Coming-out vor allem Jugendlicher erfährt gegenwärtig eine Aufwertung und Hervorhebung in Familien, Medien, Politik und Forschung. Öffentlich als homosexuell sichtbar zu sein, wird dabei zur Bedingung eines authentischen Selbst und glücklichen Lebens stilisiert. Der vorliegende Artikel rekonstruiert und theoretisiert die für junge Schwule und Lesben relevanten Erfahrungen. Die Sekundäranalyse von 19 problemzentrierten Interviews zeigt, dass das Coming-out als problematische Dramatisierung und unausweichlicher Druck interpretiert wird. Eine Strategie des 'I _ gay', das heißt der Zurückweisung der identitären Relation zwischen homosexueller Sichtbarkeit und dem eigenen Selbst, wird vor diesem Hintergrund in ihrer subjektiven Bedeutung und in ihren politischen Implikationen diskutiert. ; Coming-out, especially of adolescence, receives increasing attention in families, media, politics and research. Being publicly visible as homosexual becomes a requirement for an authentic self and a happy life. This article reconstructs and analyses the significant experience of young lesbians and gays. The secondary analyses of 19 problem-centered interviews indicate that Coming-out is interpreted as a problematic dramatization and an inevitable pressure. The strategy of 'I _ gay', i.e. rejecting the identitarian relation between a visible homosexuality and the corresponding self, is subsequently under the premise of their subjective and political implications.
