The Sami author Matti Aikio from Karasjok made his debut in 1904 in Copenhagen with King Ahab. He was one of the world's earliest indigenous authors, and presented his first novel to the Norwegian public with In Hide in 1906. The last of a total of six novels was The Parish on the Riverbank, launched posthumously in 1929. In this article I present a post-colonial reading of this last novel of his. My hypothesis is that he wrote his first Norwegian novel anew, but this time social success amongst the Sami population is dependent upon the conduct of Sami culture. All of his novels reflect upon different strategies at hand for members of an ethnic minority in times of an advancing European industry, economy and culture, heavily influenced by a social-Darwinist political and anthropological cosmology. Being the first registered Sami student of Norway, while writing his novels in Norwegian, Matti Aikio developed skills as a master of mimicry. Having experienced the importance of hybridity, he studies the limits of mimicry in his novels. This is the main project of his literary work, and with tools from post-colonial literary theories, this essay discusses the author's attitudes to the possibilities of his own ethnic culture's survival in the future.

Knowledge about the cost of open access publishing is to a large extent incomplete today, but with a government directive to coordinate open access to research publications in Sweden, the National Library together with the main stakeholders, is backing international initiatives as OA2020 and LIBER for a swift transition to full open access. The following article attempts to describe the work of coordinating open access to research publications in Sweden, the role of the Swedish Bibsam Consortium in this process, and discusses aspects of current agreements containing open access components, especially offsetting deals. Further, it discusses future implications for strategies, negotiations and agreements in order to contribute to a conversion to full open access. However, this work cannot be carried out alone, but requires cooperation on a local, national, European and global level, including all relevant bodies and initiatives. The goal is the synergy and momentum which can be achieved by aligning existing policies, infrastructures and requirements which contribute towards realising a diverse, inclusive, innovative, sustainable and open scholarly system for the 21st century, one in which publicly funded research is not repurchased after publication but made immediately open access for the benefit of research, innovation, and society as a whole. ; A modern newspaper text fully reflects both changes in social, political and economical life and the language changes, which are especially important for linguistic research. "This article delves into the operationalization of collaborative problem-solving (CPS) skills, focusing on the essential aspects required to effectively apply CPS in the modern digital age. The article emphasizes the growing significance of CPS skills as technology-based work and the automation of routine tasks demand proficiency in addressing non-routine, complex challenges. To enable successful CPS, a new set of skills including information literacy, divergent thinking, and problem-solving, both individually and collaboratively, are explored. The article investigates the strategies and approaches employed by individuals and teams when engaging in collaborative problem solving, with an emphasis on knowledge sharing and skill pooling. The study highlights the criticality of CPS as an invaluable skill set, enabling individuals to effectively collaborate and overcome intricate problems. Moreover, as contemporary work environments increasingly rely on successful group problem solving, the significance of operationalizing CPS is expected to continue growing in the future. Keywords: collaborative problem solving, problem solving, PISA, literacy, Human-to-Human, Human-to-Agent, Twenty-first Century Skills."
