In the implementation of government financial management, audit process is carried out by the inspectorate with the purpose to produce a quality audit. One of the indicators is the inspection report is submitted on time, however in the last 3 years the reports submitted by the Inspectorate of West Java Province have been late. The purpose of study was to determine the influence of ethics, education level, and professional skepticism on audit quality in the Inspectorate of West Java Province. This study conducted with a total 70 auditors with descriptive and verificative research method. Data collection using questionnaires and was analized by multiple linear regression. This study used multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that ethics, education level, and professional skepticism has an influence on quality audits both partially and simultaneously.

Worldwide tourism education is being promoted by various national and international agencies to achieve sustainable development goals. The presence of tourism education is tremendously growing in international universities. The results suggest that as per the academicians alongside with tourism professionals, the tourism education is highly relevant for economic development. It also shows that tourism education in Uzbekistan, is general a matter of course and specialization-based tourism programs are near to absent. This article is not focused on the criticism of reforms in legislation and their functionality, but rather on introducing possibilities which may present an alternative to developing and realizing projects along the lines of innovation in Uzbekistan. The question is how vocational training schools and institutes of higher education, specifically training programmes in tourism and hospitality, have changed and are changing now that the new laws on education, on vocational training. What kind of future can these institutions look forward to, what will they be teaching and in what conditions, especially, in time and after pandemic CoViD-19? This question applies equally to theoretical and practical training.

Abstract This paper aims to contribute towards a better understanding of the dynamics of women's movements and their relations with institutions, political parties and the official mechanisms used to promote gender equality. It is the outcome of the first study on State feminism in Portugal. Our research was carried out using a case study which focused on the main gender equality official mechanism and its networks, which required a qualitative approach. We concluded that currently, while the Portuguese State is confronted with its persistent inability to implement gender equality policies, the present situation of Portuguese women's movements is that of redefining and adjusting to the major challenge of reinvention and resignification within a very difficult external environment.

AbstractSecularization, expansion of higher education, and urbanization have led to disenchantment with politics and the erosion of political trust in many societies. Religion may continue to be salient, however, how these forces interact with enduring religious influences to shape political trust is unclear. This paper examines the issue using Asian Barometer Survey (2001–2016) data with hierarchical age–period–cohort (HAPC) models. Our results show supportive evidence for the following findings: in East and Southeast Asia, urbanization is associated with less political trust for most religions except Islam; education is associated with less political trust; education's effect is the most salient for the atheists and Buddhists, but it disappears among the Muslims. The findings suggest the power of modernization and secularization significantly differs across cultures and religions. We should not simply perceive religion as a universally conservative force; instead, we need to understand religions through an integrated macro‐micro perspective by situating it in the social contexts.

The study investigated the relevance of Environmental Adult Education in the prevention of habitat loss in selected Local Government Areas in Ogoni of Rivers State. The fact of deforestation agricultural practice industrialization and oil spill leading to habitat loss in Rivers State has raise questions of great concern to stakeholders particularly communities who have suffered species extinction. The purpose of this study is to find out the human activities that lead to habitat loss examine the adverse effects of habitat loss on the environment and man and determine ways through which environmental adult education can minimize the occurrence of habitat loss. Hence three objectives and one null hypothesis were used for this study. Survey research design was adopted questionnaires were used for data collection. Responses to the questionnaire were analyzed using mean and grand mean for all the research questions and Z-test for the hypothesis. The result of this study revealed that the Ogoni people are instrumental to the destruction of their God-given environment and the people that are involved in the act of deforestation bush burning oil spills carrying out bunkering business and practicing artisanal refining of crude oil which degrades the environment are mostly adults. It was recommended that there should massive environmental adult education to curb habitat loss and further environmental degradation.

Die Verfasserin gibt zunächst einen Überblick über die Abfolge der Minister für Bildung und Wissenschaft in der postkommunistischen Slowakei von Kovac (1989) über Pisut (1990), Kucera (1992), Kovac (1993) und Paska (1993) bis zur jetzigen Bildungsministerin Slavkovska (seit 1994). Sie stellt im folgenden die finanziellen Restriktionen dar, mit denen sich das gesamte slowakische Bildungswesen von der Grundschule bis zur Universität konfrontiert sieht und das zusammen mit dem gleichfalls finanziell bedingten "brain drain" aus dem Bildungssektor das zentrale Problem des slowakischen Bildungssystems darstellt. In diesem Zusammenhang wird auch der Lohnkonflikt im Bildungsbereich dargestellt. Es schließt sich eine kritische Auseinandersetzung mit der Bildungspolitik unter der Amtsführung Slavkovskas an, die durch politische Manöver und personelle Querelen gekennzeichnet ist. Als besonderes Problem der slowakischen Bildungspolitik wird abschließend die Frage der Schulbildung für die im Süden der Slowakei lebende ungarische Minderheit diskutiert. (BIOst-Wpt)
