This study examines Nigeria's weapons acquisition and addresses the following issues: (1) the domestic foundations of Nigeria's security policy; (2) the history and analysis of Nigeria's weapons procurement pattern; (3) the direction and growth of the weapons production; and (4) the future of Nigeria's defence policy.
