55 69 18 1 ; OJS ; [EN] Nowadays, an important number of hydraulic work projects as dams, channels, desalination plants, storm tanks, power plants, etc. have being carried out worldwide however Spain is frequently, the framework to look at. In this paper, the main ongoing applied researches on hydraulic enginery field of dam engineering will be presented regarding both physical and numerical modeling.
