Defeat in Chad: Turning point for Qaddafi?

Abstract

The article speculates on the repercussions, which Libya's defeats at Wadi Doum and Faya-Largeau in northern Chad might have on Gaddafi's regime and his own political conduct. The conclusion is, that in the light of the country's economic difficulties, administrative chaos and continuing war, Gaddafi will have little other option than cosmetic changes. (DÜI-Asd)
