La investigación realizada se planteó como objetivo determinar la relación entre pensamiento creativo, pensamiento crítico e inteligencia emocional en alumnos de la Escuela Militar de Chorrillos, año 2019. El enfoque utilizado en la investigación fue el cuantitativo, con tipo de investigación sustantiva o de base, diseño descriptivo correlacional y método hipotético deductivo. La muestra del estudio se conformó con 4ª alumnos de la Institución Educativa en mencionada. La técnica utilizada fue la encuesta, los instrumentos que permitieron recabar la información respectiva fueron: Cuestionario sobre pensamiento creativo, cuestionario sobre pensamiento crítico y cuestionario sobre inteligencia emocional. En base a los resultados obtenidos se pudo concluir en que: Existe relación significativa entre pensamiento creativo, pensamiento crítico e inteligencia emocional en alumnos de la Escuela Militar de Chorrillos, año 2019. ; The research carried out was aimed at determining the relationship between creative thinking, critical thinking and emotional intelligence in students of the Military School of Chorrillos, year 2019. The approach used in the research was quantitative, with substantive or basic research type, Descriptive correlational design and deductive hypothetical method. The study sample was made up of 4 students of the Educational Institution mentioned. The technique used was the survey, the instruments that allowed to collect the respective information were: Creative thinking questionnaire, critical thinking questionnaire and emotional intelligence questionnaire. Based on the results obtained, it could be concluded that: There is a significant relationship between creative thinking , critical thinking and emotional intelligence in students of the Chorrillos Military School, year 2019.

This thesis is comprised of two independent essays on the topics of impact evaluation, and one essay on the housing wealth-effect. The essays address key questions on welfare and spending decisions made by households when subject to government assistance programs and increases in housing prices. The first essay deals with a large scale pro-poor government assistance program in Kenya. It studies the impact of extension services on rural households, to understand whether the SIDA-funded program led to sustainable improvements in the treated households' livelihoods. The results suggest that the treated households increased fertilizer dosage, and had higher household expenditures. However, the treatment did not impact farming revenues and output. The second essay investigates a novel labelled cash transfer program in agriculture in Kenya. This essay documents the impacts of the program to draw a relationship between the treatment and farm output and revenue, as well as basic welfare indicators at the household level. The results show that while household expenditures were higher following the reception of the labelled cash transfer, farm yields and revenues were not improved by the intervention. The third essay analyses the relationship between housing prices and consumer debt in the Canadian province of British Columbia. Using administrative data and an implementation of the Arellano-Bond estimator, this essay shows that, even as residential property values climbed very rapidly, consumers did not engage in additional non-mortgage debt, in particular consumers who planned to stay in their home for the following twelve months.

In this interview, the Mexican composer Hilda Paredes talks about the political and ethical concerns which are involved in her music. She shares her thoughts about the relationship between her music and contemporary Mexican indigenous poetry, the connexion between gender issues and social justice, the burden of racism, the embodied experience of violence, the destruction of language, and the relationship her creative process has with environmental concerns. We discuss these issues in relation to several of her works, in particular Kamex ch'ab (2010), El Palacio imaginado (2003), La tierra de la miel (2013), Harriet (2018) and Rainy days (2019). The result is an exploration of how she tackles in each work these issues by constructing networks of events, places and people. ; En esta entrevista, la compositora mexicana Hilda Paredes habla de las preocupaciones políticas y éticas que están implicadas en su música. Expone sus ideas sobre la relación de su música con la poesía indígena mexicana, la conexión entre cuestiones de género y la justicia social, el peso del racismo, la experiencia corporal de la violencia, la destrucción del lenguaje, y la relación que tiene su proceso creativo con preocupaciones medioambientales. The Ghana Health Service is working to build a happy work force to run the organization's well-being. In fact, if an employee feels happy with the work, then an employee is motivated to put more effort into results. Employees of the hospitals of the Ghana Health Service can accomplish the requirements of job satisfaction by taking. There have been numerous strikes by Doctors, Nurses, Health Assistants in Ghana since they were dissatisfied with pay, promotion, working conditions, development policies, care given to doctors and many other factors. These have warranted the need to examine the effects of the determinants of Job satisfaction on employee performance using Teaching Hospitals in Ghana. The sample comprise 300 respondents from selected teaching Hospitals in Ghana. The research analysed the data with statistical package for social science (SPSS), descriptive and statistical regression model with the use of structured questionnaires. The research finds positive relationship between Employee performance and the determinants to Job satisfaction. This implies that, employees' compensation and benefits, working conditions, Job safety and security, promotion, and relationship with supervisors, and workers are positively related with employee's performance and the effect is statistically significant. Therefore, in order to enhance the employee performance in the teaching Hospitals in Ghana, the government should focus on all determinants of job satisfaction and not only on any one of these factors. In addition, management of the company should provide good working conditions for its employees, so as to boost their morale. Certain policy recommendations were discussed.

