Examines political interpretation of history in post-1990 Romania in context of right-wing attempts to rehabilitate General Ion Antonescu; outlines crimes committed under Prime Minister Antonescu during World War II, the Iasi pogrom, mass murders in Bessarabia, Ukraine, and Bukovina, deportations of Jews and Roma, Antonescu's process and death sentence, and supporters and opponents of his cult.
