Conflicto israelo-palestino : estado de situación

Abstract

After the terrorist attacks of September 11, in the United States, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict reaches a new dimension as Osama bin Laden's ideological-religious alibi to attack the United States. This induces a greater emphasis on the study of the religious-cultural roots of the conflict, within the framework of the stalled peace process. At the same time, explains the strategy of the Labor sector that still follows Shimon Peres, to relaunch him from a government led by an adversary of the Oslo Accords. In this framework, the role of Palestinian organizations acting from dissent to the Palestinian Authority led by Yasser Arafat and their sympathy for bin Laden's actions must be considered. On the other hand, the September 11 attacks force a new vision of the role of the United States as a mediator or facilitator of the peace process. ; Tras los atentados terroristas del 11 de septiembre, en los Estados Unidos, el conflicto israelo-palestino alcanza una nueva dimensión en cuanto coartada ideológico-religiosa de Osama bin Laden para atacar a los Estados Unidos. Esto induce un mayor énfasis en el estudio de las raíces religioso-culturales del conflicto, en el marco del estancado proceso de paz. Al mismo tiempo, explica la estrategia del sector laborista que aún sigue a Shimon Peres, para relanzarlo desde un gobierno liderado por un adversario de los Acuerdos de Oslo. En este marco, debe contemplarse el rol de las organizaciones palestinas que actúan desde la disidencia a la Autoridad Palestina liderado por Yasser Arafat y su simpatía por las acciones de bin Laden. De otra parte, los atentados del 11 de septiembre obligan a una nueva visión sobre el rol de los Estados Unidos en cuanto mediador o facilitador del proceso de paz.