ABSTRACT The success of a company is supported by the role of a leader with his leadership style. The application of leadership is very influential on employee work motivation because to meet their needs requires the support from a leader. Occupational safety and health (OHS) programs are very important because when employees give a good perception of occupational safety and health programs, OHS behavior tends to be good. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of leadership style with work motivation, employee performance, and health safety perception in Cendana Water Treatment Plant of PDAM Tirta Kencana, Samarinda City. This type of analytic survey research with cross sectional approach was conducted in July 2019. The research sample of 54 people (total sampling) and data analysis using Pearson correlation test with significance level (α<0,05). The results showed that as many as 34 employees rated the authoritarian leadership style with most employees having low and high motivation (p-value 0,022), as many as 20 employees having moderate performance (p-value 0,008), as many as 21 employees having good OHS perceptions (p-value 0,000). It was concluded that there was a relationship between leadership style with work motivation, leadership style with employee performance, and leadership style with K3 perception in Cendana Water Treatment Plant of PDAM Tirta Kencana, Samarinda City. The leader must be able to apply a more effective leadership style, for example applying a democratic leadership style that always receives input and advice from his subordinates. Background; Adolescent Reproductive Health (15-24 years), 8% of young men agree to premarital sexual relations, and only 1% of young women. PKBI East Kalimantan (2008), among 300 adolescents (ages 13-20 years), 12% of respondents claimed to have had sex, 56% of them had sex like husband and wife, and most were high school / vocational high school students. Aim; The aim of this study was to determine the factors associated with premarital sexual behavior in high school students in Samarinda City. Research outputs can be: Modules, International Journals, Seminars, Flip sheets and Leaflets on Premarital Sexual Behavior in Adolescents, Method; The study used a cross sectional approach with a sample of 356 in 9 high schools and vocational schools in Samarinda, using the Slovin sample formula Results; 1) There is a significant relationship between attitude, religiosity, and parenting factors with premarital sexual behavior among high school students in the city of Samarinda. 2) There is no significant relationship between information source factors and premarital sexual behavior among high school students in Samarinda City. Conclusion; 1) It is very necessary to instill the values of good and positive attitudes for adolescents, especially in high school students as a reinforcement of premarital sexual understanding and its effects, 2) There needs to be an increase in fostering the appreciation and practice of religious values in schools and the implementation of religious obligations while at both at school and at home, 3) Open communication relations between parents and children are needed in order to implement good and democratic parenting.

Preparing inmates for re-integration into the community is one of the primary goals of prisons and jails. However, the problems of care and rehabilitation of inmates is a major social problem in almost all the security custodial services in Nigeria. Sokoto Medium Security Custodial Centre in particular needs much attention. Medium Security Custodial Centre in Sokoto today holds more than its capacity and insufficiency of funds has made the upkeep of the inmates a difficult task. Despite various reforms embarked by government geared towards care and rehabilitation of prisoners in Nigeria, the conditions of these inmates left much to be desired as the inmates are faced with moral condemnation and rejection from the society. The study attempts examination of the condition of the inmates as well as the rehabilitation programmes available at the custodial centre. The research was purely a quantitative study. Data were collected through the use of questionnaire and interview schedule. A total of 264 questionnaires were administered, 220 were retrieved and analysed using descriptive statistics, specifically using percentages, distribution tables, charts, means, Likert-type scale and other measures of central tendencies by the help of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS version 22). The research found that the living condition of inmates in Sokoto Medium Security Custodial Centre is very poor, and that there is a relationship between the general condition of the inmates and the effectiveness of the rehabilitation of inmates in the Centre, as well as a relationship between the methods of rehabilitation and its effectiveness on inmates

