"After 9/11, neoconservatism was widely regarded as the dominant political ideology informing US foreign policy - particularly by the press. George N. Tzogopoulos here argues that the impact of neoconservatism can be disputed, examining other factors which influenced US foreign policy and the role of other politicians outside the neoconservatism movement. He demonstrates that prior to the events of 9/11, the key opinion-forming newspapers in Europe differed in their representations of neoconservatism. But, after 9/11, the European press rapidly adopted very similar approaches, constructing neoconservatism as the driving force behind Bush's international politics approach and the war on Iraq. The author asks why it is that media coverage in Europe focused on neoconservatism in particular over other IR theories, and the different factors - such as the scapegoat theory - which influenced journalistic work. He also examines early indications of the ways in which the European media are portraying US foreign policy under the Obama administration. The book considers the forging of such a cooperation nexus necessary, refutes claims for the beginning of second Cold War and explains that China's progress is irreversible. The book is synthesized around six chapters, namely "The Renaissance of China,""The New Silk Road,""Building a Future for China and Europe,""Greece, the Pearl of the Mediterranean and Regional Interconnectivity," and "The Pendulum of International Relations." These chapters outline the continuity in China's history, the contribution of CPC to the country's stability, the virtue of the Chinese leadership not only learn from mistakes but also to make difficult decisions for the long-term and the gradual evolution of a liturgical win-win attitude in world affairs. The book concludes with a special sixth chapter titled "China and the COVID-19 Pandemic." This chapter discusses China's response to the novel corona- virus and new opportunities and risks for stability in international affairs. Le 1 er novembre 2022, la loi sur les marchés numériques (DMA) est entrée en vigueur. Elle avait été proposée par la Commission européenne en décembre 2020 et approuvée par le Parlement européen et le Conseil en mars 2022. La loi sur les marchés numériques fait écho à la détermination de l'UE à façonner la nouvelle économie mondiale et à mettre en œuvre concrètement le concept de souveraineté numérique en proposant une réglementation renforcée qui affecte le fonctionnement des entreprises « Big Tech ». Cependant, elle crée également des défis dans une période où les États-Unis et l'UE intensifient leur dialogue sur les questions technologiques. Si les critiques américaines à l'égard du DMA sont relevées dans l'UE, l'ambition générale d'autonomie stratégique européenne, qui évolue dans la sphère numérique, n'ébranle pas l'unité transatlantique.

L'élection de Donald Trump en novembre 2016 est néanmoins susceptible d'introduire des éléments nouveaux dans ces relations. Cet article vise à proposer une première analyse sur les stratégies de rapprochement opérées entre Pékin et Washington durant l'Administration de Barack Obama. Il met l'accent sur l'imbroglio nord-coréen, le risque de guerre commerciale et le retrait des États-Unis du Partenariat Trans-Pacifique. L'article aborde également le débat sur la question de savoir si la Chine est susceptible de prendre une position de leader dans le processus de globalisation à partir du moment où Donald Trump continue de prôner une approche protectionniste en mettant en place son programme s'appuyant sur le slogan « L'Amérique d'abord ».

Cet article propose une analyse provisoire de la couverture médiatique du début du « Printemps arabe » dans les médias occidentaux et chinois. Se fondant sur la littérature occidentale spécialisée, l'article vise à analyser les articles publiés dans les éditions anglaises du China Daily et du Global Times ainsi que le contenu des entretiens avec des journalistes chinois. Ainsi, il tente d'étudier si le début du Printemps arabe a été interprété de la même manière dans les médias occidentaux et chinois, et de discuter si l'évaluation négative de la couverture médiatique chinoise par les chercheurs occidentaux est juste ou pas.

Résumé Cet article étudie l'histoire récente de la Grèce, depuis octobre 2009. Il s'intéresse en particulier à une crise économique, politique et sociale sans précédent, expliquant pourquoi le pays en a souffert si dramatiquement. Bien que cet article ne mette pas en cause la nécessité d'une réponse européenne au problème de la dette, il considère que la République hellénique est seule responsable de l'état de son économie et de sa stagnation. Ainsi, il démontre que le pays est entré en crise dans le contexte de nombreux facteurs pathogènes, qui peuvent difficilement être résolus par la classe politique existante, considérée comme incompétente. Cette classe politique a seulement en partie appliqué le Protocole d'accord avec l'Union européenne, et n'a pas été à même de protéger le pays de la cessation de paiement, ni d'inspirer confiance à la société, qui demande des changements radicaux.
