Seagrasses are valuable ecosystem service providers playing a major role in the structure and functioning of costal and marine environments. They support fisheries production, aquatic biodiversity refuge, climate change mitigation, erosion limitation, water oxygenation, and nutrient and pollutants load moderation. Yet, their accelerating loss rates due to direct and indirect human activities suggest a global crisis compromising the bundle of their vital benefits. There is strong incentive within the conservation movement to flatten the curve of seagrass decline and protect this keystone component of coastal environments throughout the world. Primary challenges for seagrass conservation consist in informing on their status and increase recognition of their importance. Although understanding of the functioning of seagrass ecosystems, their services and the way they respond to stressors has improved over the last years, they are unknown and underappreciated in Morocco with an overlooked status within the conservation plans. The present thesis global objective was, (i) to investigate the potential use of Zostera noltei Hornemann and Cymodocea nodosa (Ucria) Ascherson in the Moroccan costal monitoring programs of trace element contamination, and (ii) to provide the first in-depth characterization of C. nodosa at Al Hoceima National Park and Zostera marina Linnaeus at Jbel Moussa with an insight into proactive measures for seagrass management and conservation. The assessment of Z. noltei seagrass leaves accumulation capacity of 23 trace elements along the Atlantic latitudinal climatic gradient (Moulay Bousselham lagoon, Sidi Moussa lagoon, Oualidia lagoon, Khnifiss lagoon and Dakhla bay) revealed that Z. noltei leaves are a useful bioindicator of Cd, Mo, Sb, Ag, Zn, U, Al, Fe, Mn, Ba and Hg contamination in sediments. From Marchica lagoon, the only lagoon on the Mediterranean coast, C. nodosa leaves and roots performed equally as good bioindicators of Cu and Cd in sediment whereas leaves are considered as the best bioindicator for Zn contamination and roots for Pb load. The structural development and the population dynamics of C. nodosa in Al Hoceima National Park detected a net regression of the meadows that were at the last rang values of growth parameters recorded elsewhere. At Jbel Moussa, the status of the deepest Z. marina meadows in the Mediterranean (lower limit at -17 m in depth with patches extending up to -20 m), shifted over only four years, from the good physiological, morphological and biochemical state to a dramatically total destruction by the combined effect of warming, trawling, and invasion by Rugulopteryx okamurae (E.Y. Dawson) I.K. Hwang, W.J. Lee and H.S. Kim. This habitat change induced a significant extinction of soft bottom amphipods communities up to 70% of the total variation. The present work provide a proof of evidence of seagrass meadows fundamental role in supporting the costal environment health, and strengthen their widespread degradation and loss. It represents an essential synthesis to create awareness among the national managers, policymakers and the public about the importance of seagrasses to include them in the conservation agenda and management plans before that they disappear without even to be reported in our coast. ; Les herbiers à phanérogames marine procurent de précieux services écosystémiques et jouent un rôle clé dans la structuration et le fonctionnement des environnements côtiers et marins. Ils soutiennent la production halieutique ainsi que l'atténuation du changement climatique, mais aussi fournissent des refuges pour la biodiversité aquatique, limitent l'érosion, participent dans l'oxygénation des eaux et aussi la modération de la charge en nutriments et en polluants. Néanmoins, leur taux de disparition accéléré, dû aux activités humaines directes et indirectes, suggère une crise globale compromettant l'ensemble de leurs bénéfices vitaux. Des efforts de conservation vigoureux sont déployés dans le monde entier afin d'infléchir la courbe du déclin et protéger cette composante cruciale de l'environnement côtier et marin. Les principaux défis pour la conservation de ces écosystèmes consistent à informer sur leur statut et à sensibiliser sur leur importance. Bien que la compréhension de leur fonctionnement, leurs services écologiques et leurs réponses aux perturbateurs soit améliorée au cours des dernières années, ils demeurent méconnus et sous-estimés au Maroc avec un statut négligé dans les plans de conservation. L'objectif global de la présente thèse était (i) d'étudier l'utilisation potentielle de Zostera noltei Hornemann et Cymodocea nodosa (Ucria) Ascherson dans les programmes de surveillance marocains de la contamination par les éléments traces, et (ii) de fournir la première caractérisation approfondie de C. nodosa au Parc National d'Al Hoceima et de Zostera marina Linnaeus à Jbel Moussa, avec un aperçu sur les mesures proactives pour leur gestion et conservation. L'évaluation de la capacité d'accumulation de 23 éléments traces par les feuilles de Z. noltei au niveau de cinq écosystèmes semi-fermés le long du gradient climatique latitudinal de l'Atlantique marocain (lagune de Moulay Bousselham, lagune de Sidi Moussa, lagune de Oualidia, lagune de Khnifiss et baie de Dakhla) a révélé que les feuilles de Z. noltei sont un bioindicateur efficace de la contamination des sédiments par Cd, Mo, Sb, Ag, Zn, U, Al, Fe, Mn, Ba et Hg. Dans la lagune de Marchica, la seule lagune de la côte méditerranéenne du Maroc, les feuilles et les racines de C. nodosa ont montré une performance similaire en tant que bioindicateurs du Cu et du Cd dans les sédiments, tandis que les feuilles sont considérées comme le meilleur bioindicateur de la contamination par le Zn et les racines pour la charge en Pb. L'étude du développement structurel et de la dynamique des populations de C. nodosa dans le Parc National d'Al Hoceima a révélé une nette régression de ces herbiers, avec des valeurs de croissance très faibles en comparaison avec d'autres régions. A Jbel Moussa, le statut des herbiers de Z. marina, les plus profonds de la Méditerranée (limite inférieure à -17 m de profondeur avec des taches s'étendant jusqu'à -20 m), a changé en seulement quatre ans, passant d'un bon état physiologique, morphologique et biochimique à une destruction totale et dramatique sous l'effet combiné du réchauffement, du chalutage et de l'invasion par Rugulopteryx okamurae (E.Y. Dawson) I.K. Hwang, W.J. Lee and H.S. Kim. Ce changement d'habitat a entraîné une extinction significative des communautés d'amphipodes allant jusqu'à 70% de la variation totale. Le présent travail confirme le rôle fondamental des herbiers marins dans le maintien du bon état de santé de l'environnement côtier et témoigne de leur vaste dégradation et disparition. Il représente une synthèse de base pour sensibiliser les gestionnaires, les décideurs politiques et le grand public à l'importance des herbiers marins afin de les intégrer dans les plans de gestion et conservation avant qu'ils ne disparaissent sans même être signalés sur nos côtes. ; Las praderas de fanerógamas marinas proporcionan una gran cantidad de servicios ecosistémicos y juegan un papel clave en la estructura y funcionamiento de los ecosistemas costeros. Promueven la producción de recursos pesqueros, sirven de refugio para la biodiversidad, mitigan el cambio climático, limitan la erosión costera, contribuyen a la oxigenación del agua y a reducir los niveles de nutrientes y contaminantes. La elevada tasa de pérdida que han sufrido, directa o indirectamente causadas por actividades humanas, es indicadora de una crisis global que compromete los beneficios esenciales que ofrecen este tipo de ecosistemas. Hay una determinación dentro del movimiento conservacionista para revertir la tendencia de pérdida y proteger estos elementos clave de los ambientes costeros a lo largo del mundo. Los desafíos principales para la conservación de las praderas marinas son informar sobre su estatus de conservación y potenciar el reconocimiento de su importancia. Aunque el conocimiento del funcionamiento de estos ecosistemas, los servicios que proporcionan y la forma cómo responden a determinados estresores ha aumentado en los últimos años, aún son desconocidos y poco valorados en Marruecos, soslayando su estatus e importancia en los planes de conservación y gestión. El objetivo principal de esta tesis ha sido, (i) investigar el uso potencial de Zostera noltei Hornemann y Cymodocea nodosa (Ucria) Ascherson en los programas de monitorización costera de diversos contaminantes en Marruecos, y (ii) proporcionar la primera caracterización detallada de C. nodosa en el Parque Nacional de Alhucemas y de Zostera marina Linnaeus en la zona de Jbel Moussa, con atención a medidas proactivas para la gestión y conservación de las praderas. El análisis de la capacidad de acumulación de 23 elementos traza en las hojas de Z. noltei a lo largo de un gradiente latitudinal (laguna de Moulay Bousselham, laguna Sidi Moussa, laguna Oualidia, laguna Khnifiss y bahía de Dakhla) indicaron que las hojas de Z. noltei son bioindicadores útiles de contaminación por Cd, Mo, Sb, Ag, Zn, U, Al, Fe, Mn, Ba y Hg en sedimentos. En la laguna de Marchica, la única laguna costera de la costa mediterránea marroquí, las hojas y raíces de C. nodosa también mostraron ser buenos bioindicadores de Cu y Cd en sedimento, mientras que las hojas se consideraron mejores bioindicadores de la contaminación por Zn, y las raíces de contaminación por Pb. El desarrollo estructural y la dinámica poblacional de C. nodosa en el Parque Nacional de Alhucemas indicaron una regresión neta de las praderas estudiadas, que mostraron un crecimiento dentro del rango más bajo registrado a nivel mundial. En Jbel Moussa, el estatus de la pradera más profunda de Z. marina registrada en el Mediterráneo (límite inferior a 17 m con parches extendiéndose hasta los 20 m), varió en tan solo cuatro años desde un buen estado fisiológico, morfológico y bioquímico hasta una destrucción total debido al posible efecto combinado del calentamiento global, la pesca de arrastre y la invasión por el alga Rugulopteryx okamurae (E.Y. Dawson) I.K. Hwang, W.J. Lee y H.S. Kim. Este cambio en el hábitat provocó una extinción significativa de las comunidades de anfípodos del sedimento (hasta un 70% de variación total). El presente trabajo proporciona una evidencia del papel que juegan las praderas de fanerógamas en mantener la salud de los ecosistemas costeros y del impacto de su pérdida y degradación. Representa también una síntesis relevante para generar conciencia entre los gestores nacionales, los políticos y el público sobre la importancia de las praderas, con el objetivo de incluirlas en la agenda de conservación y en los planes de gestión antes que desaparezcan, en algunos casos sin haber sido siquiera estudiadas o detectadas.

With English universally considered as lingua franca, and with the increasing amount of English being spoken in education, business, medicine, technology, government policy, and public affairs around the world, it is natural that an expansion of variations of the English language follows. The phenomenon turns the world into a global village and makes communication more accessible, especially if intelligibility is taken into account. Intelligibility, the degree to which a listener can understand a speaker's speech, is essential for effective communication and should be the objective of the second language (L2) learning and teaching. One of the elements of intelligibility is pronunciation. The way teachers pronounce words impacts students' comprehension. Furthermore, studies suggest that pronunciation is the make-it-or-break-it component for effective conversations. The book "Intelligibility, Oral Communication, and the Teaching of Pronunciation" by John Levis (2018) provides concepts, reminders, and new approaches to teaching the second language and emphasizes the importance of pronunciation instruction. It also shows how the crucial findings of relevant research in the field inform teachers about what should and should not practice in an intelligibility-based classroom. It addresses the practical aspects of teaching and the factors necessary for effective communication when learning a second language. In terms of organization, the book started with an introduction and was followed by four sections: a framework for teaching spoken language; word-based errors and intelligibility; discourse-based errors and intelligibility; and teaching and research approaches to intelligibility. Furthermore, these sections are subdivided into ten chapters. Section I consists of two chapters that conceptualize the relationship between pronunciation and intelligibility and the relationship between intelligibility and communication. This part also asserts that the ultimate goal of pronunciation teaching should be to make the speaker understandable rather than produce a native-like accent. Chapter 1, "Intelligibility, Comprehensibility, and Spoken Language", defines the key terms used throughout the book. Intelligibility refers to a listener's ability to understand a speaker, whereas comprehensibility measures how easy something is to understand (Chan, 2021). However, spoken language is the utterance itself. Chapter 2, "Priorities: What Teachers and Researchers Say", discusses the priorities in teaching and learning pronunciation using an intelligibility-based approach: what characteristics should be emphasized, what should be taught, and what should not be taught. The author presents three reasons why the practice of intelligibility-oriented approach is recommended: English is the universal language franca; not all English speakers have a native-like accent; effective communication is its aim. This chapter also discusses relevant studies and existing recommendations in teaching pronunciation that may serve as a basis for future researchers. Section II, "Word-based errors and Intelligibility", consists of three chapters that explore intelligibility and English language word-based pronunciation features. Word-based pronunciation features influence intelligibility the most. We sometimes have difficulties identifying, processing, and understanding the word said by other speakers. This circumstance is likely to occur with nonnative speakers of the English language, in which uttering is unnatural English words is different from uttering words in their native language. Each chapter of this section presents various word-based pronunciation features. Chapter 3, "Segmentals and Intelligibility" discusses phonemes and allophones, which are frequently uttered incorrectly by second-language speakers; thus, interferes intelligibility on the part of the listeners. Chapter 4, "Consonant Clusters and Intelligibility" focuses on the complexity of the English language in terms of consonant clusters and grammatical morphemes, such as past tense inflections (e.g., -ed, -t, -d) and their effect on intelligibility. Second language learners often mispronounce consonant clusters due to the unfamiliarity of the language. The book argues that the consonant cluster mispronunciations are more alarming for the speaker's intelligibility than individual consonant mispronunciations. The author illustrates that consonant clusters are adjusted into speakers' native language systems, specifically into vowel epenthesis (when some Spanish speakers say sC words with an initial vowel: eschool for school; and espeak for speak) or deletions of sounds (such as when some Vietnamese speakers say cas instead of clasps). Changing the expected syllable structure is likely to influence intelligibility, so it is vital to consider specific consonant cluster pronunciation. This section is concluded with Chapter 5, "Word Stress and Intelligibility" which is about the role of word stress on intelligibility and teaching pronunciation. The author shows that stress-related mispronunciations are more alarming than segmental mispronunciations regarding the intelligibility among the listeners. Although segmental and lexical-stress errors might not negatively affect word recognition, some second language learners may perceive the mispronounced stress of words differently, such as the noun OBject and the verb obJECT. Section III, "Discourse-Based Errors and Intelligibility" consists of two chapters that address the effects of discourse-based errors on intelligibility. Pronunciation may not affect word recognition negatively, but in some way, it impacts the overall message or perceived message of a listener. Specifically, how pronunciation in terms of rhythm and intonation contain this section. Chapter 6, "Rhythm and Intelligibility" describes the concept of rhythm (including speech rate, fluency, and connected speech) and its connection to intelligibility. The author mentioned that he had not wanted to write this chapter but was influenced that the elements related to rhythm, such as connected speech, may not be related to production but are vital for speaker perception. Rhythm assists the listeners in receiving, processing, and organizing each linguistic unit produced by the speaker. Chapter 7, "Intonation and Intelligibility: The Roles of Prominence and Tune" examines the importance of prominence and tone for pragmatics and social interaction. Prominence is when we give more emphasis to some parts of a major grammatical unit than others. On the other hand, the tune is "the pitch movement from the first syllable to the phrase's end" (p. 171). The book demonstrates how incorrect prominence and intonation patterns interfere with intelligibility or even cause unintended insults. The placements of prominence and tune on phrases depend on how information is arranged in speech. Since there are no definite rules regarding the placement of prominence and tune on grammatical units on a text, speakers and listeners must consider contextualization and familiarity to improve intelligibility. The author concluded this chapter by stressing the need to include an intonation-based way of teaching pronunciation, in addition to word-based and sentence-based practices of teaching pronunciation. The last section of the book, Section IV, "Teaching and Research Approaches to Intelligibility" consists of three chapters that conclude all the key concepts on the first three sections of the book and addresses its' relationship with teaching specifically, using the intelligibility-centered approach. In Chapter 8, "Teaching for Intelligibility: Guidelines for Setting Priorities" the author provided a list of principles for intelligibility-based teaching. These principles provide guidelines for selecting teaching/learning content that can be adapted to various contexts. Chapter 9, "The Intelligibility-Based Classroom" explores the role of the intelligibility-based approach in language teaching. It supports the adaptation of the approach and provides realistic pronunciation teaching recommendations. The author also critiques the nativeness approach in second language teaching, emphasizing drills and traditional pronunciation exercises to develop native-like pronunciation. The goal of second language learning is cannot and does not have to speak like a native; all that is necessary is intelligibility. Finally, Chapter 10, "What Should and Should Not Be Taught: An Intelligibility-Based Approach," presents "what-to-dos" associated with planning and implementing pronunciation teaching. Teachers must not be selective, rather be adaptive in their approaches to teaching pronunciation. They must base the approaches on researches and experience. Additionally, the author recommends "more important" (e.g., initial consonant clusters) and "less important" (e.g., medial consonants cluster) suggestions for intelligibility-centered pronunciation teaching. This chapter discusses practical methods that second language educators can use to teach language in general and pronunciation in particular. John Levis' (2018) book "Intelligibility, Oral Communication, and the Teaching of Pronunciation" is a timely, user-friendly, and practical book that caters overview of knowledge and approaches in second language teaching to foster intelligibility. It showcases the existing practice of pronunciation teaching reinforced by relevant studies. It promotes the adaption of the intelligibility approach that focuses on understanding and comprehension rather than native-like fluency with these traditional practices. The book outlines guidelines for planning and implementing the intelligibility approach. The author derives research findings and implications into helpful strategies teachers can use in teaching pronunciation. For example, the third section shows how intonation and prominence are "heavily implicated in the loss of intelligibility" (p. 2) and might be an eye-opener for educators and interest in future research. Moreover, the book is easy to understand because of the language use and well-described technical terms that facilitate understanding. This book can be more practical if the guidelines for the intelligibility approach include a chapter that discusses pronunciation assessment and provides a list of specific classroom tasks teachers can facilitate in an intelligibility-centered classroom. However, the author clarifies that the book would not provide this part and suffices it by referring readers to a reference that addresses this topic. Another content that can make the book more comprehensive is a chapter dedicated to how individual differences affect second language pronunciation learning. Factors such as age, sex, motivation, beliefs, personality, culture, learning style, and autonomy contribute to learners' individuality (Griffiths & Soruc, 2021). This book, with comprehensive concepts on pronunciation and intelligibility concerning the second language, is recommended for teachers, students, and researchers interested in the development of communication skills of English as second language learners. Educational practitioners and linguists will be informed of the language trends, which can be used as a reference for future studies. While native-like speaking is generally considered standard, readers will recognize that intelligibility is more important, particularly for second language learners.