Every agency or organization definitely needs a positive image or good among the public. A good image is a need of an agency or organization, so this is one of the tasks carried out by public relations through the programs carried out. Because the success gained by an agency is inseparable from public relations who are able to run its role well. For the sake of creating a positive image, public relations must be able to carry out its role properly, because BPSDM is an agency tasked with educating the state civil apparatus before carrying out duties according to his position. So here public relations must be able to create, build, improve and maintain the image of the organization among the public. Public relations has the obligation to develop a harmonious relationship with the public because this is a public relations activity to build a good relationship to create a good image. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of public relations in enhancing a positive image in the government agency BPSDM East Java Province. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The subjects of this study were 3 public relations staff. Data analysis here uses the Miles and Huberman models using source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the role of BPSDM public relations in East Java Province namely as a communication facilitator, expert advisor, problem solving facilitator and communication technician has been going well.Keywords: positive image; public relations.

The role of entrepreneurship in post-conflict reconstruction is largely understudied. Micro and Small livestock enterprises play an important economic and socio-cultural role amongst many Kenyan communities. The objective of this study was to establish the moderating effect of post-conflict reconstruction on the relationship between indigenous entrepreneurship and economic development in Turkana County. This study is anchored on institutional theory. Positivism and phenomenology paradigms and a cross sectional research design was adopted. The target population was all micro and small livestock enterprises that are registered members of the Livestock Marketing Association (LMA) in Turkana County; comprising of 598 livestock enterprises. A sample of 339 micro and small livestock enterprises were selected for the study using simple random sampling techniques. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics like mean, standard deviation, cumulative variance, Skewness, Kurtosis, ANOVA and regression analyses. The results revealed that Post-conflict reconstruction has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between indigenous entrepreneurship and economic development in Turkana county, (F=50.22, P=0.000). The study suggests legislation of laws and policies by the national and County governments, prohibiting acquisition of small arms. Policy initiatives should support indigenous livestock enterprises for instance, creation of a suitable environment for these businessesto obtain credit. Itstime both levels of governments enhance their environmental factors to lower uncertainty, raise indigenous livestock entrepreneurs to participate at the global economy, attracting FDI, private sector development, employment, increased exports and finally spur economic development through huge investments in health, education while impacting wealth levels.

anemon ; This study investigates the association between financial development, trade openness, economic growth (GDP), and environmental quality (CO2) in Cameroon from 1980-2016. To examine the relevance of the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC), the squared of GDP is included in the model. The Johansen-Juselius co-integration tests demonstrate that a robust long-run relationship exists between the variables. Specifically, GDP influences carbon dioxide emissions negatively, while GDP squares positively. The Granger causality tests further indicate that the GDP and GDP squared caused CO2 emissions uni-directionally in the short-run with no feedback. The findings settled that the EKC, with a U-shape relationship, is relevant in Cameroon. Therefore, it is recommended that the government focus on implementing policies that raise growth with minimal emissions of pollution. ; Bu çalışma 1980-2016 dönemi Kamerun'un finansal gelişme, ticaret açıklığı, ekonomik büyüme (GSYH) ve çevre kalitesi (CO2) arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırmaktadır. The title of this research is "The Role of The Indonesian Militer In The Development of The Territorial (Case Study in Sungai Ceper Village, Sungai Menang District, Ogan Komering Ilir District)". TNI in the context of defending territory, assisting the tasks of regional governments based on Law Number 34 of 2004 concerning the TNI in the development of physical or non-physical communities, territorial development, community empowerment in territorial / remote / remote areas and improving the welfare of the community through TNI Manunggal Building Village (TMMD) program. The purpose of this research is to find out how the relationship between military and civilian is formed through the TNI Manunggal Building Village (TMMD) program and the implementation of the TNI Manunggal Building Village activities when viewed from a human security approach. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with stages, namely interviews, observation, documentation. Meanwhile, the source of this research is primary data sources. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that, physical achievements in the implementation of the TNI Manunggal Building Villages have been carried out based on the target, but there is one thing that makes constraints in achieving these targets. Then, the relationship between the military and civilians was well established because through the TNI Manunggal Building Village program, and the closer cooperation between the TNI and the Government. Then, through this activity the target area community is able to obtain aspects of the human security approach in the form of personal security.

