Today, the range of users of information is expanding, and it is becoming the object of interest not only of traditional consumers, i.e. information-analytical centers, the media and security agencies, but also members of society as a whole. Information-analytical activity is one of the important directions of practical activity of internal affairs bodies. The success of the task of maintaining public order and combating crime in the service area in many respects depends on the degree to which information and analytical activities are organized. The process of forming the "Information Society" has been going on for several years.

Abstract.The article outlines the prospects for improving the mechanism for ensuring the execution of laws in the internal affairs bodies. This includes the implementation of a wide range of political, economic, legal, organizational measures and legal monitoring throughout the country, the introduction of information and communication technologies and best practices in this area, the provision of the internal affairs bodies with qualified personnel, the openness of the activities of the internal affairs bodies, social partnership, legal awareness and legal culture, analyzed the relevant aspects and developed proposals and recommendations for the further improvement of this activity.

The article analyzes the current national legislation regulating the administrative and legal activities of the internal affairs bodies, provides the opinions of scientists who investigated the problems associated with the definition of legality and official discipline, examines their normative legal concept and features of the content in the administrative and legal activities of the internal affairs bodies.

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of training personnel for the internal affairs bodies of Donetsk Region in the second half of the 1960s. The authors highlight the issues of organising the educational process in special departmental educational institutions, namely, the functioning of collegial governing bodies in educational institutions, the specifics of recruiting applicants, practical training, as well as the features of educational work among personnel based on Marxist-Leninist ideology. The article also examines the issues of the implementation of professional training, internships, training courses, discloses the sources and forms of replenishment of militia units in the region.