For more than two decades, Burundi has experienced a resurgence of interest in agricultural cooperatives following the appeal of humanitarian partners aiming to reorient their intervention. In the regard, the Government has given a higher priority to the development of food crops to ensure the supply of the population from national productions. Considering its historical situation of recurring food insecurity, the province of Ngozi has since had a proliferation of agricultural cooperatives around food crops, as well as cash crops, mainly coffee. Most of them are involved in access to low-cost agricultural inputs, markets, agricultural micro-credits, natural resources, training and information. The objective of this study was to assess the impact of food crops cooperatives on the living conditions of rural households in Burundi, particularly in the province of Ngozi. The realization of this study covering a period from 2016 to 2019 combines three methods such as the documentary exploitation, surveys and interviews with different actors of the cooperative movement of Busiga and Gashikanwa communes in Ngozi province. The fist survey was conducted on 90 members randomly selected in cooperatives of three main organizations present in each commune. The second survey was carried out on a comparison group of 60 non-members, who were selected by using the purposive sampling technique in the same social group and geographical area as cooperatives' members. This study highlights various services offered by cooperatives to their members and to the surrounding community. Depending on their size, cooperatives are a preferred channel for supplying agricultural inputs and learning new farming techniques. The valuation of production (storage, processing, sale and inventory credit) is part of their concern. Facing the challenge to get agricultural financing, the cooperatives are innovating alternatives for accessing small loans. Under of mutual solidarity, members organize a kind of community health insurance. For some, cooperative members benefit from regular training on hygiene, small entrepreneurship, environmental protection, peaceful cohabitation, etc. Regarding of the impact assessment, the analysis shows that cooperatives have effects on the majority of aspects of the living conditions of their members. At the production level, the statistical test shows a significant difference in the yields of bananas between the two groups (p = 0.075) at the significance level of 10%. The impact corresponds to an average yield increase of 640 kg / ha per member household. Considering that the banana is an important crop in consumption and especially in commercialization; the increase in its production brings relatively high income to households, especially in member's. In the process, the storage also allowed the cooperative members to have a capital gain on the production and an inventory credit. Regarding of the livestock, the impact is estimated at an average increase of 0.40 cattle and 0.46 goats per household of members. This situation expresses a great opportunity for fertilization, a social esteem and a wealth with an average value of 160,000 BIF (cattle) and 46,000 BIF (goat) The comparative analysis reveals a significant difference between the average amounts of loans taken out by the two groups. The average difference of 28,500 BIF would therefore constitute an impact induced by membership in cooperatives. Regarding of the habitat, the difference is significant for the quality of materials of the walls, access to safe water and the quality of latrines. Indeed, the impact corresponds to a 13% decrease in the level of possession of houses whose walls are built with wood covered of mud, a 9% decrease in the level of unsafe water consumption and a 7% increase in the level of possession of fitted latrines among members. In this respect, members appear less exposed to precarious hygienic conditions than non-members. In addition, the mutual health insurance within the cooperative offers them financial and physical accessibility to health care. The difference is also significant in the number of houses owned by households. The impact obtained is 0.5 houses corresponding to an additional number of houses owned by a household of cooperators. In relation to the equipment of the house, the impact appears in the possession of the cupboard and the dining room. An additional house and the possession of "complementary" equipment would enhance the comfort of a household. For the other material means, the impact appears in the possession of the bicycle and the radio in the households of the members. The bicycle plays a major role in the speed and cost of activities carried out in the households and the radio allows them to be constantly informed. The analysis of early school leaving reveals an impact corresponding to an average decrease of 0.15 school dropouts in member households. Although the difference is small, the 15% drop in eating just one meal per day among the low-income group could also be an impact. Coming out of the crisis, the cooperatives have succeeded in gathering together people living on the same hills around a common ideal. The social harmony observed in farmers' cooperatives studied is reflected in mutual aid in many situations. ; Depuis plus de deux décennies, le Burundi a connu un regain d'intérêt pour les coopératives agricoles à la suite de l'appel des partenaires humanitaires visant à réorienter leur intervention face à la dégradation des conditions de vie de la population rurale. Dans la foulée, le gouvernement a accordé une très haute priorité au développement des cultures vivrières pour assurer l'approvisionnement de la population à partir des productions nationales. Au regard de sa situation historique d'insécurité alimentaire récurrente, la province de Ngozi a dès lors subi un foisonnement des coopératives agricoles autour des cultures vivrières. La majorité des coopératives sont impliquées dans l'appui à la production, l'accès et la gestion des intrants, le stockage, la transformation, l'accès au crédit, la mutualisation de l'assurance-santé et la recherche des marchés. L'objectif de cette étude était d'évaluer l'impact des coopératives agricoles des cultures vivrières sur les conditions de vie des ménages ruraux au Burundi, notamment dans la province de Ngozi. Cette étude qui s'étend sur une période de 2016 à 2020, a privilégié l'approche terrain par la réalisation d'enquêtes auprès des paysans membres des coopératives et ceux n'appartenant à aucune organisation paysanne et d'entretiens formels et informels avec les divers acteurs de la coopération agricole. Les enquêtes ont été conduites dans un premier temps sur un échantillon de 90 membres aléatoirement choisis dans six coopératives de cette province, spécialement dans deux communes, Busiga et Gashikanwa, et dans un deuxième temps, sur un groupe témoin de 60 non-membres sélectionnés dans le même groupe social que les premiers. Cette étude met en lumière les services offerts par les coopératives à leurs membres et dans une certaine mesure à la communauté environnante. En fonction de leur taille, elles constituent un canal privilégié pour l'approvisionnement en intrants agricoles et l'apprentissage de nouvelles techniques culturales. La valorisation de la production (stockage, transformation, vente et warrantage) fait partie de leurs préoccupations. Face aux défis de l'accès au financement agricole, les coopératives innovent des alternatives d'accès aux petits crédits. Avec la solidarité mutuelle, qui est d'ailleurs le socle de la coopération, les membres se cotisent pour constituer un dispositif d'assurance santé communautaire. Les coopérateurs bénéficient aussi des formations sur l'hygiène, le petit entrepreneuriat, la protection de l'environnement, etc. Dans l'évaluation de l'impact, les résultats montrent que les coopératives exercent des effets sur la majorité des aspects de conditions de vie de leurs membres. Au niveau de la production, le test statistique montre un écart significatif des rendements (kg/ha) de la banane entre les deux groupes (p = 0,075) au seuil de 10%. L'impact correspond à une augmentation moyenne du rendement de 640 kg/ha par ménage des membres. Vu que la banane est une culture importante dans la consommation et surtout dans la commercialisation, l'augmentation de sa production apporte un revenu relativement élevé. Dans la foulée, le stockage permet aux coopérateurs de bénéficier d'une plus-value de la production et d'obtenir un crédit warrantage. Pour ce qui est de l'élevage, l'impact s'évalue à une augmentation moyenne de 0,40 bovin et de 0,46 caprin par ménage des membres. Cette situation dénote une détention de richesse (épargne en nature) d'une valeur moyenne de 160.000 Fbu (bovin) et 46.000 Fbu (caprin); ce qui leur confère également une forte estime sociale et une grande opportunité d'acquisition de fumier relativement plus importante. L'analyse comparative révèle un écart significatif entre les montants moyens de crédits contractés par les deux groupes. L'écart moyen de 28.500 Fbu constituerait donc un impact induit par l'adhésion dans les coopératives. En ce qui concerne l'habitat, l'écart est significatif pour la qualité des matériaux des murs, l'accès à l'eau potable et la nature des latrines. En effet, l'impact correspond à une baisse de 13% du niveau de possession des maisons à murs en pisés, une diminution de 9% du niveau de consommation d'eau non potable et une augmentation de 7% du niveau de possession de latrines aménagées chez les membres. Si bien que l'écart n'est pas significatif pour la nature du sol, le niveau de possession des maisons en terres battues est en baisse de 9% au profit des sols cimentés. A cet égard, les membres paraissent moins exposés aux risques d'accident et aux conditions d'hygiène précaires que les non-membres. De plus, la mutualisation de l'assurance maladie au sein de la coopérative leur offre une accessibilité financière et physique aux soins de santé relativement élevée. L'écart est aussi significatif quant au nombre de maisons en possession dans les ménages. L'impact obtenu est de 0,5 maison correspondant à un supplément de maisons possédé par un ménage des coopérateurs. En rapport avec les équipements de la maison, l'impact apparaît dans la possession de l'armoire et de la salle à manger. Une maison supplémentaire et la possession des équipements dits « complémentaires » permettent de renforcer le confort d'un ménage. En rapport avec la possession d'autres moyens matériels, l'impact apparait dans la détention du vélo et de la radio dans les ménages des membres. Le vélo joue un rôle majeur au niveau de la rapidité et du coût des activités exercées dans le foyer et la radio leur permet d'être constamment informés. L'analyse du décrochage scolaire révèle un impact correspondant à une diminution moyenne de 0,15 abandon scolaire dans les ménages des membres. Quoi que l'écart soit minime, la baisse de 15% dans la prise d'un seul repas par jour dans le groupe des membres de la catégorie à faible revenu pourrait aussi constituer un impact. À la sortie de la crise, les coopératives ont réussi à rassembler des personnes vivant sur les mêmes collines autour d'un idéal commun. L'harmonie sociale observée dans les coopératives étudiées se traduit par l'entraide dans de nombreuses situations.

