In 2015, we launched the data collection on our international colour-emotion association survey. The data is collected online (https://www2.unil.ch/onlinepsylab/colour/main.php). We invite participants to complete the survey in their native language. At the end of 2017, we had translated and back-translated the survey into 37 languages. Additional translations are ongoing or are waiting for opportunities (new collaborators). For each country or language group within a country, we aim for complete data from about 100 participants, roughly equally distributed between three age ranges (18-30 years; 31-50 years; > 50 years). Also, we do not treat the data set without having at least 25 valid responses in each age group. Thus, we treat each sample when these conditions are met. On the current webpage, we only publish data of completed countries. We here use country of origin (not country of residence) as variable to group participants into discrete clusters per country. Different groupings can be obtained from the complete dataset.

Trading goods is an original human activity that precedes borders (Renfrew, 1969). With the rise of nation-states with demarcated political boundaries, trade that crosses borders became regulated by government institutions such as Customs, with tariffs, quotas, or outright prohibitions. While borders are perhaps not quite "the dead, the fixed, the undialectical, the immobile" (Foucault, 1970, p. 70), they are a formal structure that places less flexibility on trade activities. Focusing on informality thus provided an opportunity to reflect on the governance of international trade, which has been marked by increasing consolidation of its rules in the last decades. Informal cross-border trade affects the symbolic power of the State, particularly where the State takes one of its more concrete forms, as "the borders." Indeed, at borders, where commodities flows are regulated, informal trade forces governments to balance or choose between rule avoidance with economic contribution, as well as social relations. This tension between the economic, political and social dimensions of informal trade at borders is reflected in this special issue.

Carbon leakage can be a problem when seeking to reduce carbon emissions through forest policy. International market leakage is mainly caused by supply and demand imbalances in the timber market. This paper selects China, which is implementing forestry policy changes, as the research object. We begin by offering a brief analysis of China's forestry policy changes, such as the logging quota and Six Key Forestry Programs to determine whether those policies affect timber supply. Second, through the use of three shock variables, carbon leakage is simulated under different scenarios by the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) model. The results reveal that the magnitude of leakage caused by implementing China's forestry policies is between 79.7% and 88.8% with carbon leakage mainly displaced to Russia, Southeast Asia, and the EU. Two effective scenarios for reducing market leakage are presented: forest tenure reform and fast growing forest projects to improve domestic timber production, and raising tariffs on timber imports to reduce imports.

Auflage mitgewirkt haben, liegen die Kommentierungen in den Händen neuer Autorinnen und Autoren.Der Kommentar erscheint in drei Bänden und wird nur geschlossen abgegeben.Der Grundgesetz-Kommentar ist Bestandteil des Moduls Verfassungsrecht PREMIUM, das bei beck-online.de erhältlich ist.

The Dumbarton Oaks proposals of October 7, 1944, reflect a development of ideas concerning international political and judicial organization in which the Section of International and Comparative Law of the American Bar Association has played a significant part. Its recommendations calling for the establishment of an international organization, including an improved system for settling justiciable disputes, have found their way into resolutions of the Association, composed of some thirty thousand lawyers. These resolutions preceded the joint projects of the United States, the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union and China for an international organization for the maintenance of peace and security.
