Odstrjel krupne divljači predviđen je kao mjera gospodarenja u relevantnim zakonskim i podzakonskim aktima koji reguliraju pitanje lov(stv)a. Zakon o lovstvu dozvoljava odstrel krupne divljači puškama s užlijebljenom cijevi uz upotrebu streljiva sa zrnom konstruiranim za obavljanje lova, a čija je energija, kalibar i masa primjerena snazi i otpornosti divljači. Cilj rada je prikazati mehanizam djelovanja zrna na tijelo krupne divljači odnosno razvoj konstrukcija zrna te sugerirati odabir zrna za učinkovito izlučivanje divljači. U radu su prikazane različite konstrukcije zrna koje se koriste za odstrjel divljači i njihova primjena u praksi što je uspoređeno s njihovom učinkovitosti u odnosu na deklarirana svojstva proizvođača odnosno s iskustvima drugih autora. Pri tome su testiranja zrna u balističkoj želatini davala potpuno različite rezultate u odnosu na stvaran odstrjel divljači. Monolitne konstrukcije zrna koje se zasnivaju na konstrukciji ABC zrna dale su najbolje rezultate pri odstrjelu divljači, kako u pogledu željenog brzog skončanja, tako i u pogledu minimalnog uništavanja divljačine uz zanemarivu pojavu hematoma, neovisno o vrsti divljači. Kao najvažniji zaključak navodimo da moderne konstrukcije zrna velikih brzina nisu uvijek u mogućnosti potpuno obaviti očekivani cilj tj. trenutno skončanje divljači. ; In relative legal and subordinate legislation acts which regulate the issue of hunting (the hunt) the kill of the big game is predicted as a measure of managing. 'Food additiveʻ mean any substance not normally consumed as a food in itself and not normally used as a characteristic ingredient of food, whether or not it has nutritive value, the intentional addition of which to food for a technological purpose in the manufacture, processing, preparation, treatment, packaging, transport or storage of such food results, or may be reasonably expected to result, in it or its by-products becoming directly or indirectly a component of such foods.1 Food additives are substances that are not normally consumed as food itself but are intentionally added to food for a technological purpose described in Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 on food additives, such as the preservation of food.2 The adjective of food suggests that additives are used exclusively in food production unlike other additives used in the manufacture of plastic masses, cosmetic products, washing and cleaning agents, lubricants for the automotive industry and similar. U posljednjih tridesetak godina potražnja za kvalitetnim maslinovim uljem znatno je porasla na globalnoj razini. Među najveće korisnike maslinova ulja spadaju SAD, Kina i Rusija. Ova je potražnja dovela i do jače standardizacije kvalitete maslinovih ulja koja se bazira na zaštiti izvornosti. Dolazi do stvaranja brendiranih maslinovih ulja kao temeljni čimbenik proširenja maslinarske proizvodnje u pojedinoj mediteranskoj zemlji i pojedinoj njezinoj regiji. Brendiranje se temelji na specifičnom sortimentu, pedo-klimatskim karakteristikama te primijenjenoj agro i elaioetehnici. Takva ulja u cijeni dobivaju dodanu vrijednost. U ovom radu je prikazano stanje maslinarstva na području Općine Vela Luka s obzirom na sortiment, klimatske i pedološke karakteristike te dinamiku u rodnosti i kvaliteti ulja u posljednjih desetak godina. Prikupljeni su i interpretirani podatci iz službenih dokumenata članova Udruge maslinara Vela Luka o analizama pedoloških karakteristika tala u maslinicima Vele Luke, podatci o dinamici uroda po godinama, kvantiteti i kvaliteti ulja po pojedinim sortama i godinama. Isto tako, prikazani su podatci o klimi Vele Luke i njezinim specifičnostima u posljednjih desetak godina. Vanjska trgovima ima veliki značaj u gospodarstvu svake zemlje. Bez vanjske trgovine zemlja ne bi mogla biti konkurentna na svjetskom tržištu i ostvarivati devizna sredstva. Pitanje odnosa Turske i Europske unije kao nositelja europskog integracijskog procesa predmet je političkog i geostrateškog spora koji traje više od pedeset godina. Primarni razlozi za uporne zahtjeve Turske za priključenjem Europskoj uniji su, među ostalim, brojni Turci u Europi i važnost trgovine između njih. Turska je, međutim, također sve više razočarana široko rasprostranjenim protivljenjem njenom pristupanju među zemljama članicama EU. Čimbenici odnosa Republike Turske i Europske unije su : demografski aspekti, sociološke i kulturološke razlike, pristupni kriteriji, ekonomski aspekti i politički problemi. Zajednička poljoprivredna politika (ZPP) ustanovljena 1962.god. je najznačajnija javna politika na koju odlazi velik dio proračuna Europske unije. Nakon 30 godina stabilnosti, ZPP prolazi kroz prvu značajnu reformu 1992., poznatijom kao MacSharryjeva reforma. Zatim slijede Agenda 2000 (1999.), Srednjoročni pregled (eng. Mid-Term Review, MTR 2003.), Zdravstveni pregled (eng. Health-Check, 2008.), Reforma ZPP-a 2013.-2020. i Reforma nakon 2020. Početkom 1990.-ih, kroz trgovinske pregovore u sklopu GATT-a (današnjeg WTO-a) na međunarodnoj razini se postiže dogovor, Sporazum o poljoprivredi, čime su se postavile prihvatljive i neprihvatljive mjere agrarne politike. Promjenom stavova društva o poljoprivredi i njezinom financiranju, unazad 30-ak godina, mijenjali su se i ciljevi agrarne politike, te oni sada obuhvaćaju zaštitu okoliša, krajobraz, dobrobit životinja, kvalitetu i sigurnost hrane. ; The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) established in 1962 is the most important public policy to which a large part of the European Union budget goes. After 30 years of stability, the CAP is undergoing its first significant reform in 1992, better known as the MacSharry reform. This is followed by Agenda 2000 (1999), Mid-Term Review (MTR 2003), Health-Check (2008), CAP reform 2013-2020. and CAP post 2020 reform. In the early 1990s, through trade negotiations under the GATT (today's WTO), an agreement was reached at the international level, the Agreement on Agriculture, which set out acceptable and unacceptable agricultural policy measures. With the change in society's attitudes towards agriculture and its financing, over the past 30 years, the goals of agricultural policy have changed, and they now include environmental protection, landscape, animal welfare, quality and food safety.