Kollektiv transport er en særdeles udbredt og velkendt måde, at sikre transportmæssig sammenhæng for den brede befolkning i både byer og købstæder. Selv i landområder giver det god mening i det mindste at tilbyde nogle strategiske rejseveje, som forbindes og suppleres med mere behovsstyret transporttilbud. At få flere mennesker til, at anvende de kollektive transportmidler anses bredt, både politisk og videnskabeligt, for at kunne reducere antallet af ture i særligt personbiler og bl.a. kunne frigøre plads i hårdt pressede byer med stor daglig trængsel, som resulterer i mange spildte timer på vejene hver dag. Desuden er det et helt centralt initiativ for at nå de klimamål som bl.a. EU og FN har fastsat og dermed gennemføre den grønne omstilling af transportområdet. For at understøtte denne omstilling er det nødvendigt, at den kollektive transport bliver mere attraktiv og kan konkurrere med de fordele, en personbil tilbyder. Der er mange kritikpunkter at adressere, f.eks. rejsetid, tilgængelighed, komfort og god og præcis rejseinformation. Disse skal hver især løbende adresseres og forbedres, for at kollektiv transport kan blive, og ikke mindst forblive, et relevant, konkurrencedygtigt og grønt alternativ til personbiler. Denne ph.d.-afhandling omhandler særligt forbedring af rejseinformation, mere specifikt præcise og robuste prognoser for ankomst- og afgangstider for busser, som bl.a. deler vejbaner med den øvrige transport, og derfor naturligt er svære at forudsige. Desuden behandles andre emner også, som kan være med til at adressere flere af de øvrige punkter, herunder bedre sikring af skift mellem to kollektive transportformer, som kan reducere rejsetid og kortlægning af rejseadfærd, som kan hjælpe med at indrette det kollektive transportsystem til at passe bedre til borgernes egentlige behov. Afhandlingen er inddelt i tre dele: i) I den første del præsenteres nyskabende metoder og modeller til at danne primært kort-tids prognoser for ankomst- og afgangstider, ii) i den anden del videreudvikles denne tilgang ved at undersøge fordele og ulemper ved at kombinere flere enkeltstående modeller i et samlet prognosesystem samt den industrielle anvendelse, mens iii) den sidste del omhandler anvendelsen af lokationsdata og maskinlærings-modeller til bedre at forstå rejseadfærd. Mere uddybende omhandler den første del tilvejebringelsen af flere nye metoder og modeller, som hver især bidrager med forbedrede prognoser for bus-rejsetid og dermed mere præcise ankomst- og afgangstider for busser. Alle modellerne bygger på forskellige innovative maskinlærings-teknikker og benytter store datamængder til at lære mønstre og sammenhænge fra tidligere observerede buslokationsdata. Til sidst udvikles også modeller, som håndterer den variation, der naturligt er i rejsetider, til bedre at kunne kvantificere usikkerheden i ankomsten. Denne information anvendes konkret til at vise, hvordan et ekspert-system kan forbedre skift mellem busser ved at prioritere holdetid på en intelligent måde. Anden del udbygger denne tilgang fra et mere anvendt og operationelt perspektiv ved at præsentere et koncept for et samlet prognosesystem, hvor flere uafhængige basismodeller kan samarbejde og konkurrere for at opnå et samlet mere funktionelt, robust og præcist system. Der argumenteres for, at dette system i højere grad kan anvendes inden for de eksisterede vilkår i branchen. Der præsenteres nødvendige designvalg for at implementere et sådant system på en skalerbar, robust og omkostningseffektiv måde, og et fuldt operationelt og open source-system leveres som en del af ph.d.-projektet. Tredje og sidste del omhandler to sideløbende studier, som relaterer sig til de forudgående dele ved at kombinere lokationsdata og avancerede maskinlærings-teknikker, men fokuserer på rejseadfærd. Det første studie omhandler estimering af gangtider ved skift fra bus til tog. Der anvendes en model til at skelne mellem passagerer, der foretager et direkte skift, og dermed repræsenterer den faktiske gangtid mellem bus og tog, og den samlede gruppe som også indeholder en mængde passagerer, som foretager aktiviteter under et skift, f.eks. indkøb, besøg i nabolaget osv. Til sidst præsenteres en metode til at klassificere en sekvens af positioner indsamlet via smartphones i enten et ophold eller bevægelse. Dette er et væsentligt skridt for at opbygge automatiske rejsedagbøger fra smartphones, som potentielt udgør en stor og indsigtsfuld kilde om rejseadfærd og kan understøtte beslutningstagere og rådgivere i planlægningen af den kollektive transport, og transportområdet generelt. Overordnet konkluderes det, at avancerede og nyudviklede metoder og modeller til at forudsige bussers ankomst- og afgangstider kan forbedre præcisionen markant, men at de ofte også er urealistiske at adoptere og produktionssætte i praksis, da der forudsættes en række betingelser, som sjældent er sande i virkelige scenarier. Den forslåede multimodel- tilgang løser nogle af disse udfordringer, dog ved at gå på delvist kompromis med præcisionen. En anden vigtig konklusion er, at modellering af usikkerheden i visse tilfælde kan tilføjes uden mærkbar konsekvens for beregningstiden og kan anvendes til intelligent håndtering bl.a. i forbindelse med skift i den kollektive transport. Afslutningsvis konkluderes det yderligere, at de to studier om kombination af lokationsdata og maskinlæringsteknikker kan afsløre detaljerede informationer om rejseadfærd, som ikke anses realistiske at indhente ved de manuelle alternativer. Derved udgør de en automatisk og omkostningslet kilde til en bred og detaljeret indsigt i rejseadfærden. ; Public transport is a widely adopted and well-known way of ensuring connected mobility for the broad population in both metropolitan cities and urban areas. It makes good sense even in a more rural setting to at least offer some strategic travel corridors that are connected and supplemented with more demand-driven services. Both politically and scientifically, getting more people to use public transport is considered an important way to reduce the number of trips with passenger cars, and a way to free space in cities under pressure, where congestion results in a huge amount of wasted time on a daily basis. In addition, it is a key initiative to achieve the different climate goals set by the EU and the UN, among others, and thus implement the green transition of the transport sector. To support this transition, it is necessary that public transport becomes more attractive to compete against the benefits offered by a passenger car. There are many criticisms to address, such as travel time, availability, comfort, and reliable and accurate traveler information. These must each and every one be developed and improved continuously in order to become, and not least remain, a relevant, competitive, and green alternative to passenger cars. This PhD thesis deals in particular with the improvement of traveler information, more specifically precise and robust bus arrival and departure time predictions. Since buses traditionally share lanes with other modes of transport, they are naturally difficult to predict. In addition, related topics are also addressed that can help to address several of the points listed above, including better assurance of transfers between two public transport services that can reduce travel time and analyzing travel behavior that can help fit the public transport system to people needs in better ways. The thesis is divided into three parts: i) The first part presents innovative methods and models for primarily shortterm bus arrival and departure predictions, ii) the second part continues these findings by investigating the advantages and disadvantages of combining several stand-alone models in an overall forecasting system as well as the industrial application, while iii) the last part deals with the use of location data and machine learning models to better understand travel behavior. More in detail, the first part deals with the development of several novel methods and models, each of which contributes to improved accuracy for bus travel time and thus more precise arrival and departure times for buses. All models are based on various innovative machine learning techniques, and use large amounts of data to learn patterns and contexts from previously observed bus location data. Finally, models are also developed to handle the variability that naturally occurs in travel times, in order to better quantify and constrain the uncertainty of bus arrival. This information is used concretely to show how an expert system can improve transfers between buses by prioritizing holding time in an intelligent way. The second part expands this approach from a more applied and operational perspective by presenting a concept for a multi-model prediction system where several independent base models can collaborate and compete to achieve an overall more functional, robust and accurate system. It is argued a system with these capabilities is more adoptable under the real-world conditions seen in the industry. Significant design choices are presented to implement such a system in a scalable, robust, and cost-effective way, and a fully operational and open-source system is provided as part of the PhD project. The third and final part deals with two studies, which relate to the previous parts by combining location data and advanced machine learning techniques but focus on travel behavior. The first study deals with estimating walking times when transferring between bus and train. A model is used to separate passengers into two categories; those who make a direct transfer, and thus accurately represent the actual travel time between bus and train, and those passengers who make activities during a transfer, e.g. shopping, nearby visits, etc. Finally, a method is presented to classify a sequence of positions collected from smartphones in either a stop or movement. This is an important step in collecting automated travel diaries from smartphones, which potentially constitute a large and insightful source of travel behavior information, and can support policymakers and advisors in the planning of public transport and the transport sector in general. Overall, it is concluded that the advanced and novel methods and models developed for bus arrival prediction can improve accuracy, but they are often also unrealistic to directly adopt and put into production in the industry because a number of conditions are assumed that are rarely true in real-world scenarios. The proposed multi-model approach solves some of these challenges, however, by partially compromising on accuracy. Another important conclusion is that modeling the uncertainty can in some cases be added without notable consequence for the computational complexity, and can be used for more intelligently handling of several scenarios in public transport, e.g. transfer synchronization, connection assurance, and transfer walking time. Finally, it is further concluded that the combination of location data and machine learning techniques can reveal detailed information on travel behavior that is not considered realistic to obtain using manual alternatives. Thus, they provide an automatic and cost-effective source for broad and detailed insight into travel behavior.

The editorial board of the Ukrainian Information Space opens a new section entitled "Documents from Diaspora Archives" with an article by Petro Fedun (Poltava), a former head of the Information Bureau of the Ukrainian Supreme Council (UHVR), UPA main journalist and publicist. We plan to bring back from oblivion those texts completely unknown to Ukrainian researchers and journalists, the semantic accents of which are in line with the current realities of the development of the national information space.Petro Fedun (pseudo "Poltava", "Volianskyi", "Sever", "Zenon", "P. Savchuk") is considered the main ideologue ("political educator") of the Ukrainian armed underground OUN-UPA of 40–50s of the twentieth century. He should deservedly enter the recent Ukrainian history as a publicist, author and editor of many insurgent publications. Originally from the village of Shnyriv, not far from Brody in Galicia, where he was born in a peasant family on February 23, 1919.The biography of this talented person is full of incredibly shocking events: youth training in the underground OUN from the mid-30s; from 1939 — medical student of Lviv University, an expert in classical languages. With the conscription of the same year for service in the Soviet army, he went from private to officer, with the beginning of the war — the commander of a platoon of the Red Army soldiers. He fought on the Finnish-Soviet and German-Soviet fronts. Then he was a German prisoner, after happened an escape from there, and finally he became an underground insurgent in the ranks of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army.The career growth in the underground was also impressive: from the editor of the magazine "Yunak" ("Youth") — to the Deputy Head of the General Secretariat of the UHVR; from an ordinary insurgent to a UPA colonel, a member of its General Military Staff. After Roman Shukhevych's death, he was elected as a Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (summer 1950).Petro Fedun (Poltava) was two months away from his 33rd birthday — he died as a hero in a battle with the NKVD (People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs) in December 1951 in the woods near the village Novoshyn (now in the Zhydachiv district of Lviv region).The most famous work of this author, for the reading or distribution of which people were shot in Soviet Ukraine in the 1950s, is the brochure "Who are the Banderites and what are they fighting for?". It was repeatedly republished in underground printing houses of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army and was also sent to Soviet territories from abroad. In the diaspora, this book was called the immortal legend of a warring nation.Despite the fact that Fedun's (Poltava) creative contribution is small in volume, but quite powerful in content. First of all, this is a series of analytical articles on the Ukrainian nationalism ideology. Among the first — "The concept of Independent Ukraine and the main trend of ideological and political development of the modern world", "For the type of organized democracy in the future independent Ukrainian state", "Who is a true nationalist-revolutionary". The main feature of such texts: they are written simply, intelligibly, and oriented on the reader who is not prepared in life and politics. In contrast to texts on a similar subject, written by the refined esthete and high standard writer Dmytro Dontsov, which are better perceived by an already prepared reader.The fact that Ukrainian editorial board was headed by an enemy of Ukrainians led to the appearance of the "Memorial of Ukrainians in Great Britain", which came as an official document addressed to the leadership of the "Voice of America".A number of wishes and suggestions were expressed at the Memorial. Their essence was reduced to one thing: Ukrainian programs should pay due attention to Ukrainian national ideals and national traditions. This could be achieved by including the following topics from time to time:- outlines on Ukrainian history and culture;- stories about national heroes of the past and modern era;- materials about the significant dates of Ukrainians' national liberation struggle;- reviews of the American and Western press, which deal with Ukraine and Ukrainians.Particular attention was paid to the need to separate the content of radio programs addressed to Ukrainians from Moscow ones: "Ukrainian radio broadcasts should be edited differently than Russian ones. The content of Ukrainian programs should also be different," — the document said.The impetus for writing the article "What should be 'Voice of America' radio programs for the Soviet Union" was the mass spontaneous movement of the Western Diaspora Ukrainians in the late '40s of the twentieth century in order to get the "Voice of America" radio broadcast in Ukrainian. The Ukrainians' demands became successful at the end of November 1949. However, at the initial stage, the Ukrainian-language broadcasts of this radio station were mostly unfavorable or untrue towards Ukrainians. The reason was that the head of the Ukrainian editorial office was a Russian Hryhoriev — an outspoken follower of the "Russian world".The article was written by an underground UPA journalist on the territory of Soviet Ukraine and expressed the views not only of the insurgents but also of a large part of Ukrainian population.The relevance of this text is felt today as never before. The reader only needs to replace the often-repeated phrases "Moscow-Bolshevik oppressors", "Bolshevik tyranny", "USSR" with "Russian aggression", "Russian propaganda" and "Putin's Russia". Within the context of the current undeclared Russian-Ukrainian war in the East of Ukraine, the article touches on a layer of problems of the modern humanitarian policy of the Ukrainian state in general and information policy in particular.First published in the biweekly of the Foreign Office of the UHVR "Modern Ukraine" (dated March 18, 1951) — shortly before the death of the publicist. Особливість таких текстів: написані просто, дохідливо, у розрахунку на читача мало підготовленого в житті й політиці. На противагу, скажімо, текстам на подібну тематику вишуканого естета й літератора високої проби Дмитра Донцова, які краще сприймає вже підготовлений читач.