foi descritiva qualitativa considerando os relatos de experiências da equipe. Os resultados indicaram êxito na execução dos levantamentos bibliográficos, documentais e na realização das entrevistas e reuniões, todos realizados na modalidade online.

Policies aiming to preserve vegetated coastal ecosystems (VCE; tidal marshes, mangroves and seagrasses) to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions require national assessments of blue carbon resources. Here, we present organic carbon (C) storage in VCE across Australian climate regions and estimate potential annual CO2 emission benefits of VCE conservation and restoration. Australia contributes 5-11% of the C stored in VCE globally (70-185 Tg C in aboveground biomass, and 1,055-1,540 Tg C in the upper 1 m of soils). Potential CO2 emissions from current VCE losses are estimated at 2.1-3.1 Tg CO2-e yr-1, increasing annual CO2 emissions from land use change in Australia by 12-21%.
