Abstract
In the endless debates about loans for Greece and a possible Grexit the foreign and security policy dimension remains before completely outside. We address this deficiency with an emphasis on this issue. The contributions that Greece saw itself as a bridge between East and West, and because of its good relations with countries in the Balkans and the Middle East may now be a key player in Southeast Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean. From this perspective, can neither the EU nor NATO an interest in the 'exit' of Greece. The good relations between Greece and Russia, which currently draw lots conjectures about an unfair approach, are religious and cultural reasons and are in turn conceived as an opportunity to convey can in Ukraine crisis.
