Polen und die Sicherheits- und Verteidigungspolitik der Europaischen Union
In: Welt-Trends: das außenpolitische Journal, Band 23, Heft 100, S. 50-58
Abstract
After obtaining full sovereignty in the years 1989/1990 Poland had long time no influence on the design of the security and defense policy of the European Union. Initially skeptical, Poland supports today the ESDP active. Poland participates in the EU rapid intervention force and participates in civil-military vehicle use. The objective of Poland is to realize the division of responsibilities between the ESDP, which is to serve the conflict resolution, and NATO as an instrument of collective military defense.
