Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are crucial in economic growth and industrial diversification. Despite their importance, SMEs encounter challenges of intense competition, global market penetration, and rapid technological advancements. This study explores the factors affecting SME performance, focusing on entrepreneurial competence, leadership, and intention. A survey was conducted involving 400 SME respondents in East Java, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using a quantitative approach and the PLS-SEM method. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial competence and intention significantly influence entrepreneurial resilience and SME performance. Specifically, entrepreneurial competence has a path coefficient of 0.348 on entrepreneurial resilience and 0.567 on SME performance, both significant with p-value < 0.05. Entrepreneurial intention has a path coefficient of 0.649 on entrepreneurial resilience and –0.722 on SME performance, both significant with p-value < 0.05. These results highlight the necessity of enhancing entrepreneurial competencies and intentions to boost SMEs' resilience and performance. Entrepreneurs and policymakers should focus on training and development programs to reinforce these competencies and intentions, thereby promoting an environment that supports innovation and prudent risk-taking.

Lecturers have an essential role in achieving higher education goals. One of them is by being innovative in implementing learning. Currently, a severe problem for lecturers is developing innovative ideas and behavior. This study examines how the work environment of vocational lecturers influences innovative work behavior and self-efficacy. The sample comprised 361 vocational lecturers in East Java, Indonesia, who took part in an offline survey to collect the data. Using SmartPLS, the collected data were then examined. The results of the study show that transglobal leadership has a significant effect on creative self-efficacy with a t-statistic value of 6.893. Organizational culture also greatly influences innovative work behavior with a t-statistic of 5.507, and organizational culture significantly affects creative self-efficacy with a t-statistic of 2.048. In addition, creative self-efficacy significantly affects how innovative lecturers work with a t-statistic of 20.925. This study is relevant because it examines the relationship between transglobal leadership, organizational culture, creative self-efficacy, and innovative work behavior, which has not received much academic attention.

Entrepreneurial passion is the central pillar of running a business. Managers of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) must be passionate about recognizing their opportunities and enhancing their self-efficacy, self-leadership, and SME entrepreneurial intentions. This study aims to estimate whether entrepreneurial passion increases entrepreneurial intentions supported by self-efficacy and self-leadership in SMEs. The study population included 191,312 SMEs in East Java, Indonesia; the final sample comprises 334 SME actors determined by the Slovin formula. Data are processed through SmartPLS software and analyzed using the SEM approach. The test results show that entrepreneurial spirit positively affects self-efficacy, with a t-statistic value of 60.267. In addition, entrepreneurial passion positively affects entrepreneurial intentions, with a t-statistic value of 29.806. Entrepreneurial passion positively affects self-leadership with a t-statistic value of 7.502. Furthermore, self-efficacy positively affects entrepreneurial intentions with a t-statistic value of 3.438. Finally, self-leadership positively affects entrepreneurial intention with a t-statistic value of 2.295. In conclusion, this paper expands the relevant literature on the impact of entrepreneurial passion, self-efficacy, and self-leadership on entrepreneurial intention.

ABSTRAKPandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia tidak hanya berdampak pada kesehatan melainkan juga pada aspek perekonomian masyarakat. Hal ini mendorong pemerintah membuat kebijakan pemulihan ekonomi kepada masyarakat yaitu melalui program Jaring Pengaman Sosial (JPS). Dalam program JPS ini, pemerintah membagi menjadi dua jenis bantuan yaitu bantuan sosial reguler dan non reguler. Pelaksanaan penyaluran bantuan sosial bukan hal baru lagi bagi pemerintah pusat dan pemerintah daerah. Namun dalam penyalurannya selalu terjadi masalah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui prosedur penyaluran bantuan sosial di era pandemi Covid-19, kendala dalam penyaluran bantuan sosial di era pandemi Covid-19, dan solusi dalam mengatasi kendala dalam penyaluran bantuan sosial di era pandemi Covid-19 pada Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Blitar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam kepada beberapa informan. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 orang pihak Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Blitar dan 3 masyarakat penerima bantuan sosial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan penyaluran bantuan sosial masih memiliki kendala seperti sebagian bantuan tidak disalurkan tepat pada sasarannya karena masih ada masyarakat yang lebih layak mendapat bantuan namun tidak memperolehnya. Selain itu juga masih terdapat masyarakat yang kurang memahami tentang kriteria dan prosedur bantuan sosial serta ada sebagian masyarakat yang kurang memahami kondisi perekonomiannya.
