Kelapa Dua Village is one of the villages in Kelapa Dua District, Tangerang Regency, Banten. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is certainly felt by the people of Kelapa Dua Village, the majority of whom are SMEs. The direct impacts felt by the community include health, economic, and psychological impacts. Economic anxiety is the most serious problem, because many SMEs are experiencing a decline in sales and an unstable business climate.In Kelapa Dua Village, SME business actors are mostly engaged in fields that produce daily consumption products, such as food and processed food and beverages as well as other culinary delights. The results of a survey conducted by the Tangerang Regency Government 86% of SMEs use their own capital and 11% obtain capital from bank loans and cooperatives. In the midst of this pandemic, some SMEs are not producing and some are still producing. Those who stopped operating were 17.9%, which produced 11.4% normally and those who continued to produce even though sales had fallen significantly due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic were 70.7%. In order to compensate for all these conditions, SMEs are required to work even harder to increase their economic turnover, and seek breakthroughs in order to survive. The key challenge for MSMEs during the pandemic is overcoming operational cash flow problems, as well as implementing changes in business strategies to offer services and products. The purpose of this community service is to participate in reviving the slumped SME business in the form of counseling on Cash Flow Management for SMEs affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Participants are prioritized for SME actors who are residents of the Kelapa Dua village, Kelapa Dua sub-district, Tangerang. The activity was carried out online via video in mid-November 2021. Background: Informal caregivers, or carers (unpaid family members and friends), are instrumental to millions worldwide for the ongoing delivery of health and well-being needs. The risk of crisis points (eg, hospitalizations) for caregivers increases with the absence of physical activity. The COVID-19 pandemic is highly likely to have increased the risk of crisis points for caregivers by increasing the amount of time spent indoors due to shielding and lockdown restrictions. Thus, accessible evidence-based tools to facilitate physical activity for caregivers indoors are urgently needed. Objective: The aim of this study was to co-design and develop a novel mobile app to educate and support carers in the undertaking of regular physical activity at home during and beyond COVID-19 restrictions via integration of the transtheoretical model of behavior change and UK physical activity guidelines. Methods: We co-designed a mobile app, "CareFit," by directly involving caregivers, health care professionals, and social care professionals in the requirements, capturing, and evaluation phases of three Agile Scrum design and development sprints. Seven participants representing multistakeholder views took part in three co-design sessions, each of which was followed by a development sprint. Requirements for CareFit were grounded in a combination of behavioral change science and UK government guidelines for physical activity. Results: Participants identified different barriers and enablers to physical activity, such as a lack of time, recognition of existing activities, and concerns regarding safely undertaking physical activity. Requirements analysis highlighted the importance of simplicity in design and a need to anchor development around the everyday needs of caregivers (eg, easy-To-use video instructions). Background: Various educational applications have been provided by the government that can be accessed and used by teachers or students as support for the online learning process. Most of the educators in elementary schools only use the WhatsApp group application. Purpose: This study aims to determine how parents respond to online learning through Whatsapp groups during the pandemic. Design and methods: This study uses a narrative analysis method with a qualitative approach. The population of this study were 20 parents of grade 5 students at SDN Tajur 01. The data were collected through indirect interviews in the form of a digital questionnaire distributed via WhatsApp. To find out the validity of the information from the questionnaire results, it was analyzed then summarized and arranged regularly. The questionnaire information is considered legal because it comes from the parents of elementary school students. Results: The results of this study reveal the responses of parents, namely: 1) The majority of parents of grade 5 students said that it was true that teachers only used the WhatsApp application as an online learning medium in elementary schools; 2) The learning process via WhatsApp group starts every morning by providing learning materials and certain assignments through audio, voice and text according to the learning schedule; 3) The rarely detailed video explanation of the lesson given by the teacher causes the child to have difficulty understanding the subject matter; 4) Through WhatsApp groups, which are felt to quickly bore children studying at home; 5) The activeness of children in online learning can be seen by always working on assignments via the WhatsApp group. This research includes only one school in Citeureup. The use of the WhatsApp application as a learning medium for teachers and students should be re-evaluated.