Спонукою до написання статті «Якими повинні бути радіопередачі «Голосу Америки» для Совєтського Союзу» став масовий стихійних рух кінця 40-х років ХХ ст. українців західної діаспори з метою добитися мовлення радіостанції «Голос Америки» українською мовою. Домагання українців увінчалися успіхом наприкінці листопада 1949 р. Однак на початковому етапі українськомовні передачі цієї радіостанції носили здебільше не прихильний або неправдивий щодо українства характер. Причиною було те, що керівником української редакції виявився росіянин Григорьєв — неприхований адепт «русского міра».Факт очолювання української редакції ворогом українців став причиною появи «Меморіялу українців Великої Британії», що надійшов як офіційний документ на ім'я керівництва «Голосу Америки». У «Меморіялі» було висловлено низку побажань та пропозицій. Суть їх зводилася до одного: в українських передачах мала би бути належна увага українським національним ідеалам і національній традиції. Зреалізувати це можна було б включенням час від часу таких тем:- нариси української історії та культури;- розповіді про національних героїв минулого і новітньої епохи;- матеріали про знакові дати національно-визвольних змагань українців; - огляди американської та західної преси, у яких ідеться про Україну та українців. Окрема заувага стосувалася необхідності відмосковлення змісту радіопрограм, адресованих для українців: «Українські радіомовлення повинні бути інакше редаговані, ніж російські. Зміст українських передач повинен бути також інший», — йшлося в документі.Стаття написана підпільним журналістом УПА на території радянської України і виражала думки не лише повстанців, а і значної частини українського населення.Актуальність цього тексту відчувається сьогодні як ніколи. Варто читачеві лише замінити часто повторювані тут словосполучення «московсько-большевицькі гнобителі», «большевицька тиранія», «СССР» на «російська агресія», «російська пропаганда», «путінська Росія». Саме в контексті теперішньої неоголошеної російсько-української війни на сході України в статті зачіпається пласт проблем сучасної гуманітарної політики Української держави загалом та інформаційної зокрема.Уперше опублікована у двотижневику Закордонного Представництва УГВР «Сучасна Україна» (число від 18 березня 1951 р.) — незадовго до загибелі публіциста. Повної підшивки цього видання в жодній книгозбірні України і світу немає. This document constitutes a conceptual and empirical approach to the problem of Socio-Environmental Conflicts (SEC) in Ecuador through an evaluation of 51 cases, distributed throughout the Ecuadorian territory between 1977 and 2014. The main concern regarding the spread of SEC, both in Ecuador and at regional and global levels, is the increase of extractive activities that support the global economic system. The richest areas in natural resources such as gas, oil, forests, minerals, water sources and agricultural land are the most exposed to the clash of interests between extractive industries and local populations. In the case of developing countries, constantly indebted such as Ecuador, immediate economic needs prevail over the conservation and sustainable use of resources. In response, environmental activism, led in many cases by indigenous organizations, is a key factor in identifying and denouncing ecological destruction. On their success largely depends the conservation of natural resources and ecosystems that could guarantee us all, a more sustainable future. Given the complexity of the subject, SEC analysis requires involving various branches of science, especially in relation to the main fields of study of sustainability: environment, society and economy. The evaluation will be done taking into account the set of cases as a single complex system through the implementation and adaptation of data mining methodologies and complex network analysis. The methodologies proposed in this work allow simultaneous combinations and comparisons of quantitative and qualitative data. Our purpose is to contribute to the study and understanding of this type of phenomena, through the identification of patterns and trends not identifiable by other methods commonly used for this purpose, such as individual case studies and classical statistics. In order to achieve a better interpretation of the results, we firstly perform a theoretical review around the CSA, and a contextual review around the case of Ecuador specifically (Chapter 1). After presenting the data to be processed from the sources, specific context and the way in which they are organized (Chapter 2), we will use data mining techniques to perform a statistical analysis that integrates all available data and allows us to propose a new method of data processing applied to SEC (Chapter 3). In the case of the analysis of actors, the temporal evolution of their connectivity and the particular characteristics of each group (or type of actors), the analysis of complex networks will be used that will allow us to decipher their behavior in all its complexity (Chapter 4). Finally, we will review the results obtained, some cases of SEC in Ecuador after the study period and the proposal of a method that integrates the results of chapters 3 and 4 to achieve a deeper understanding and a possible application in predictive models typical of systems dynamics (Chapter 5). Thanks to the methodological contribution proposed in this thesis and the new knowledge obtained regarding the phenomenon of SEC in Ecuador, we intend to vindicate the fundamental role of environmental movements in the fight to preserve natural resources and, consequently, their contribution to sustainability global. This claim is a wake-up call, both to civil society and government entities, for their lack of involvement or omission in defense of the environment. ; El presente documento constituye una aproximación conceptual y empírica al problema de los Conflictos Socio Ambientales (CSA) en Ecuador mediante una evaluación de 51 casos, distribuidos en todo el territorio ecuatoriano, comprendidos entre los años 1977 y 2014. El principal motivo de preocupación concerniente al avance de los CSA, tanto en Ecuador como a nivel regional y global, es el incremento de las actividades extractivas que soportan el sistema económico mundial. Las áreas más ricas en recursos naturales lucrativos, como por ejemplo el gas, el petróleo, los bosques, minerales, fuentes de agua y tierras agrícolas, son las más expuestas al choque de intereses entre las industrias extractivas y las poblaciones locales. En el caso de los países en desarrollo, países constantemente endeudados como Ecuador, las necesidades económicas inmediatas imperan sobre la conservación y el uso sostenible de los recursos. En respuesta, el activismo ambiental, liderado en muchos casos por organizaciones indígenas, es un factor clave para identificar y denunciar la destrucción ecológica. De su éxito depende en gran parte, la conservación de los recursos naturales y los ecosistemas que podrían garantizarnos a todos, un futuro más sostenible. Dada la complejidad del tema, el análisis de CSA requiere involucrar diversas ramas de la ciencia, sobre todo en relación a los principales campos de estudio de la sostenibilidad: medio ambiente, sociedad y economía. La evaluación se hará tomando en cuenta el conjunto de casos como un solo sistema complejo mediante la implementación y adaptación de metodologías de minería de datos y análisis de redes complejas. Las metodologías propuestas en el presente trabajo permiten realizar combinaciones y comparaciones simultáneas de datos cuantitativos y cualitativos. Nuestro propósito es contribuir al estudio y la comprensión de este tipo de fenómenos, a través de la identificación de patrones y tendencias no identificables mediante otro tipo de métodos comúnmente utilizados para este fin, como son el estudio individual de casos y la estadística clásica. Con el objeto de conseguir una mejor interpretación de los resultados, realizamos en primer lugar un repaso teórico en torno a los CSA y una reseña contextual en torno al caso del Ecuador específicamente (Capítulo 1). Después de presentar los datos que procesaremos desde las fuentes, el contexto específico y la forma en la cual están organizados (Capítulo 2), utilizaremos técnicas de minerías de datos para realizar un análisis estadístico que integre todos los datos disponibles y nos permita proponer un nuevo método de tratamiento de datos aplicado a los CSA (Capítulo 3). Para el caso del análisis de actores, la evolución temporal de su conectividad y las características particulares de cada grupo (o tipo de actores), se utilizará el análisis de redes complejas que nos permitirán descifrar el comportamiento de los mismos en toda su complejidad (Capítulo 4). Finalmente, revisaremos los resultados obtenidos, algunos casos de SEC en Ecuador después del período de estudio y la propuesta de un método que integre los resultados de los capítulos 3 y 4 para lograr una comprensión más profunda y una posible aplicación en modelos predictivos típicos de la dinámica de sistemas (Capítulo 5). Gracias al aporte metodológico propuesto en esta tesis y al nuevo conocimiento obtenido con respecto al fenómeno de los CSA en Ecuador, pretendemos reivindicar el papel fundamental de los movimientos ambientalistas en la lucha por preservar los recursos naturales y, en consecuencia, su contribución a la sostenibilidad global. Esta reivindicación es un llamado de atención, tanto a la sociedad civil como a los entes gubernamentales, por su falta de implicación u omisión ante la defensa del medio ambiente. ; El present document constitueix una aproximació conceptual i empírica al problema dels Conflictes Soci Ambientals (CSA) a l'Equador mitjançant una avaluació de 51 casos, distribuïts en tot el territori equatorià, compresos entre els anys 1977 i 2014. El principal motiu de preocupació en quant a a l'avanç dels CSA, tant a l'Equador com a nivell regional i global, és l'increment de les activitats extractives que mantenen el sistema econòmic mundial. Les àrees més riques en recursos naturals lucratius, com per exemple el gas, el petroli, els boscos, minerals, fonts d'aigua i terres agrícoles són les més exposades al xoc d'interessos entre les indústries extractives i les poblacions locals. En el cas dels països en desenvolupament, països constantment endeutats com l'Equador, les necessitats econòmiques immediates imperen sobre la conservació i l'ús sostenible dels recursos. En resposta, l'activisme ambiental, liderat en molts casos per organitzacions indígenes, és un factor clau per a identificar i denunciar la destrucció ecològica. Del seu èxit depèn, en gran part, la conservació dels recursos naturals i els ecosistemes que podrien garantir-nos a tots, un futur més sostenible. Donada la complexitat del tema, l'anàlisi de CSA requereix involucrar diverses branques de la ciència, sobretot en relació als principals camps d'estudi de la sostenibilitat: medi ambient, societat i economia. L'avaluació es farà tenint en compte el conjunt de casos com un sol sistema complex mitjançant la implementació i adaptació de metodologies de mineria de dades i anàlisis de xarxes complexes. Les metodologies proposades en el present treball permeten realitzar combinacions i comparacions simultànies de dades quantitatives i qualitatives. El nostre propòsit és contribuir a l'estudi i la comprensió d'aquest tipus de fenòmens, a través de la identificació de patrons i tendències no identificables mitjançant un altre tipus de mètodes comunament utilitzats per a aquesta fi, com són l'estudi individual de casos i l'estadística clàssica. A fi d'aconseguir una millor interpretació dels resultats, realitzem en primer lloc un repàs teòric entorn dels CSA i una ressenya contextual entorn del cas de l'Equador específicament (Capítol 1). Després de presentar les dades que processarem des de les fonts, el context específic i la forma en la qual estan organitzats (Capítol 2), utilitzarem tècniques de mineries de dades per a realitzar una anàlisi estadística que integri totes les dades disponibles i ens permeti proposar un nou mètode de tractament de dades aplicat als CSA (Capítol 3). Per al cas de l'anàlisi d'actors, l'evolució temporal de la seva connectivitat i les característiques particulars de cada grup (o tipus d'actors), s'utilitzarà l'anàlisi de xarxes complexes que ens permetran desxifrar el comportament del seu comportament en tota la seva complexitat (Capítol 4). Finalment, revisarem els resultats obtinguts, alguns casos de CSA a l'Equador després del període d'estudi i la proposta d'un mètode que integri els resultats dels capítols 3 i 4 per a aconseguir una comprensió més profunda i una possible aplicació en models predictius típics de la dinàmica de sistemes (Capítol 5). Die vorliegende Dissertation thematisiert die Weiterentwicklung der Zwei-Photonen Laserlithographie zur Realisierung hochaufgelöster Maßverkörperungen für die Kalibrierung optisch-flächenhafter Topographie-Messgeräte nach DIN EN ISO 25178. Die additive Fertigung als generelle Bezeichnung für ein schicht- oder punktweise auftragendes Fertigungsverfahren prosperiert und wird in Zukunft laut der von der Bundesregierung eingerichteten Expertenkommission für Forschung und Innovation (EFI) eine wichtige Rolle als Schlüsseltechnologie einnehmen. Anstatt Bauteile z.B. aus einem soliden Block geometrielimitiert herauszufräsen, baut die additive Fertigung das entsprechende Werkstück aus Metallen, Kunst- oder Verbundwerkstoffen sukzessive auf und ist dabei von der Geometrie meist unabhängig. Dadurch ist die Technologie z.B. für das rapid prototyping interessant und erlaubt einen strukturgetriebenen Herstellungsprozess: "Die Bauteile der Zukunft werden nicht designt sondern berechnet!" Speziell auf der Mikro- und Nanoskala erfreut sich die additive Fertigung einer wachsenden Bedeutung. Angefangen bei den zunächst fundamentalen Fragestellungen auf den Gebieten der photonischen Kristalle, biologischen Zelltemplaten oder Metamaterialen erhält so z.B. die Zwei-Photonen Laserlithographie, auch direct laser writing (DLW) genannt, einen immer stärkeren Einzug in die Industrie. Beim DLW werden Bereiche photosensitiver Materialien, z.B. Photolacke, mithilfe eines fokussierten Laserstrahls gezielt ausgehärtet, sodass über präzise Relativbewegungen von Lack und Fokus nahezu beliebige 3D Strukturen mit Details auf der Gröÿenordnung des Laserfokus generiert werden können. Dabei spielt die namensgebende, nichtlineare Zwei-Photonen Absorption (2PA) eine entscheidende Rolle: Nur bei einer nahezu simultanen Absorption von zwei Photonen ist die eingebrachte Energie ausreichend hoch, um die gewünschte Aushärtung des Materials zu initiieren. Der entsprechende Zwei-Photonen Absorptionsquerschnitt skaliert mit dem Quadrat der Lichtintensität und dem Imaginärteil der elektrischen Suszeptibilität dritter Ordnung chi(3), sodass beim DLW auch von einem chi(3)-Prozess gesprochen wird. Die zur Aushärtung notwendige Photonenendichte ist somit ausschlieÿlich im Fokus des verwendeten Objektivs hoch genug und erlaubt dadurch