Abstract

This article constitutes a reflection on the levels of participation of the civil society in the guard and collective protection of the democracy in the Americas in the complex context of the Juridical international System, like unfinished system, insufficient, and greatly submissive to the relations of power between the subjects that act in the political international scene, appreciations which they are more severe with respect to the oea, which still shows to serious contradictions between its reality and his to have to be. ; Este artículo constituye una reflexión sobre los niveles de participación de la sociedad civil en la guarda y protección colectiva de la democracia en las Américas en el complejo contexto del derecho internacional contemporáneo, como sistema inacabado, insuficiente, y en gran medida dependiente de las relaciones de poder entre los sujetos que interactúan en torno a él, apreciaciones que son más severas en lo relativo a la OEA, la cual muestra todavía serias contradicciones entre su realidad y su deber ser.