High physical and cognitive strain, high pressure, and sleep deficit are part of daily life for military professionals and civilians working in physiologically demanding environments. As a result, cognitive and physical capacities decline and the risk of illness, injury, or accidents increases. Such unfortunate outcomes could be prevented by tracking real-time physiological information, revealing individuals' objective fatigue levels. Oculometrics, and especially eyeblinks, have been shown to be promising biomarkers that reflect fatigue development. Head-mounted optical eye-trackers are a common method to monitor these oculometrics. However, studies measuring eyeblink detection in real-life settings have been lacking in the literature. Therefore, this study aims to validate two current mobile optical eye-trackers in an unrestrained military training environment.; Three male participants (age 20.0 ± 1.0) of the Swiss Armed Forces participated in this study by wearing three optical eye-trackers, two VPS16s (Viewpointsystem GmbH, Vienna, Austria) and one Pupil Core (Pupil Labs GmbH, Berlin, Germany), during four military training events: Healthcare education, orienteering, shooting, and military marching. Software outputs were analyzed against a visual inspection (VI) of the video recordings of participants' eyes via the respective software. Absolute and relative blink numbers were provided. Each blink detected by the software was classified as a "true blink" (TB) when it occurred in the software output and the VI at the same time, as a "false blink" (FB) when it occurred in the software but not in the VI, and as a "missed blink" (MB) when the software failed to detect a blink that occurred in the VI. The FBs were further examined for causes of the incorrect recordings, and they were divided into four categories: "sunlight," "movements," "lost pupil," and "double-counted". The sanitary crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in several changes in the way courts communicate, can be reached and handle cases. The so-called videoconferencing became one of the accepted ways of the hearings. This kind of videoconferencing took place on online videoconference solutions, which differ a lot from the conventional videoconference systems. After the exceptional situation, it remained a question whether the digital revolution of court proceedings had arrived or the use of videoconferencing should remain an exceptional instrument. The application of a videoconference system is the subject of the right to a fair trial, in this regard it has been contested by the European Court of Human Rights in several cases. This case law stated several expectations and reveals many aspects, which have to be applied to the online videoconference solutions. On the other hand, the wider use of legal tech instruments is the subject of the political will. The political support is crystallizing within the EU, whose right to act is limited. The interim measures which were introduced under the emergency law regimes on national level show a number of experiences on how the continuous and legally founded functioning of the justice system can be ensured, for example by the use of online video hearings. The balance between the effectivity and the legality is a crucial question. Upon the above-mentioned sources, the paper introduces the differences of the two methods of videoconferencing. It examines the legal requirements, details the experiences and shows the opportunities of the use of videoconference systems and online videoconference solutions in civil cases. The use of videoconference in civil hearings can be an instrument conforming to procedural right. The general application of videoconference, especially the online solution lowers the threshold to access the justice, accelerates the procedures, ensures social distancing, but requires both legal and technical preparedness.

DISRUPTING TRADITIONAL CARTOONING IN THE DIGITAL AGE This exegesis identifies the changing nature of political cartooning in the digital age, and specifically the Closed Gestalt confines of contemporary Opinion Page cartooning, a specific discipline that has been my practice for the last 32 years for the national newspaper, The Australian. The daily workload consists of creating a cartoon for a prescribed space on the page. The image coinhabits and illustrates a singular opinion piece of writing. With the advent of new technology, and the availability of improved digital drawing tools, my practice broadened to encompass the use of time-based digital animation. Consequently, to go beyond the limitations of the Opinion Page working model, I proposed to The Australian to experiment with a process described as an Open Gestalt. The project was aptly called Work-in-Progress (W-i-P). My working process was to solicit multiple ideas from readers online, through social media and the newspaper's website, to grow an expanding collaborative picture based on a chosen weekly theme or topic. In addition, during the course of each week, an animated video would be produced of the growing big picture. This practice-led process attempted to explore the phenomenology of ideas via an Open Gestalt framework, employing new communication technology and utilising innovative digital drawing tools. A necessarily fast-paced heuristic research method was employed to synthesise ideas into images. While experimenting with digital cartooning, using the latest software and hardware, I investigated key artistic precedents and the work of cartoonists that I found to be inspirational. At the same time, there were controversies surrounding the nature and role of political cartooning. In this workshop, we discussed the European legal framework for data privacy and processing personal data (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR). The workshop helped participants understand how their research is affected by the GDPR and what issues to pay attention to. The workshop began with a general introduction to the topics of data protection and the processing of personal data in the context of research, education and cultural heritage to summarize the pertinent articles of the GDPR. We then moved on to speak about the most common scenarios in which humanities' and social sciences' researchers encounter data protection issues. Examples of this included surveys, interviews and other research activities involving human participants, but also common academic scenarios like communication (mailing-lists, newsletters) and events (e.g. regarding picture and video recordings). Because researchers have to obtain legal consent from their participants in order to comply with the GDPR for many of their activities, the DARIAH working group ELDAH (Ethics and Legality in Digital Arts and Humanities) has developed a tool that provides standardized consent form templates for obtaining legal consent from human participants: The DARIAH ELDAH Consent Form Wizard (CFW). The CFW enables digital scholars and the wider research infrastructure community to quickly and easily obtain a standardized consent form that is legally valid in all of the European Union. The workshop participants were introduced to this tool and got a chance to test it by applying it to their own research practices. They used the tool to download templates to obtain research participants' consent; these templates can be adjusted to their specific needs in a few simple steps. Workshop participants had also a chance to give feedback on the CFW: to point out elements that are missing and suggest additional consent scenarios.