die Fertigung von Strukturdetails im Bereich von 100 nm. Eine aktuelle Anwendung findet das DLW in der Metrologie. Hier werden beispielsweise für die Kalibrierung optischer Messgeräte sogenannte Kalibrierkörper benötigt, welche als Referenzstrukturen dienen. Mit dem Wissen der entsprechenden Referenzkennwerte lassen sich die jeweiligen Messgeräteabweichungen bestimmen gegebenenfalls bei der Datenauswertung korrigieren. Dadurch werden die Ergebnisse für Forschung und Industrie verlässlicher, reproduzierbarer und vergleichbarer. Das DLW erlaubt aufgrund seiner hohen Flexibilität und Designfreiheit erstmals, sämtliche Kalibrierkörper für eine ganzheitliche Messgerätekalibrierung kombiniert auf einem einzelnen Trägersubstrat herzustellen. Um das Alterungs- und Skalierungsverhalten sowie die jeweiligen Kalibriereigenschaften der additiv gefertigten Strukturen für einen nachhaltigen technologischen Einsatz attraktiv zu halten, ist ein tiefergehendes Verständnis des entsprechenden Materialsystems unabdingbar. Unter bestimmten Bedingungen zeigt sich, dass die zeitabhängigen Veränderungen der Strukturen nach der thermisch beschleunigten Alterung nach Arrhenius auf den industriell relevanten Zeitskalen von einigen Jahren vernachlässigt werden kann. Auch die für die Kalibrierung unterschiedlicher Objektivvergröÿerungen notwendige Skalierung dieser Kalibrierkörper liefert nach entsprechender Herstellungsoptimierung verlässliche Daten: Sowohl filigrane Strukturen im Bereich einiger weniger Mikrometer und darunter zur Auflösungskalibrierung stark vergrößernder Optiken, als auch großflächige Strukturen von nahezu 1mm² für niedrigere Vergrößerungen bei ähnlicher Auflösung erweisen sich als realisierbar. Um die für eine Auflösungskalibrierung ausreichend hohe Qualität der gefertigten Kalibrierkörper auch in Zukunft zu gewährleisten, muss die Technologie des DLWs stetig weiterentwickelt werden. Die gezielte Aberrationskorrektur des strukturierenden Laserfokus stellt in diesem Kontext zwar eine vielversprechende Option dar, die etablierte iterative Phasenfrontmodifikation mittels Zernike-Polynome erweist sich allerdings als aufwendig und subjektiv. Im Hinblick auf Reproduzierbarkeit und Präzision soll daher zunächst ein passender Algorithmus Abhilfe schaffen. Das Grundprinzip beruht dabei auf dem sogenannten Gerchberg-Saxton Algorithmus, bei dem die Amplitudeninformation sowohl in der Fokus-, als auch in der Pupillenebene iterativ variiert wird. Dadurch werden die Aberrationen über die Phasenverteilung repräsentiert, welche im Anschluss zur Korrektur der Aberrationen verwendet werden kann. Diese Herangehensweise konnte im Rahmen dieser Arbeit erstmals auf Systeme hoher numerischer Apertur sowie auf nahezu beliebige fokale Intensitätsverteilungen erweitert werden. Die technologische Grundlage hierfür liefert ein räumlicher Lichtmodulator (spatial light modulator, SLM), der die Feldverteilung in der Pupillenebene mittels doppelbrechender Flüssigkristalle einstellt. Durch einen geschickten Aufbau können somit Phase und Amplitude des Laserstrahls über computergenerierte digitale Hologramme gezielt und ohne mechanische Einwirkung verändert werden. Die somit automatisierte Aberrationskorrektur verbessert in der Folge die Strukturierungseigenschaften der Fertigungstechnologie und damit die Qualität der resultierenden Kalibrierkörper. Eine weitere Verbesserung erfolgt in Analogie zum Nobelpreis gekürten Prinzip der STED Mikroskopie, bei der durch stimulierte Emission das effektive Anregungsvolumen verkleinert und damit die laterale Distanz zwischen zwei gerade noch aufgelösten Strukturen von einigen wenigen hundert Nanometern auf ca. fünf Nanometer verbessert wurde. In der Lithographie erfolgt die stimulierte Emission durch einen zweiten Laser via Ein-Photonen Absorption (1PA ~chi(1)), ist jedoch aufgrund komplexer photochemischer und quantenmechanischer Prozesse in den Photolacken nicht unmittelbar aus der Mikroskopie übertragbar. Die grundlegende Machbarkeit wurde bereits von anderen Forschungsgruppen verifiziert, jedoch stets mit der Limitierung auf sehr geringe Strukturierungsgeschwindigkeiten im Bereich von ungefähr 100 µm/s. Damit würden die zuvor erwähnten großflächigen Kalibrierstrukturen bei unveränderten Parametern eine Fabrikationszeit von über einem Monat beanspruchen, weswegen das Verfahren im Rahmen dieser Arbeit auf das ca. 200 mal schnellere Strukturieren mittels Galvanometerspiegel erweitert wird. Dies wird zwar durch wellenlängenabhängige Eigenschaften des Systems, wie z.B. chromatische Aberrationen erschwert, dennoch ergeben sich nachweislich einige Fortschritte: Unerwünschte Abweichungen von der Sollstruktur durch die experimentell stets vorhandene Vignettierung können deutlich reduziert werden. Außerdem kann der Parameterbereich zur Erzeugung konstant hoher Strukturqualität deutlich vergrößert werden. In Kombination mit den SLMs können somit, je nach Anforderungen der Zielstrukturen, die jeweils passenden fokalen Intensitätsverteilungen für den An- und Abregungsstrahlengang automatisiert generiert und optimiert werden. Zudem wurde durch die in dieser Arbeit erbrachten konzeptionellen Fortschritte der STED inspirierten Zwei-Photonen Laserlithographie die Grundlage für eine industrielle Anwendung der erzeugten Kalibrierstrukturen in der Metrologie gelegt. ; This dissertation deals with the further development of Two-Photon laser lithography for the realization of high-resolution measuring standards for the calibration of optical areal topography measuring instruments according to DIN EN ISO 25178. Additive manufacturing as a general term for a manufacturing process applied in layers or points is prospering and will play an important role as a key technology in future, according to the committee of research and innovation established by the German government. Instead of milling components out of a solid block with limited geometry, for example, additive manufacturing successively builds up the corresponding workpiece from metals, plastics or composites and is usually geometry unlimited. This makes this technology interesting for e.g. rapid prototyping and allows a structure-driven manufacturing process: "Future components will not be designed, but calculated!" (Dr. Karsten Heuser, VP Additive Manufacturing, Siemens AG at 3D Printing and Industry 4.0: An Industry Perspective, Photonics West 2018, San Francisco, 31.01.2018 (freely cited)). Especially on the micron and nano scale, its importance is continuously growing. Starting with fundamental questions in the fields of photonic crystals, biological cell templates or metamaterials, Two-Photon laser lithography, also known as direct laser writing (DLW), is currently gaining in industry. During the DLW process, areas of photosensitive materials, e.g. photoresists, are specifically cured with the aid of a focused laser beam, so that almost any 3D structures with details on the order of magnitude of the laser focus can be generated via precise relative movements of the resist and focus. Thereby, the namegiving, non-linear Two-Photon absorption (2PA) plays a decisive role: only with an almost simultaneous absorption of two photons, the input energy is suffciently high to initiate the desired curing of the material. The corresponding Two-Photon absorption cross-section scales with the square of the light intensity and the imaginary part of the third order electrical susceptibility chi(3), so that DLW is also named as a chi(3)-process. The photon density required for the above mentioned curing is high enough exclusively in the focus of the objective used and thus, permits the production of structural details in the range of 100 nm. A current application for Two-Photon laser lithography can be found in metrology. Here, so-called calibration artifacts are needed for the calibration of optical measuring instruments, which serve as reference structures. With the knowledge of the corresponding reference values, the respective measuring instrument deviations can be determined and possibly corrected during the evaluation of the data. This makes the results for research and industry more reliable, reproducible and comparable. Due to the high flexibility and freedom of design, Two-Photon laser lithography allows for the first time to produce all calibration artifacts for a holistic calibration of measuring instruments combined on a single carrier substrate. In order to keep the ageing and scaling behaviour as well as the respective calibration properties of these structures attractive for sustainable technological use, a deeper understanding of the corresponding material system is indispensable. Under certain conditions it is shown that the time-dependent changes of the structures after a thermally accelerated ageing according to Arrhenius can be neglected on the industrially relevant time scales of some years. The scaling of these calibration artifacts required for the calibration of different objective magnifications also provides reliable data after appropriate production optimization: both, filigree structures in the range of a few micrometers and below for a calibration of resolution of strongly magnifying optics, as well as large-area structures of almost 1mm² for lower magnifications with similar resolution are proved to be feasible. In order to guarantee the suffciently high quality of the calibration artifacts produced for a resolution calibration also in the future, the technology of DLW must be continuously further developed. Although the taylored aberration correction of the structuring laser focus is a promising option in this context, the according established iterative phase front modification using Zernike polynomials proves to be complex and subjective. With regard to reproducibility and precision, a suitable algorithm should therefore provide a remedy. The basic principle is based on the so-called Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm, in which the amplitude information is iteratively varied within both, the focal plane and the pupil plane. Thus, the aberrations are represented by the phase distribution, which is then used for aberration compensation. This approach could be extended for the first time to systems with high numerical aperture and to almost any focal intensity distributions within this thesis. The technological basis for this is provided by a spatial light modulator (SLM), which adjusts the field distribution in the pupil plane by means of birefringent liquid crystals. An evolved setup allows for phase and amplitude modification of the laser beam via computer-generated digital holograms and thus, correcting the aberrations without mechanical influence. A further improvement is achieved in analogy to the Nobel Price rewarded principle of STED microscopy, in which the effective excitation volume was reduced by stimulated emission, thus the minimal resolved distance of two single structures improved from some few hundreds of nanometers to about five Nanometers. In lithography, the stimulated emission is achieved by a second laser via One-Photon absorption (1PA ~chi(1)), but due to complex photochemical and quantum mechanical processes within the photoresists it cannot be transferred directly from microscopy. The basic feasibility has already been verified by other research groups, but always with the limitation to very low structuring velocities in the range of about 100 µm/s. Regarding the aforementioned large areal calibration artifacts, their fabrication time is expected to take more than one month, using unchanged structuring parameters. High velocity galvanometric mirror structuring is supposed to overcome this issue by performing at least 200 times faster. Although this is complicated by wavelength-dependent properties of the system, such as chromatic aberrations, some progress has been made: unwanted deviations from the target structure due to vignetting, which is always present in our experiments, can be clearly reduced. In addition, the parameter range can be noticeably increased in order to produce consistently high structure quality. In combination with the SLMs, the appropriate focal intensity distributions for the excitation and depletion beam paths can be automatically generated and optimized, depending on the requirements of the target structures. In addition, the conceptual advances of the STED-inspired Two-Photon laser lithography have laid the foundation for an industrial application of the generated calibration structures in metrology.

The editorial board of the Ukrainian Information Space opens a new section entitled "Documents from Diaspora Archives" with an article by Petro Fedun (Poltava), a former head of the Information Bureau of the Ukrainian Supreme Council (UHVR), UPA main journalist and publicist. We plan to bring back from oblivion those texts completely unknown to Ukrainian researchers and journalists, the semantic accents of which are in line with the current realities of the development of the national information space.Petro Fedun (pseudo "Poltava", "Volianskyi", "Sever", "Zenon", "P. Savchuk") is considered the main ideologue ("political educator") of the Ukrainian armed underground OUN-UPA of 40–50s of the twentieth century. He should deservedly enter the recent Ukrainian history as a publicist, author and editor of many insurgent publications. Originally from the village of Shnyriv, not far from Brody in Galicia, where he was born in a peasant family on February 23, 1919.The biography of this talented person is full of incredibly shocking events: youth training in the underground OUN from the mid-30s; from 1939 — medical student of Lviv University, an expert in classical languages. With the conscription of the same year for service in the Soviet army, he went from private to officer, with the beginning of the war — the commander of a platoon of the Red Army soldiers. He fought on the Finnish-Soviet and German-Soviet fronts. Then he was a German prisoner, after happened an escape from there, and finally he became an underground insurgent in the ranks of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army.The career growth in the underground was also impressive: from the editor of the magazine "Yunak" ("Youth") — to the Deputy Head of the General Secretariat of the UHVR; from an ordinary insurgent to a UPA colonel, a member of its General Military Staff. After Roman Shukhevych's death, he was elected as a Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (summer 1950).Petro Fedun (Poltava) was two months away from his 33rd birthday — he died as a hero in a battle with the NKVD (People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs) in December 1951 in the woods near the village Novoshyn (now in the Zhydachiv district of Lviv region).The most famous work of this author, for the reading or distribution of which people were shot in Soviet Ukraine in the 1950s, is the brochure "Who are the Banderites and what are they fighting for?". It was repeatedly republished in underground printing houses of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army and was also sent to Soviet territories from abroad. In the diaspora, this book was called the immortal legend of a warring nation.Despite the fact that Fedun's (Poltava) creative contribution is small in volume, but quite powerful in content. First of all, this is a series of analytical articles on the Ukrainian nationalism ideology. Among the first — "The concept of Independent Ukraine and the main trend of ideological and political development of the modern world", "For the type of organized democracy in the future independent Ukrainian state", "Who is a true nationalist-revolutionary". The main feature of such texts: they are written simply, intelligibly, and oriented on the reader who is not prepared in life and politics. In contrast to texts on a similar subject, written by the refined esthete and high standard writer Dmytro Dontsov, which are better perceived by an already prepared reader.The fact that Ukrainian editorial board was headed by an enemy of Ukrainians led to the appearance of the "Memorial of Ukrainians in Great Britain", which came as an official document addressed to the leadership of the "Voice of America".A number of wishes and suggestions were expressed at the Memorial. Their essence was reduced to one thing: Ukrainian programs should pay due attention to Ukrainian national ideals and national traditions. This could be achieved by including the following topics from time to time:- outlines on Ukrainian history and culture;- stories about national heroes of the past and modern era;- materials about the significant dates of Ukrainians' national liberation struggle;- reviews of the American and Western press, which deal with Ukraine and Ukrainians.Particular attention was paid to the need to separate the content of radio programs addressed to Ukrainians from Moscow ones: "Ukrainian radio broadcasts should be edited differently than Russian ones. The content of Ukrainian programs should also be different," — the document said.The impetus for writing the article "What should be 'Voice of America' radio programs for the Soviet Union" was the mass spontaneous movement of the Western Diaspora Ukrainians in the late '40s of the twentieth century in order to get the "Voice of America" radio broadcast in Ukrainian. The Ukrainians' demands became successful at the end of November 1949. However, at the initial stage, the Ukrainian-language broadcasts of this radio station were mostly unfavorable or untrue towards Ukrainians. The reason was that the head of the Ukrainian editorial office was a Russian Hryhoriev — an outspoken follower of the "Russian world".The article was written by an underground UPA journalist on the territory of Soviet Ukraine and expressed the views not only of the insurgents but also of a large part of Ukrainian population.The relevance of this text is felt today as never before. The reader only needs to replace the often-repeated phrases "Moscow-Bolshevik oppressors", "Bolshevik tyranny", "USSR" with "Russian aggression", "Russian propaganda" and "Putin's Russia". У новітню українську історію він має заслужено увійти як публіцист, автор та редактор багатьох повстанських публікацій. Родом із села Шнирів, що неподалік Бродів на Галичині, де народився в селянській родині 23 лютого 1919 р.