Mobile pre hospital attendance: identification aggravations for the elderly person

Objective: investigate the major health disorders that affect the elderly population in the ambit of mobile pre hospital in João Pessoa-PB city. Method: documental research, quantitative in 240 medical records of elderly with 75,5±9,5 years, being 54,6% (131) female, attended by the respective service. Data were collected by means of a semi structured questionnaire, in September 2012. Results: It was verified that 69,2% (166) of the occurrences were clinics; 18,8% (45) occurrence of falls at the same level; 9,6% (23) essential hypertension. Conclusion: It is hoped that this study can consubstantiate specific intervention measures directed to the assistance for the elderly, a way for the promotion of health, implementation of prevention actions of these occurrences, since most of them may be prevented.
O Édipo de Foucault não é o de Freud

O Édipo, como o homem que sabia demais, era por isso o homem da ignorância. Foucault, diferente de Freud, estabelece um Édipo historicizado no tempo da passagem da forma jurídica do "regime de provas" à do "sistema de inquérito", culminando no que chamou de o "exame" – nome lacônico que dá às ciências humanas. Porém, não há como mencionar a tragédia sofocliana sem tocar na hermenêutica psicanalítica, e sobre isso Foucault é implacável: a Psicanálise é um dispositivo discursivo de poder, uma ciência disciplinar, contendora do desejo. Mas a Psicanálise não deve ser emparelhada à Psiquiatria, por exemplo. A "razão" freudiana reside justamente numa tensão paradoxal entre dar voz à singularidade e, ao mesmo tempo, reafirmar universais históricos da cultura. Édipo não é uma nosografia, mas o que detém um "saber que não se sabe": o do inconsciente. Se ele é o homem do inconsciente em Freud, em Foucault ele será o da ignorância. Nisso, ambos se confluem: o homem moderno para sempre está "dissolvido".
Burnout syndrome in nursing professionals from urgency and emergency services

Objective: analyzing how scientific studies describe Burnout syndrome in nurses of urgent and emergency services. Method: an integrative literature review conducted by databases BDENF, IBECS, LILACS, MEDLINE and SciELO, through descriptors: burnout and nursing. From the 3087 selected publications for descriptors, only 11 articles met the criteria for inclusion and exclusion. Results: among the selected articles, 07 dealt with the stress; 04 spoke of the quality of life and leisure; 01 approached about somatic symptoms associated with Burnout and 03 detailing on Burnout syndrome, addressing the predictors and symptom dimensions in accordance with the Maslach Burnout Inventory. Conclusion: this study is important for population, professionals and managers acquire knowledge about the syndrome and may contribute to the development of coping strategies that will minimize the risk of triggering Burnout.
A group dynamic as a strategy for teaching-learning in a nursing management course

Objective: To describe and evaluate the participation of academics and identify their perception about the importance of group dynamics for learning Nursing Management. Method: A qualitative and exploratory approach. The data were collected in the School of Nursing of the Federal Fluminense University, through a questionnaire. The subjects are 31 academicians of the 6th period, in the discipline of Management in Health Care I, in the second half of 2011, after approval by the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine of the same university, under N. 162/11. Results: Three thematic categories: Group dynamics as a strategy for teamwork, as an interaction strategy and as a teaching-learning strategy. Conclusion: The dynamics contributed to the team work as well as to the interaction with the teachers, for the understanding the discipline taught, reflecting the importance of this strategy in nursing education.
