Abstract

In 1594 Henry IV succeeded in defusing a peasant uprising by assuring them that extortions and abusive taxes on the part of the nobility would be curbed. This pamphlet lists the limitations of the tax privileges which had been given to the Challo Sainct Mas family in respect to the growing and importation of wine. ; Electronic reproduction; 8 p. ; 17 cm.