Біографія цієї талановитої особистості переповнена неймовірно карколомними подіями: юначий вишкіл у підпільній ОУН від середини 30-х років; від 1939 року — студент медицини Львівського університету, знавець класичних мов. З призовом того ж року на службу в радянську армію пройшов шлях від рядового до офіцера, з початком війни — командир взводу червоноармійців. Воював на фінсько-радянському й німецько-радянському фронтах. Далі — німецький полонений, втеча звідти і — повстанець-підпільник у рядах УПА.Вражає й кар'єрний ріст у підпіллі: від редактора журналу «Юнак» — до заступника голови Генерального Секретаріату УГВР; від рядового повстанця — до полковника УПА, члена її Головного військового штабу. Після загибелі Романа Шухевича обирається заступником Головного Командира УПА (літо 1950).Петро Федун (Полтава) не дожив до свого 33-ліття два місяці — загинув як герой у бою з НКВС у грудні 1951 р. в лісі біля с. З перших — «Концепція Самостійної України й основна тенденція ідейно-політичного розвитку сучасного світу», «За тип організованої демократії в майбутній незалежній Українській державі», «Хто є справжній націоналіст-революціонер». Особливість таких текстів: написані просто, дохідливо, у розрахунку на читача мало підготовленого в житті й політиці. На противагу, скажімо, текстам на подібну тематику вишуканого естета й літератора високої проби Дмитра Донцова, які краще сприймає вже підготовлений читач.Спонукою до написання статті «Якими повинні бути радіопередачі «Голосу Америки» для Совєтського Союзу» став масовий стихійних рух кінця 40-х років ХХ ст. українців західної діаспори з метою добитися мовлення радіостанції «Голос Америки» українською мовою. Домагання українців увінчалися успіхом наприкінці листопада 1949 р. Однак на початковому етапі українськомовні передачі цієї радіостанції носили здебільше не прихильний або неправдивий щодо українства характер. Причиною було те, що керівником української редакції виявився росіянин Григорьєв — неприхований адепт «русского міра».Факт очолювання української редакції ворогом українців став причиною появи «Меморіялу українців Великої Британії», що надійшов як офіційний документ на ім'я керівництва «Голосу Америки». У «Меморіялі» було висловлено низку побажань та пропозицій. Суть їх зводилася до одного: в українських передачах мала би бути належна увага українським національним ідеалам і національній традиції. Зреалізувати це можна було б включенням час від часу таких тем:- нариси української історії та культури;- розповіді про національних героїв минулого і новітньої епохи;- матеріали про знакові дати національно-визвольних змагань українців; - огляди американської та західної преси, у яких ідеться про Україну та українців. Окрема заувага стосувалася необхідності відмосковлення змісту радіопрограм, адресованих для українців: «Українські радіомовлення повинні бути інакше редаговані, ніж російські. Зміст українських передач повинен бути також інший», — йшлося в документі.Стаття написана підпільним журналістом УПА на території радянської України і виражала думки не лише повстанців, а і значної частини українського населення.Актуальність цього тексту відчувається сьогодні як ніколи. Варто читачеві лише замінити часто повторювані тут словосполучення «московсько-большевицькі гнобителі», «большевицька тиранія», «СССР» на «російська агресія», «російська пропаганда», «путінська Росія». During the last decades in Brazil there has been a significant increase in hydrosocial conflicts due to the construction of large hydroelectric complexes, which involve qualitative and quantitative changes regarding access and ownership of water. It has opened a new period of accumulation and transformation of production relations through the commodification of this important resource. This extension of large projects of an extractivist nature in the Amazon region, especially from the end of the eighties from the last century, after the settlement of the so-called Washington consensus. This phenomenon led to a whole series of transformations in productive, reproductive and social relations, in order to provide mechanisms for regional and national integration, as well as for overcoming accumulation crises which came from the global scale. In the Brazilian case, these reforms undertaken in recent decades in the political, social, environmental, economic and legislative realms, have not meant a major change in the productive level of the world-economy scale, since the peripheral role in the country, initiated during the colonial period, continues to be maintained. But they have deepened their dependence through the extractivist development model, highlighting among other practices (such as the advance of the agricultural frontier, large soybean crops, the deployment of fracking to increase rents derived from the hydrocarbons, etc…) the large hydroelectric complexes located throughout the country's vast hydrographic basin. The main goal of this kind of new structures is to produce higher levels of energy, largely dedicated to the processing of aluminum, whose demand has increased exponentially in recent years in states such as China, among other BRICS. From all these hydroelectric structures, due to their importance and expansion over time, probably the one that stands out the most is the Belo Monte dam on the Xingú river, near to the city of Altamira. A multiplicity of actors are involved in this one (indigenous communities, fishing farmers, the State, Eletrobras, non-governmental organizations, indigenous confederations, construction companies, supranational institutions, etc.) whose dispute over access to water resources implies a modification of the configuration of the power relations that take place in the territory. Although it is true that its planning began in 1975, within the framework of the search for a better use of the country's hydroelectric potential, to boost economic development and energy sovereignty; the advances and setbacks in the settlement of the operation of the infrastructure have been delayed until today and probably will continue in the near future. This paper not only aims to analyze the spatio-temporal path of this controversial conflict. Furthermore, it proposes two additional objectives. On the one hand, the elaboration of a theoretical framework that combines the perspectives of the production of nature, the production of space and the construction of scale, which could be applied to the analysis of other environmental conflicts that take place in the global south. On the other hand, and consequently, through its use in the study of this particular case, it seeks to determine the strengths and weaknesses that it shows for its use in future similar works. Hitherto the most part of the works and papers related with this case study are focused in the contentious politics of social movements and communities to stop the development of the project. As well as a significant number of them mainly analyze the contradictions of PT through the Brazilian state regarding to the different social impacts of the dam. This article aims to go beyond and provide tools and categories to explain the practices, relations and structures which are involved this process. In view of this, a methodology based on bibliographic review and the use of both primary and secondary sources is proposed. Through this method, it is possible to obtain the set of practices, representations and relationships that shape the conflict itself. In turn, to achieve this end, the article is divided into four main parts. In the first one, it is exposed the articulation approach between the different categories and aspects of the theoretical gazes for their uses in the case study. In relation with the perspective of the production of nature, originally developed by Neil Smith, the categories of use value and exchange value are fundamental. These ones, through their dialectic within the production relations, modify through the pass of time the metabolism that takes place between nature and society itself, generating conflicts where these changes imply a clash between two modes of production. With this fact different values prevail over the environmental resources, whose access is sought to continue the process of social reproduction. In addition to this, the proposed framework take in count the categories of spatial practices, representations of space and spaces of representation, formulated by Henri Lefebvre, in order to explain how changes in power relations involve changes in the space in which they are inserted and vice versa. Furthermore, with the interscalar perspective proposed by several scholars that are mentioned, the possibility of explaining how phenomena and actors from different scales influence the local one during the long development of the conflict. Subsequently, in the second section of the paper, the analysis of the spatio-temporal development of the conflict is carried out, from the beginning of project planning, through the modifications carried out by the different governments, the changes in the positions of the actors, the different law resolutions, the granting of licenses and so on, until today. Thirdly, the role of hegemonic actors in advancing the construction of the hydroelectric complex is explained and detailed, for which it is not only important to analyze the different representations and narratives carried out by different governments with respect to the project of Belo Monte, but also how state hydroelectric companies (Eletrobras and Eletronorte) are affected by the entrance of foreign capital, changing over time the spatial practices that are carried out, as well as the different positions of the institution responsible for the granting of environmental licenses to allow the dam activity (IBAMA). At the end, in the last part, the same operation is made but with the subordinate actors involved, which basically would be the local and foreign non-governmental organizations, as well as the communities of indigenous, peasant and fishermen of the locality. For them, the river fundamentally supposes a use value insofar as it is used as a source of resources and transportation to maintain pre-capitalist production relations on which they are sustained. Obviously, these activities have a low exchange value produced through its limited technology to harvesting and fishing, that finally are destined for local trade. The main results which can be highlighted are related with how this dam in particular, and the different hydroelectric projects in general along the region, allow to extend spatially an economic integration through the deployment of new relations of production and mechanisms for accumulation. These ones suppose an appearance of new use values, exchange values and values that clash against the previous ones thus producing the social struggle in the local scale around the dam. Furthermore, the frameworks of the scale and the production of social space show as useful theories for its application to future cases of environmental conflicts, meanwhile the production of nature framework shows some difficulties in order to use some of its categories for the case study. ; Durante las últimas décadas en Brasil se ha producido un incremento significativo de los conflictos hidrosociales a causa de la construcción de grandes complejos hidroeléctricos. Esta extensión de grandes proyectos de carácter extractivista en la región amazónica, sobre todo a partir de finales de la década de los años ochenta del siglo pasado, han conllevado todo un conjunto de transformaciones en las relaciones sociales, productivas y reproductivas, de cara avanzar en mecanismos para la integración regional y nacional, así como para la superación de crisis de acumulación propias de la escala global. Entre todos, por su trascendencia y dilatación en el tiempo, probablemente el que más destaca es el de la represa de Belo Monte en el río Xingú, próximo a la ciudad de Altamira. En él se ven involucrados una multiplicidad de actores (comunidades indígenas, campesinos, pescadores, el estado, Eletrobras, constructoras, instituciones supranacionales, etc) cuya disputa por el acceso a los recursos hídricos supone una modificación de la configuración de las relaciones de poder que se dan en el territorio. Este artículo, además de analizar el recorrido espacio-temporal de dicho conflicto, se propone dos objetivos adicionales. Por un lado la elaboración de un marco teórico, que conjugue las perspectivas de la producción de la naturaleza, la producción del espacio y la construcción de la escala, que pueda ser aplicado al análisis de conflictos ambientales que tienen lugar en el Sur Global. Por otro lado, y en consecuencia, a través de su empleo en el estudio de este caso particular, determinar las fortalezas y debilidades que presenta para su uso en futuros trabajos similares. De cara a ello se plantea una metodología basada en la revisión bibliográfica y el uso tanto de fuentes primarias como secundarias, mediante las cuales se puedan extraer y analizar el conjunto de prácticas, representaciones y relaciones que dan forma al conflicto en sí mismo. A su vez, el artículo se divide en cuatro partes principales: el planteamiento de articulación entre las distintas categorías y aspectos de los planteamientos teóricos para su uso en el estudio de caso; el análisis del desarrollo espacio-temporal del conflicto, desde el inicio de la planificación del proyecto hasta día de hoy; en tercer lugar se explica y detalla el papel de los actores hegemónicos en el avance de la construcción del complejo hidroeléctrico; y en última instancia se lleva a cabo la misma operación pero con los actores subalternos implicados. De entre los resultados obtenidos, destaca cómo este proyecto a nivel particular, y los macroproyectos hidroeléctricos en general en la región, han sido fundamentales para la integración económica en el marco de la extensión de las relaciones de producción capitalistas y los mecanismos para la acumulación a través de la realización del plusvalor, derivando resistencias ante este proceso de extracción. Así mismo, la perspectiva interescalar y la de la producción del espacio muestran potencialidades como marco para el estudio de conflictos ambientales, mientras que el de la producción de la naturaleza lo hace de manera parcial.