This research reviews the relationship between the Communist Youth of Chile and the university student movement between 2000 and 2011, identifying the transformations in the communist identity generated by this process. In addition, elements of the organization's influence on this student movement were identified. The changes experienced from this relationship highlight the relevance that the student space acquired for the JJ.CC. which developed political-programmatic proposals that aimed the questioning of neoliberalism in education. For their part, the JJ.CC. developed a pragmatic sense of their political work from the need to open to other actors, which brought the organization out of the isolation in which it moved during the first years of the 1990s and 2000s. ; En este trabajo se revisa la relación entre las Juventudes Comunistas de Chile (JJ.CC.) y el movimiento estudiantil universitario entre los años 2000 y 2011, identificando las transformaciones en la identidad comunista que este proceso generó. Complementariamente se identificaron elementos de la influencia de la organización sobre el mismo movimiento estudiantil. Los cambios experimentados a partir de esta relación destacan la relevancia que adquirió el espacio estudiantil para las JJ.CC., desde donde se desarrollaron propuestas políticas-programáticas que apuntaron al cuestionamiento del neoliberalismo en la educación. Por su parte, las JJ.CC. desarrollaron un sentido pragmático de su quehacer político a partir de la necesidad de abrirse a otros actores, lo cual sacó a la organización del aislamiento en el que se movió durante los primeros años de la década de 1990 y 2000.

The development of adequate transportation facilities in an area will affect improving the quality of the economy, education, and health on the quality of life of its people. The Jateng Provincial Government is developing public transportation facilities through the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) system, which is expected to be the leading transportation choice for the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and perceived price fairness on customer loyalty and the effect of mediating customer satisfaction. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method—sampling using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 107 respondents. The sample criteria specified are consumers who have used the BRT Trans Jateng transportation service on the Purbalingga-Purwokerto route at least three times. This research was conducted using test path analysis and causal steps using the SPSS application as a data analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that service quality has a positive effect on customer satisfaction, perceived price fairness has a positive effect on customer satisfaction, service quality has a positive effect on customer loyalty, perceived price fairness has a positive effect on customer loyalty, customer satisfaction has a positive effect on customer loyalty, customer satisfaction mediates the relationship between service quality on customer loyalty and customer satisfaction to mediate the relationship between perceived price fairness and customer loyalty. The goal of this paper is to examine the relationship between the unidimensional‎ left-right measure of ideology and more nuanced measures of major political‎ ideologies as well as to ascertain the validity of the left-right measure of‎ ideology as a conceptual tool for analysing ideological preferences within the‎ Croatian context. This was accomplished by deploying an online questionnaire‎ on a convenient, non-representative sample of students from the University of‎ Zagreb, Croatia. The students were recruited via various social media student‎ groups. The paper starts by theoretically exploring the six major ideologies‎ from which it develops a pool of items for measuring said ideologies. The data‎ acquired via the aforementioned questionnaires was then analysed with the‎ goal of assessing the best items to measure each ideology. The paper goes on‎ to assess the relationship between the respondents' support of major ideologies‎ and their self-positioning on the left-right ideology scale. The acquired results‎ demonstrate that the respondents possess a general understanding of the ideological‎ left-to-right scale and are coherent in their preferences with the values‎ of their ideology of choice. They further demonstrate that the correlations between‎ the participants' self-positioning on the left-right continuum and level‎ of support for particular ideologies follow the expected direction. Therefore,‎ while taking the limits of the deployed sample type into account, the paper reaffirms‎ the validity of the left-right measure of ideology as a conceptual tool‎ for analysing ideological preferences within the Croatian context.‎

The company's main objective is maximizing the firm value which means it increases shareholder prosperity. This can be achieved by combining funding policy, investment policy, and dividend policy optimally. The application of good corporate governance (GCG) is used to direct and control the company to be able to run the company's operations following stakeholder's expectations. This study aims to determine the influence of funding policies, investment policies, and dividend policies on firm value by using GCG as a mediating variable.This study uses a quantitative approach. In this study, the population is all companies listed in the banking sub-sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017, with a total of 43 companies. The samples are taken by purposive sampling technique with 12 companies. The method of data analysis used in this study was descriptive analysis and path analysis using Partial Least Square (SmartPLS3).The result of the study shows that the investment policy has a positive effect on firm value. The funding policy and dividend policy do not affect firm value. While investment policy has a positive effect on GCG. Furthermore, the funding policy and dividend policy do not affect GCG. GCG successfully mediates the relationship of investment policy with the firm value. That is, the higher profitability will affect the GCG so that it will affect the firm value. However, GCG as an intervening variable does not succeed in mediating the relationship of funding policy and dividend policy with the firm value.
