Political competition and social confrontation in Ukraine: causes, manifestations, catalysts. ; Політична конкуренція та суспільна конфронтація в Україні: причини, прояви, каталізатори

Abstract

The essence of political competition is revealed as one of the important characteristics of the quality of the democratic process. The multiparty system, the motives of political participation, the threatening consequences of political manipulation of social consciousness and social sentiment, and imbalances in the political system: institutional and functional manifestations are analyzed. It is alleged, on the basis of concrete examples, that today in our society there is a lack of obvious signs of the transition from confrontational confrontation to dialogue and compromise between interests. It turns out that the uneasy socio-economic situation, falling incomes, numerous mistakes of power in public policy and the implementation of key reforms have led to an increase in such phenomena as the decline in trust in leading political parties and the growth of support for frankly populist rhetoric. The emphasis is placed on the fact that the political process is constantly accompanied by crises, any serious political crisis immediately becomes a collective topic for discussion, and is included in the sphere of public political discourse. ; Розкрито сутність політичної конкуренції як однієї із вагомих характеристик якості демократичного процесу. Проаналізовано бангатопартійність, мотиви політичної участі, загрозливі наслідки політичного маніпулювання суспільною свідомістю та суспільними настроями, дисбаланси у політичній системі: інституціональний та функціональний прояви. Стверджується, на основі конкретних прикладів, що на сьогодні в нашому суспільстві бракує очевидних ознак переходу від конфронтаційного протистояння до діалогу та компромісу між інтересами. Доводиться, що непроста суспільно-економічна ситуація, падіння доходів населення, численні помилки влади в проведенні державної політики і здійсненні ключових реформ призвели до посилення таких явищ, як зниження довіри до провідних політичних партій і зростання підтримки відверто популістської риторики. Акцентовано увагу на тому, що політичний процес постійно супроводжується кризовими явищами, будь-яка серйозна політична криза одразу перетворюється на колективну тему для обговорення, включається у сферу загальносуспільного політичного дискурсу.