This chapter proposes a brief history of kinetic poetry as a transmedia and cross-artistic form. It connects the most relevant threads of a possible historiographic narrative of how kinetic poetry has been evolving since the beginning of the twentieth century at the intersection of literature, visual arts, cinema, animation, and technology, across various media. It argues for a transmedia approach because it does not place kinetic poetry at the heart of computational media and as a digital literature-specific genre, but rather as a temporal form that is media and language-specific, but also culturally and politically situated. Kinetic poetry is a form of poetry that relies on spatiotemporal transitions with expressive literary, visual and aural layers. Throughout the twentieth century, authors composed kinetic poems with varied media, such as motorized sculptures, celluloid film, video, holography, and computers. As it is unveiled, the origins of kinetic art and kinetic poetry can be traced back to the Constructivists' Realisticheskii Manifest and the Dadaists' praxis. When Marcel Duchamp staged puns via rotoreliefs in the 35 mm film Anémic Cinéma (1926), he opened up the way for hybrid works that can be experienced through the lenses of cinema, textual art in motion, and kinetic poetry. Later on, language went from projection to interaction, first with the investigations by the experimental poets in the 1950s-80s and then with the explorations by the digital poets from the 1980s onwards. Therefore, the discussion of kinetic poetry's cultural and technological history goes back to early abstract films, mechanical poetry, film poetry, videopoetry, holopoetry, to finally present algorithmically programmed animation. Because this narrative is heavily Euro- and American-centric, this chapter invites readers to contest the following historiographic version of kinetic poetry's trajectory, and to share knowledge about works created in other latitudes, especially by women and non-white authors.

This paper deals with role of digital culture and ICT in rethinking Holocaust remembrance, arguing for a semantic, or rather a theoretical change in analyzing Holocaust memory practices - from re-presenting the Holocaust to communicating the Holocaust. We will explore how this framework can provide a new tool for better encompassing and understanding of wide range of memory and representation practices we equate the Holocaust with, from traumatic Holocaust survivor testimonies, historical, cultural and national memory politics, education practices, Jewish Churban, to numerous memorial and artistic production about the Holocaust, but also add to the debates around issues of (non) representability of the Shoah, ethical imperatives of Holocaust memory and post-Holocaust thought. Our goal is to analyze how much this new platform is dependent on the digital turn, that is, how much of this change in perception of Holocaust memory can we find in the cultural paradigm change that came with ICT and digital technology. This digital turn in Holocaust memory is perceived in the increase of the amount of information about the Holocaust, social networks and social media culture dominated landscape, significance of digital archives, networking and collaborative projects, image, video and text reproduction and appropriation, focus on interactivity and communication in education and memorial institutions. We will showcase how big historical and institutional narratives about the Holocaust gave way to the exchange of multitude of stories, opinions and perspectives. How museum, memorial and school settings became entwined with online platforms and their digital materials, and also in what way are those digital materials used, reproduced and changed. Further, we will discuss how the third and fourth post-Holocaust generation are connected to this digital turn in Holocaust memory and whether in their memory and representational practices we can also find the communication turn.