There is consensus in the international community that water and sanitation are basic human rights, prerequisites for the enjoyment of the remaining rights. For this reason, international human rights law imposes on States obligations of protection, promotion and guarantee, also applicable to the defense of human rights to water and sanitation. However, the current reality is worrying, while in the Americas, high rates of disease have been documented, along with the incorporation of mining projects in protected reserve ecosystems, which transform habitat and negatively affect resources hydric. This, without delving into the people who die due to the absence of drinking water and sanitation. At the same time, the panorama is more complex when the study is carried out from an ethnic perspective, since Afro-descendant, indigenous and tribal people suffer afflictions of this type in the region in a marked way and they are especially vulnerable due to the different way in which inhabit and appropriate their territory. In general, their ancestral rituals, among other cultural values, have been affected extractive economy that is woven throughout the region. This aspects have a notable influence on the eradication of the poverty and of certain diseases, especially when Afro-descendant, indigenous and tribal people occupy an important and representative place, among people living in poverty and extreme poverty. This is an approximate panorama, it being necessary to contextualize this reference in relation to the American continent, to finally understand the pending challenges. To explain the above, a socio-legal study will be presented, based on the documentary method, but with an ethnic focus. This will be supported, among other things, in reports emanating from the universal and inter-American system for the protection of human rights, in order to understand the needs and requirements in this matter, resorting to the special rapporteurs at the United Nations Organization - UN, among them, the Special Rapporteur on the Human Rights to Safe Drinking Water and Sanitation; Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples; and the Office of the Rapporteur for the Rights of People of African Descent and against Racial Discrimination, this within the framework of the Organization of American States - OAS. Reports that are essential for the study, while reaffirming, on the one hand, the importance of safe and universal access to water for all, and on the other, the implications of affirmative actions, based on the principle of equality and non-discrimination, in parallel, in vulnerable populations. In this regard, this document studies the commitments related to human rights in the international field, in light of the standards within the framework of the universal and regional human rights system, using the international corpus iuris issued by the UN and OAS, on the right to water and sanitation. The main objective of the article is not only to make visible the challenges in the Americas for ethnic groups from the international standards of protection of human rights, in relation to water and sanitation as basic rights, but also, from an ethnic/ancestral differential approach to claim the particularities demanded by indigenous, Afro-descendant and tribal populations, as traditionally excluded and stigmatized groups. The ethnic focus is important since ethnicity as a category of analysis allows identifying distinctive features referring not only to African heritage, but also to a culture of its own with particular needs, such as the recognition of ethnic/ancestral territories and their linguistic-cultural identity. Specifically, the text studies the various conceptual and legal responses related to the problem of water and sanitation in the American continent, including international and social approaches, from different points of view, that is, the guidelines of organs, organizations, and agencies international, together with the perspective of social movements. Regarding the human right to water, the article proposes that it should be treated as a social and cultural good, and not fundamentally as an economic good. As an essential element, the human right to water is approached from four perspectives as follows: (1) availability, (2) quality, and (3) accessibility, all of them aligned to (4) the principle of equality and non-discrimination, which for the study, will be addressed independently, but interconnected to the previous ones. Regarding the human right to sanitation, it is approached from the understanding that services must be available and innocuous, acceptable, accessible and affordable. In this regard, having potable water and sanitation under equitable conditions as an essential component of the enjoyment of all human rights clearly constitutes a responsibility for all States in the region. However, in a continent like the American, characterized by having considerably large cities and very large population, with expansion and development projects that do not limit extractive industries, the situation worsens for the inhabitants of rural areas, who are usually among the poorest. Based on the above, the article is developed in five parts as follows: in the first, a contextualization of the population under study is developed. On the other hand, in a second moment the problem under study is explained, assuming as a central thesis the precariousness of the right to water and sanitation from an ethnic perspective, that is, in indigenous, Afro-descendant and tribal populations, in the panorama of Latin America and the Caribbean, despite its international recognition as a human right. In the third part, a conceptually comprehensive study is made on the human right to water and sanitation, concluding that, although they are related rights, they are independent and with their own foundations. Regarding the fourth part, it explains the international standards to understand the responsibility of the States in the Americas. Finally, the fifth part describes the findings and pending challenges in the region. In detail, the close relationship between extractivism, Afro-descendant, Indigenous and Tribal Populations in the region stands out as a conclusion placing some peoples, even in danger of extinction. This a situation that is concentrated, to a greater extent, in the rural context, rather than the urban. This makes it possible to identify, at the same time, a population nucleus more than others, where the right to drinking water and sanitation obviously does not enjoy universality. Another important and significant finding is the lack of free, prior and informed consent to the indigenous and tribal peoples in the respective governments in the region, prior to the beginning extractive projects on their ancestral land or using resources within the Afro-descendant, indigenous or tribal population's territory. On the other hand, although the situation of the States in the Americas is very heterogeneous, it is necessary that government policies at the regional level also dialogue with civil society, since these are crucial to reduce environmental degradation and pollution. ; Existe consenso en la comunidad internacional en relación a que el agua y el saneamiento son derechos humanos esenciales, prerrequisitos para el goce de los restantes derechos. Por ello, el derecho internacional de los derechos humanos impone a los estados obligaciones de protección, promoción, respeto y garantía, aplicables también a la defensa de los derechos humanos al agua y el saneamiento. Sin embargo, la realidad actual es preocupante, en tanto que, en las Américas, se han documentado índices elevados de enfermedades, junto con la incorporación de proyectos de extracción minera en ecosistemas de reserva protegida, que transforman el hábitat e inciden negativamente en los recursos hídricos. Esto, sin profundizar en las personas que fallecen por la ausencia de agua potable y saneamiento. A la par, el panorama es más complejo cuando el estudio se hace desde una perspectiva étnica, en tanto que, personas afrodescendientes, indígenas y tribales, padecen de manera acentuada afectaciones de este tipo en la región. Son personas especialmente vulnerables por la forma diferente en la que habitan y se apropian del territorio. En general, sus rituales ancestrales, entre otros valores culturales, se han visto afectados por la economía del extractivismo que se teje en toda la región. Este es un panorama aproximado, siendo necesario contextualizar este referente en lo relativo al continente americano, para entender, finalmente, los retos pendientes. Para explicar lo anterior, se presentará un estudio socio-jurídico, basado en el método documental, pero con un enfoque étnico. Este se concentra en poblaciones afrodescendientes, indígenas y tribales y está soportado, entre otras cosas, en reportes e informes emanados del sistema universal e interamericano de protección de los derechos humanos, para comprender las necesidades y exigencias en esta materia, pues preocupa que estos colectivos ocupan un lugar representativo entre las personas que viven en la pobreza y pobreza extrema. El objetivo central del artículo no solo es visibilizar los desafíos en las Américas para colectivos étnicos desde los estándares internacionales de protección de los derechos humanos, en lo relativo al agua y saneamiento como derechos básicos, sino también, desde un enfoque diferencial étnico/ancestral, reivindicar las particularidades que demandan las poblaciones indígenas, afrodescendientes y tribales, como grupos tradicionalmente excluidos y estigmatizados. El enfoque étnico es importante, en tanto que, la etnicidad como categoría de análisis permite identificar rasgos distintivos referentes no solo a la herencia africana, sino una cultura propia con necesidades particulares, como el reconocimiento de territorios étnico/ancestrales y su identidad lingüísticocultural. Puntualmente, el artículo estudia las diversas respuestas conceptuales y jurídicas, relativas a la problemática del agua y el saneamiento en el continente americano, incluidos los enfoques internacionales y sociales, desde diferentes puntos de vista, esto es, las directrices de órganos, organizaciones y organismos internacionales, junto con la perspectiva de los movimientos sociales. A partir de lo anterior, el artículo se desarrolla en cinco partes así: en la primera, se desarrolla una contextualización de la población objeto de estudio; seguidamente, se explica el planteamiento del problema, asumiendo como tesis central la precariedad del derecho al agua y saneamiento desde una perspectiva étnica. En la tercera parte, se hace un estudio conceptual del derecho humano al agua y saneamiento. En lo que respecta, a la cuarta parte, explica los estándares internacionales de protección de los derechos humanos en esta materia, para entender la responsabilidad de los estados en las Américas y, finalmente, la quinta parte describe los hallazgos y retos pendientes en la región.

The Resolution of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania on the Approval of the State Sports Development Strategy for 2011-2020 states that it is important to create and develop a horizontal structure of public administration of sport, which includes many state administration areas and municipal institutions, which would allow to develop cooperation with non-governmental sports organizations and private sector of sports activities. To create legal and economic conditions for the fast development of active and healthy lifestyle and universal sports clubs as primary subjects of the national sport system; to promote their contribution to non-formal sports education and employment of children and young people, development of various sports, interaction between amateur and professional sports. In this respect, the tasks have been set to create a multi-tier system of strategic cooperation with non-governmental sport organizations (federations) with public administration structures, to expand cooperation between municipal institutions in the field of sport, authorized by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania (hereinafter referred to as the Government) so that these resolutions include the National Sport for All Development Program implementation, enhancing the vitality of communities through sport, ensuring healthy lifestyle conditions and developing sports infrastructure through territorial planning documents and investment programs; to create and develop a system of partnerships in the field of sport between public and private sectors; to develop cooperation between institutions of all fields of management by developing and implementing physical activity, healthy lifestyles and work ability, social cohesion through sport, leisure employment and social prevention and other interinstitutional programs, accordingly reorganizing and expanding functions of the institution authorized by the Government, strengthening its administrative capacity. The implementation of the strategy is particularly relevant, as is the case at the level of municipal administrations and councils, to which functions are delegated to implement the priority functions of sport policy. Problems in the implementation of sport policy are analyzed by scientists as well as representatives of sports policy legislators (Tukkula, 2016; Pollitt and Bouckaert, 2003, Houlihan, 2005, Grix et al, 2018, etc.). The aim of the research is to analyze how the sports policy of the Republic of Lithuania is formulated and implemented in the activities of municipal administrations and councils. Research methods -analysis of scientific literature, analysis of laws, analysis of sports management system. Research results and conclusions. The real role of municipalities and the priority to develop community sport, to promote the vitality of communities has not been realized yet. The role of private business for private investment in sports infrastructure for the development of sports movement and cooperation with socially responsible business representatives, the independent role of clubs and non-governmental organizations as a priority have also not been understood and finally not implemented. In the functional division of activities in the sport policy process, all chains of interaction between organizations, acting within the competence, must strive to implement laws and strategic goals of sports policy. In order to achieve these objectives, the activities of the institutions depend on the political decisions adopted jointly by the central government, public programs and projects. It is important that the executive structures are delegated the same kind of functions, so that the implementation of the policy is carried out consistently in all areas of the republic.Improvement of the process of implementing sports policy and the search for the improvement, trying to achieve the efficiency of activities of municipal administrations and councils must be the main goal of all institutions involved in it. The whole system of institutions involved in the development and implementation of sport policy is too centralized. Institutional differences in the management of interdependence and in the resolution of structural problems between national organizations and municipal organizations are very pronounced. Целью исследования является анализ того, как формируется и реализуется политика спорта Литовской Республики в деятельности муниципальных администраций и советов. Методы исследования - анализ научной литературы, анализ законов, анализ системы спортивного менеджмента. Результаты и выводы исследования. Реальная роль муниципалитетов и приоритетность развития общественного спорта, повышения жизнеспособности сообществ, не были реализованы. Роль частного бизнеса в спортивную инфраструктуру для развития спортивного движения и сотрудничество с социально ответственным бизнесом, независимая роль клубов и неправительственных организаций в качестве приоритета остается недостаточно осмысленна и неосуществлена. При функциональном разделении видов деятельности в процессе спортивной политики все цепи взаимодействия между организациями, действующими в пределах своей компетенции, должны стремиться к реализации законов и стратегических целей спортивной политики. В достижения этих целей деятельность учреждений зависит от принимаемых совместно центральным правительством политических решений, государственных программ и проектов. Важно, чтобы исполнительным структурам были делегированы одинаковые функции, а реализация политики осуществлялась последовательно во всех областях республики. Совершенствование процесса реализации спортивной политики и поиск повышения эффективности муниципальных администраций и советов должны быть главной целью всех учреждений, участвующих в нем. Вся система учреждений, занимающихся разработкой и реализацией спортивной политики, слишком централизована. Институциональные различия в управлении и в решении структурных проблем между национальными организациями и муниципальными организациями очень заметны. Las vías terciarias juegan un papel muy importante para Colombia, ya que mediante estas vías se puede llegar a las zonas más alejadas y marginales del país, estas conexiones permiten la integración nacional, regional y local, las cuales repercuten directamente en la economía de los municipios, y aun más de los hogares rurales, ya que mediante estas vías se permite el movimiento de personas, alimentos y mercancías que ayudan al desarrollo del país. Actualmente está malla vial se encuentra bajo la gestión de INVIAS, departamentos y los municipios, donde el Gobierno a lo largo de la historia ha intentado impulsar diferentes proyectos para realizar mejoras sobre esta infraestructura; actualmente estas vías son uno de los grandes focos nacionales, teniendo en cuenta que, de los 140.000 km de vías terciarias, solo el 6% se encuentra en buen estado. Teniendo en cuenta que estas vías se encuentran en lugares de difícil acceso, y Colombia cuenta con diversos tipos de climas, pasando por bajas temperaturas hasta llegar a climas húmedos con temperaturas altas, es necesario plantear alternativas de pavimentación, donde se pueda utilizar los materiales de cada región, que sean poco sensibles al clima y que se pueda implementar equipos simples, herramientas de fácil consecución y usos de mano de obra con baja capacitación; es por esto, que dentro de esta monografía se propone implementar pavimentos de concreto denominado como losas optimizadas, los cuales en primer lugar, son menos sensibles a la capacidad de soporte del suelo teniendo en cuenta que los esfuerzos se distribuyen en áreas más grandes por lo tanto las solicitaciones que llegan al suelo son bajas. Y en segundo lugar al tener pavimentos de concreto las deformaciones de las losas son bajas, lo que permite la circulación de cargas pesadas sin que el pavimento se deforme. Las losas optimizadas, es una tecnología desarrollada por El Ingeniero Chileno, Juan Pablo Covarrubias, donde propone reemplazar las metodologías de pavimento de concreto tradicional como AASHTO y PCA, por un sistema de losas con geometría optimizada que permiten una distribución más eficiente de la carga para evitar los problemas de agrietamiento, donde el principio fundamental del método consiste en diseñar el tamaño de la losa para que no más de un set de ruedas del vehículo se encuentre en una determinada losa, minimizando así la tensión de tracción crítica; las dimensiones propuestas son de 1,80 m x 1,80m. En el siguiente trabajo se realizaron 180 modelaciones, donde se tienen 3 cartas de diseño basadas cada una en un clima diferente (8°C a15°C, 15°C a 25°C y 25°C a 32°C), dentro de cada carta se utilizaron los mismos parámetros para la estructura de