Abstract

The holding of the climate conference in South Africa has left its traces: promoted by international NGOs, foundations and other donors, local organisations for the first time worked specifically on the issue of 'climate'. It can be constituted that the framing of climate issues has changed after the conference: while organisations focused on mobilising protests and the conference as an occasion for protest before and during the conference, they have been more concerned with locally anchoring the subject climate since the beginning of 2012. In so doing, they link ecologic with social issues. Adapted from the source document
