This publication contains the full text of the "Report of the Secretary-General on the Establishment, within the OAU, of a Mechanism for Conflict Prevention, Management and Resolution". The Report was adopted in the thirtieth year of the OAU by the Assembly of Heads of State and Government on 29 June, 1993, during its Twenty-ninth Ordinary Session, held from 28 to 30 June, 1993 in Cairo, Egypt.