International audience For more than twenty years (from 1992 till 2015) I did research on the New Year Festivals which are organised at the beginning of every year in Cape Town (South Africa). These festivals include three series of competitions: between carnival troupes named Klopse (from the English clubs), between male choirs called Malay Choirs and between Christian brass bands known as Christmas Choirs or Christmas Bands. In the course of this research I conducted a great number of interviews, videoed and photographed the festivals and their preparations, collected many printed documents on which I based several articles, book chapters and books (in English and in French); I also recorded a CD with a local choir singing for the Klopse as well as for the Malay Choirs and produced a video documentary on the 1994 edition of the festival. In this paper I explain the conditions in which I conducted this research, underlining the importance of the partnership I entered into with major actors of the festivals, and signal the implications of such partnerships. The article reviews the main reasons for the growth of the role of a «foreign language» discipline within the framework of non-linguistic specialties as part of the process of gradual reformation of the higher education system in Ukraine. The author addresses the search for effective concepts for the integration of professional training and teaching foreign languages for future highly qualified specialists in non-linguistic universities, which are reflected in strategic government documents. The main innovative methods of teaching a foreign language, conditions for their effective application in the educational process of higher educational institutions along with their teaching and educational potential are analyzed. Amongst the innovative methods of teaching students a foreign language, the author highlighted the following: training modules that ensure the development of the fluency of students' speech, as well as their confident communication in a foreign language; case technologies that make it possible to use practical life situations for learning; binary classes allowing the integration of subjects, interest and students` motivation. Educators and students have the opportunity to use the Internet and computer technology to increase the efficiency of the process of learning foreign languages in university courses. A great tool for learning foreign languages are mobile applications and Internet platforms that use authentic materials. Students and teachers have access to audio and video materials created by native speakers who are also teachers. Phenomenon This study aimed to investigate how students can develop their understanding of trauma biomechanics by means of technology-enhanced learning-an interactive visualization tool developed to enhance understanding of the biomechanics underlying an injury via dynamic imaging sequences. Approach: Students were invited to explore the content as a learning resource during an interprofessional clinical placement on an orthopedic ward. Thirty volunteer medical, nursing, and physiotherapy/occupational therapy students participated in 10 interprofessional groups of three participants. They were video recorded while interacting with learning software that was divided into five sections: Work Up, General Information, Biomechanical Case Study, Biomechanical Risk Assessment, and Treatment. Investigators probed students learning experiences via four focus group discussions. A sociomaterial perspective was adopted, directing the analytical focus to how students made use of talk, gestures, bodies, and material objects to understand the visualized phenomena. Findings: When connecting the visualization to a patient case, certain features of the technology stood out as important for promoting engagement and understanding trauma mechanisms. Decreased tempo, showing the directions and dynamics of trauma biomechanics in slow-motion, and color coding of the strain on the affected structures were especially important for evoking the emotional responses. The visualization tool also supported students explorations of causal relationships between external forces and their biomedical effects. These features emphasize the sociomaterial relation between the design of the technology and the student activities. Insights: Dynamic visualization of biomechanical events has the potential to improve the understanding of injury mechanisms and specifically to identify anatomical structures at high risk of injury. Dynamic visualizations for educational purposes seem to promote possibilities for learners to contextualize visual representations relative to ones own body. The exceptional migratory flows in Europe in 2015-2016 have entailed several challenges for the Flemish public service interpreting sector, including a mismatch in supply and demand, a shortage of interpreters for lesser-used language varieties, and government budget constraints. To meet these challenges head-on, the Flemish Government Integration Agency, responsible for certifying public service interpreters, has set up a research project designed to determine whether, and under what circumstances, briefly trained volunteer "language assistants" (LAs) could offer a valid additional form of language mediation. First, participants were trained and evaluated when interacting, mainly through role play, with fellow trainees. Second, their interpreting performances during real-life service provision interactions were video-recorded and assessed. The LAs' interpreting performances were assessed predominantly as unsatisfactory, the main challenges being linked to accuracy, language proficiency and code of conduct adherence. During crises (major events characterised by uncertainty, urgency and threat), society must make sense of rapidly unfolding events. This happens mainly through narrativising—depicting a setting, characters and a meaningful sequence of events and actions unfolding over time. In the early months of the pandemic, UK general practice shifted from face-to-face consultations to a remote-by-default model (telephone, video or e-consultation). This shift was initially widely accepted by press and public, but support waned after a politician declared that the change would be permanent. We invoke Burke's dramatistic pentad of act, scene, agent, agency and purpose to theorise findings from a detailed analysis of media coverage of the remote-by-default policy and reactions to it. We consider the 12 weeks from March to June 2020 (first lockdown, when remote-by-default services had just been introduced) and 1 week from late July 2020 (following the ministerial announcement). The initial introduction of remote consulting had strong narrative coherence in which all parts of the pentad were balanced: scene (a deadly virus threatening the country) aligned with act (lockdown, including avoiding face-to-face appointments unless essential), agents (the National Health Service and digital technology as heroic macro-actors), agency (general practitioners 'deployed') and purpose (to control the pandemic). The later period, however, was characterised by a mismatch between scene (a country emerging from lockdown and resuming normal life), act (imposition of the remote model), agent (a politician known for his enthusiasm for technology), agency (top-down directive) and purpose (modernisation). Whereas media narratives in the first period aligned with the genre of heroic adventure (suggesting a worthy battle, bravely fought), those of the second had characteristics of farce (something both comic and grotesque).