pavimento como se presenta a continuación: • Subrasante: Se escogieron 5 tipos de subrasante, pasando de suelos blandos con módulos bajos a suelos de buena calidad con módulos altos (30, 40, 50, 60 y 80 MPa). • Subbase granular: Se estableció un espesor único de 15 cm, donde con los módulos de subrasante se calculó mediante la fórmula de Shell; el módulo que generaba el material de subbase (60, 80, 100, 120 y 160 MPa respectivamente). • Transito: Se adoptaron 5 diferentes tránsitos en ejes equivalentes (50.000, 100.000, 300.000, 500.000 y 700.000 EE). • Losa de concreto: Se establecieron 3 módulos de rotura del concreto (3.8, 4.1 y 4.3 MPa), y se dejaba iterando el espesor de la losa. Mediante estas modelaciones se encontraron espesores entre 10 cm y 18 cm, siendo el factor del clima el que menos afecta al cálculo del espesor, teniendo en cuenta que al tener losas de menores dimensiones el alabeo es mucho menor, lo que genera una vida útil mayor a las losas convencionales (3.5 a 4 m), por otra parte, uno de los fatores que más importancia tiene dentro del diseño, es la rigidez de la subbase y subrasante, ya que al tener espesores más delgados el material granular ayuda con las tensiones de punzonamiento, de acuerdo a la afirmación anterior, al realizar la comparación de los resultados de las modelaciones entre un material granular blando (subrasante: 30 MPa y Subbase: 60 MPa) vs un material granular de buenas características (subrasante: 80 MPa y Subbase: 160 MPa) se obtienen diferencias de aproximadamente 3 cm, lo que equivale a un 20% de diferencia. Finalmente, al realizar la comparación en presupuesto entre una losa optimizada de dimensiones de 1.8 m x 1.8 para una vía de 3.6 m de ancho, de espesor variable entre 10, 15 y 18 cm vs una placa huella, con el espesor tipo de 15 cm, utilizando los mismos costos y características, se observa un ahorro de aproximadamente $197.553.390/km, $94.383.894/km y $32.482.196/km respectivamente, siendo siempre inferior al presupuesto de una placa huella, generando que esta alternativa de pavimento se viable para la construcción de las vías de BVT. In the following work 180 modeling was carried out, where 3 design cards are based each in a different climate (8 ° C to 15 ° C, 15 ° C to 25 ° C and 25 ° C to 32 ° C), within Each letter used the same parameters for the pavement structure as presented below: • Subgrade: 5 types of subgrade were chosen, moving from soft floors with low modules to good quality floors with high modules (30, 40, 50, 60 and 80 MPa). • Granular subbase: A single thickness of 15 cm was established, where with the subgrade modules it was calculated using the Shell formula; the module that generated the subbase material (60, 80, 100, 120 and 160 MPa respectively). • Transit: 5 different transits were adopted on equivalent axes (50,000, 100,000, 300,000, 500,000 and 700,000 EE). • Concrete slab: 3 concrete break modules (3.8, 4.1 and 4.3 MPa) were established, and the thickness of the slab was left iterating. Finally, when making the comparison in budget between an optimized slab of dimensions of 1.8 mx 1.8 for a track of 3.6 m wide, of varying thickness between 10, 15 and 18 cm vs a footprint plate, with the type thickness of 15 cm, using the same costs and characteristics, a saving of approximately $ 197,553,390 / km, $ 94,383,894 / km and $ 32,482,196 / km respectively is observed, always being lower than the budget of a footprint plate, generating that this alternative of pavement is viable for the construction of the BVT tracks. Jevrejski istorijski muzej (JIM) u Beogradu predstavlјa jednu celovitu, po mnogo čemu jedinstvenu muzejsku ustanovu u Srbiji. To je jedini jevrejski muzej u našoj zemlјi, tematski specijalizovan, a sadržajno veoma kompleksan. Osim muzejskog materijala, Jevrejski istorijski muzej ima sopstveni, srazmerno veliki arhiv čija dokumentacija i foto-dokumentacija svedoči kako o Holokaustu, u kojem su mnoge jevrejske opštine bukvalno nestale, tako i o životu i aktivnostima jevrejskih zajednica iz Srbije i sa teritorije cele bivše Jugoslavije u 19, još više 20. veku, uklјučujući i savremene periode. Jevrejski istorijski muzej je osnovan 1948. godine u okviru Saveza jevrejskih opština bivše Jugoslavije. Zanimlјiva je činjenica da je ideja o osnivanju muzeja ovakvog tipa mnogo starija. Već posle prvog Redovnog kongresa Saveza jevrejskih veroispovednih opština Kralјevine Srba, Hrvata i Slovenaca održanog 1921. godine u Zagrebu, bilo je predloga i planova za stvaranje muzeja - pravog mesta za čuvanje jevrejske baštine i kulturnog identiteta. Ipak, ova ideja nije ostvarena. Imajući u vidu Drugi svetski rat i događaje koju su usledili počev od 1941. godine u Jugoslaviji, sa ove vremenske distance, može se slobodno reći da je ״sreća u nesreći" što jevrejski muzej nije tada osnovan. Pošto je uspeo da se obnovi, kao vodeća institucija preživelih jevrejskih opština oslobođene Republike Jugoslavije, Savez se, u jesen 1945. godine, obratio svojim članicama sa molbom da prikupe sve raspoložive podatke o Holokaustu i učešću Jevreja u Norodnooslobodilačkoj borbi. Bio je to prvi, ali sasvim konkretan korak ka muzeju. Relativno brzo, u Zagrebu je formiran Muzejsko-istorijski odsek u okviru Pravnog odelјenja Saveza. Otpočelo je sistematsko traganje za sačuvanom arhivskom građom. Godine 1952. do tada sakuplјena građa je preselјena u Beograd, kada se nastavilo sa traganjem i sakuplјanjem. ״Odsek" je počeo da se razvija u pravcu kompletne muzejske ustanove. Te 1952. godine, organizovana je izložba povodom otkrivanja impresivnog spomenika Bogdana Bogdanovića na sefardskom groblјu u Beogradu, posvećenog jevrejskim žrtvama Holokausta. Povodom obeležavanja desetogodišnjice obnove, Savez je 1955. postavio još jednu izložbu o radu celokupne jevrejske zajednice u tadašnjoj Jugoslaviji. Za sve to vreme, kao osnivač i vlasnik Muzeja, Savez je bio u stalnom kontaktu sa svim svojim jevrejskim opštinama, obnovlјenim posle neviđenog stradanja 1941-1945. godine. Za zajednički Muzej i dalјe su stizali materijali koji su se odnosili na istoriju jugoslovenskih Jevreja. Pozivu Saveza su se odazivali i pojedinci, preživeli Jevreji koji su donosili poneki predmet ili porodične fotografije, kolekcionari čije su zbirke opstale sakrivene, i drugi . Mnogi su Muzeju zaveštali predmete iz porodičnih kuća od istorijskog, etnološkog ili umetničkog značaja, a povremeno je vršen i otkup eksponata, u zavisnosti od trenutnih uslova. Počev od datuma osnivanja, pa do 1959. godine, sakuplјen je muzejski i arhivski materijal, dovolјan da se iste godine otvori lepa, slikovita - prva stalna, muzejska postavka. Na dan 19. maja 1960. godine, za javnost je otvoren Muzej Saveza jevrejskih opština Jugoslavije, u istoj zgradi u kojoj je i Savez. Posle izvesnog vremena, naziv muzeja je preinačen u Jevrejski istorijski muzej (JIM), što mnogo više odgovara njegovoj nameni i sadržaju. Sa sakuplјanjem i stručnom obradom materijala se nastavilo, pa je 1969. godine otvorena druga stalna postavka Jevrejskog istorijskog muzeja, znatno bogatija i izražajnija. Za njenu koncepciju je bila zaslužna prof. dr Vidosava Nedomački, prvi upravnik Muzeja. Posle raspada Jugoslavije 1992. godine, formiran je Savez jevrejskih opština Srbije u kojem se okupilo deset jevrejskih opština, koliko ih ukupno ima u našoj zemlјi. Status Jevrejskog istorijskog muzeja ostao je isti - on je deo Saveza jevrejskih opština Srbije. Iako je u sastavu Saveza, Muzej se razvio u instituciju za sebe, sa svojim specifičnim životom, svojom stručnom ekipom i svojim poslovnim kontaktima sa drugim muzejima. S obzirom na to da je stalna izložbena postavka Muzeja otvorena mnogo pre raspada Jugoslavije, ona se bavi istorijskim, etnološkim i opštekulturnim temama vezanim za jevrejstvo celokupnog nekadašnjeg jugoslovenskog područja. Usled teških političkih i ekonomskih problema koji su, počev od 1992. godine pritiskali našu zemlјu, Srbiju, nisu se zasad stekli uslovi za izradu nove, drugačije koncipirane postavke. Međutim, ako imamo u vidu činjenicu da su Jevreji ovog dela Balkana imali zajedničku istoriju i kulturna obeležja - onda je neizbežno da i koncept nove postavke zadrži, bar delimično, širi pristup u svojoj budućoj prezentaciji. Yet, the idea had not materialized. Having in mind the World War II and the events that followed from 1941 in Yugoslavia, from this time perspective one could say that it is, in fact, a lucky coincidence that the Jewish museum had not been founded at that time. After the Federation managed to revive itself as the leading institution of the surviving Jewish communities of the liberated Republic of Yugoslavia, in autumn of 1945, it invited its members to collect all data available about the Holocaust and the participation of Jews in the National Liberation Movement. This was the first and very specific step towards founding a museum. Relatively soon afterwards, the Museum - Historical Department was established in Zagreb within the Legal Division of the Federation. Systematic efforts to identify and preserve the archives began. In 1952 all the archives collected until that time were moved to Belgrade, and the search and collection efforts continued. The ״Department" was beginning to develop towards a full museum institution. The same уеаг, 1952, an exhibition was organized on the occasion of launching the impressive monument by artist Bogdan Bogdanovic at the Sephardic cemetery in Belgrade, dedicated to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust. On the occasion of commemorating the tenth anniversary of its revival, in 1955, the Federation staged another exhibition on the topic of activities of the whole Jewish community in the then Yugoslavia. During that period, the Federation, as the founder and owner of the Museum, was in permanent contact with all the member Jewish communities that were revitalized after the unprecedented persecution during the period 1941-1945. The Museum continued to receive materials relevant to the history of Yugoslav Jews. The individual, surviving Jews also responded to the invitation of the Museum and contributed individual exhibits and family photographs, and there were contributions from collectors whose collections were hidden and preserved, and others as well. Маnу of them made legacies to the Museum containing artefacts from their families and homes, and these legacies possessed historical, ethnological and artistic value; also depending on its resources available the Museum on occasions also purchased exhibits. On 19 Мау 1960, the Museum of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Yugoslavia was opened to the public, in the same building which presently houses the Federation. Soon afterwards, the name of the Museum was changed to The Jewish Historical Museum (JHM), which is much better suited to its purpose and content. The collection and professional processing of collected materials continued, so that in 1969 the second permanent exhibition of the Jewish Historical Museum, much richer and more expressive, was presented. The credit for its concept goes to Vidosava Nedomacki, Ph.D., the first Museum Manager. After the disintegration of Yugoslavia in 1992, The Federation of Jewish Communities of Serbia was established, consisting of ten Jewish communities, which is the total existing in our country. The status of the Jewish Historical Museum remained unchanged - it is an integral part of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Serbia. Although existing within the framework of the Federation, the Museum developed into an institution of its own right, living its own specific life, its professional team and business contacts with other museums. Since the permanent exhibition of the Museum was opened long before the disintegration of Yugoslavia, it deals with the historical, ethnological and general cultural topics relevant to the Jewery of the overall then Yugoslav region. Due to the grave political and economic difficulties which, beginning in 1992, overwhelmed our country, Serbia, it has not yet been possible to develop a new, differently designed museum exhibition. However, having in mind the fact that the Jews from this part of the Balkans have had a common history and cultural features - it is unavoidable that the concept of such a new exhibition should maintain, at least partially, a more comprehensive approach to such a presentation which will develop in the future. The relevance of the study has two sides — individual and general. In its essential aspect, it is the development of achievements of predecessors by consistently taking into account the latest data on trends and changes in the interconnected spheres of education, economics and culture. In the individual aspect, it is about improving the professional means of improving the efficiency of teaching foreign languages in order to form students with a high level of linguistic-professional competence. Public relevance is the goal of educating young people in a new patriotic direction, because today, due to various global influences, the classical principles of life in the agrarian system (in which Ukrainians have a good national heritage), created in recent centuries, or in the industrial society, are devalued due to various global influences.The purpose of the study in a broad sense was to highlight the causes and consequences of the European religious Reformation as the main factor in accelerating the movement of the whole of Western Europe to the position of the world leader that previously belonged to China. We see precise tasks in the integrated analysis on the basis of the latest discoveries of many humanities and exact sciences in the educational, economic and cultural systems of Germany and other successful European states. On this basis, we hope to fulfill the public task which is to make significant proposals in the plans and practice of higher education reform in Ukraine. The methodology of the study relies on the best classical means, on the principle of historicism and the continuity of the connection between the material and the ideal, a modern multidisciplinary approach. For the highest effectiveness of the research, we will use the latest scientific data and recommendations of the innovators who collect and use these data. The results of the study mostly follow from the mentioned new discoveries. They testify that in ancientt history, in the role of locomotives of civilizational progress in the western part of Eurasia, direct descendants of the inventors of agriculture acted, among which the especially great contribution (domestication of the horse, the invention of the wheel and the efficient metallurgy of copper) belongs to the ancestors of Ukrainians from the territories of Trypillya and the Great Trypillya. It is indicated that during the existence of the Great Trypillya, future German farmers acquainted themselves with the technologies of the Great Trypillya, so the German language, through borrowed words, became part of the Indo-European family. It is noted that after the collapse of the Great Trypillya, the Germans and Slavs became neighbors along the meridian Elbe. In the age of steppe invasions, future Ukrainians and Germanic tribes did not get in contact, and the influence of the Roman Empire was mostly experienced by western lands. Emphasis was placed on the evolution of ideological, religious and other paradigms in the territory of Germany after the collapse of the Holy Roman Empire, which determined the development of the nation for the next hundreds of years. The religious and philosophical paradigmatic origins of those unique features of culture and education that during the nineteenth century were emphasized. brought Germany to the position of the scientific and technological leader of the world. The high role of German neo-humanism and the Berlin Research University were noted. In the final section, special attention is paid to religious issues and to the destructive impact on social and other processes in the German immigration flows of Islamists. The conclusions focus on the competition of several important paradigms in the education of modern Germany and the proposals made to incorporate German experience in legislation and the use of the Bologna process. An important caution is made regarding the choice of Germany's strategy for the development of the scientific and educational complex 'within the framework of the Lisbon project (2000). This country has become a world leader not only in alternative energy, but also in the implementation of the fourth industrial revolution. Общественную актуальность составляет воспитание молодежи в новом патриотическом направлении, ведь настоящее через различные глобальные влияния обесценивает созданные в последние века классические основы жизнедеятельности в аграрном (здесь украинцы имеют хороший национальный наследству) или индустриальном обществе. Целью исследования в широком аспекте мы выбрали изучение причин и последствий европейской религиозной Реформации как главного фактора ускорения движения всей Западной Европы в положение мирового лидера, ранее принадлежавшее Китаю. Конкретные задачи мы видим в интегральном анализе на основе новейших открытий многих гуманитарных и точных наук событий в образовательных, экономических и культурных системах Германии и других успешных европейских государств. На этой основе мы надеемся выполнить общегражданскую задачу - внести весомые предложения в планы и практику реформ высшего образования Украины. Методология исследования опирается на лучшие классические средства, на принцип историзма и неразрывность связи материального и идеального, современный мультидисциплинарний подход. Для высшей результативности исследования воспользуемся новейшими научными данными и рекомендациями ученых-инноваторов, которые и накапливают эти данные и используют их. Они свидетельствуют, что в долетописные времена в роли локомотивов цивилизационного прогресса в западной части Евразии выступали прямые потомки изобретателей земледелия, среди которых особенно большой вклад (одомашнивание лошади, изобретение колеса и эффективной металлургии меди) принадлежит предкам украинцев с территории Триполья и Большого Триполья. Указано, что уже во время существования Большого Триполья будущие немцы-земледельцы знакомились с технологиями Большого Триполья, поэтому немецкий язык через заимствованные слова вошел в состав индоевропейской семьи. Отмечено, что после распада Большого Триполья немцы и славяне стали соседями по меридиану Эльбы. В век степных нашествий будущие украинцы и германские племена контактировали мало, а влияние Римской империи испытали преимущественно западные земли. В выводах акцентировано внимание на конкуренцию нескольких важных парадигм в образовании современной Германии и сделаны предложения учета в Украине немецкого опыта в законодательстве и в использовании Болонского процесса. Сделано важное предостережение по выбору Германией стратегии развития научно-образовательного комплекса в рамках Лиссабонского проекта (2000 г.). Підкреслено релігійні та філософські парадигмальні витоки тих унікальних рис культури та освіти, які впродовж ХІХ ст. вивели Німеччину на позицію наукового й технологічного лідера світу. Відзначена висока роль німецького неогуманізму і Берлінського дослідницького університету. У заключній частині особлива увага звернута на релігійні питання і на деструктивний вплив на соціальні та інші процеси в Німеччині імміграційних потоків ісламістів. У висновках акцентовано конкуренцію кількох важливих парадигм в освіті сучасної Німеччини і зроблені пропозиції врахування в Україні німецького досвіду у законодавстві та у використанні Болонського процесу. Зроблено важливе застереження щодо вибору Німеччиною стратегії розвитку науково-освітнього комплексу в рамках Лісабонського проекту (2000 р.).
