International audience ; Abstract : The issue of ethics has emerged in the economic literature as a result of numerous scandals that have affected the financial markets, especially since the "Enron" affair. Beyond the "dishonest" behaviors of financial players, which have probably always existed, it is in the context of liberalization and financial globalization that it is now necessary to place the question of ethics, not from a moralistic point of view, but in terms of economic efficiency and "good" governance. ; Résumé : La question de l'éthique s'est imposée avec acuité dans la littérature économique à la suite de multiples scandales qui ont affecté les marchés financiers et notamment depuis l'affaire « Enron ». Au-delà de comportements « malhonnêtes » d'acteurs de la Finance, qui ont probablement toujours existé, c'est dans le contexte de la libéralisation et de la globalisation financière qu'il convient aujourd'hui de resituer la question de l'éthique, non pas d'un point de vue moralisateur, mais en termes d'efficience économique et de « bonne » gouvernance.