Naglim opadanjem broja stanovnika i njegovim starenjem dovedene su na jadranskim otocima u pitanje brojne aktivnosti koje su nastale kao rezultat ljudskog rada i prisutnosti na samoj obali. Posljedice takvog stanja odražavaju se na jezičnom planu i ugrožavaju opstanak nazivlja iz pojedinih leksičkih polja. Autor u ovom radu pokušava na temelju vlastitih istraživanja na terenu i koristeći podatke iz literature sistematizirati toponomastičku građu sa samog litorala — kontakta mora i obale. Ne polazeći u svom postupku od geografskih objekata kao nosilaca motivacije u postanku imena, već od dispozicije same obale za vršenje neke djelatnosti, autor grupira dobivenu građu u nekoliko semantičkih skupina. Izabrane su one aktivnosti koje su ostavile najdublji trag u životu otočkog stanovništva: ribarstvo, stočarstvo, navigacija i transport, te graditeljstvo. Poljoprivreda je ostavljena po strani, jer su toponimi iz ove klase vezani isključivo za unutrašnjost otoka. Autor se dalje osvrće na teškoće koje proistječu iz činjenice da se semantička polja često pretapaju, bilo zbog formalnih razloga (nerazumijevanja značenja), bilo zbog sadržajnih (nepoznavanja funkcije referenta), što ponekad izaziva i pogrešne interpretacije imena. Da bi se takve pogreške svele na minimum, a i zbog drugih razloga, bilo bi potrebno, po njegovu mišljenju, prikupiti maksimalni broj podataka na terenu. Na taj način udovoljilo bi se nasušnoj potrebi naše kulture i osiguralo mjesto toponomastičkim istraživanjima koje im pripada u okviru lingvistike.

Prilagodba nacionalnog okvira za dijalog dionika poljoprivrednog sektora o pitanjima Zajedničke poljoprivredne politike prema standardu dijaloga koji se provodi na razini Europske unije važna je zbog kreiranja učinkovitih politika, a posebice sprječavanja netransparentnih političkih odluka. U istraživanju se polazi od pretpostavke kako nacionalni okvir za dijalog dionika o pitanjima ZPP-a nije strukturno prilagođen formalnom standardu EU-a te dionici poljoprivrednog sektora RH nisu koordinirani za dijalog o pitanjima ZPP-a prema protokolu komunikacije i standardu EU-a. Cilj ove disertacije bio je ustanoviti razlike između nacionalnog okvira za dijalog dionika o pitanjima ZPP-a i okvira EU-a. Nadalje, cilj je bio identificirati ključne nacionalne dionike i njihovu ulogu u dijalogu te odrediti mogućnosti prilagodbe nacionalnog dijaloga o pitanjima ZPP-a prema standardu EU-a. Istraživanje je provedeno u pet faza: (1) analiza okvira dijaloga, (2) dubinska analiza dionika poljoprivrednog sektora, (3) analiza stajališta 17 stručnjaka, (4) ispitivanje 31 poljoprivrednika putem fokus grupa (5) testiranje rezultata prethodnih faza istraživanja anketnim ispitivanjem 132 ispitanika. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su kako nacionalni okvir za dijalog dionika o pitanjima ZPP-a nije strukturno prilagođen formalnom standardu EU-a te postoje razlike u dijelu analitičkih, organizacijskih i edukacijskih kapaciteta. Prema ispitanicima, nedostaje razmjena informacija i znanja koja je temelj za koordinaciju javnih politika. Predloženim istraživanjem metodološki su identificirani ključni dionici dijaloga te su znanstveno potvrđeni potreba i mogućnosti prilagodbe nacionalnog okvira dijaloga prema standardiziranom postupku EU-a. Predložena unaprjeđenja moguće je proceduralno primijeniti i na izradu poljoprivrednih politika za druge države koje su u postupcima pregovora za članstvo u EU-u. Istraživanje može poslužiti kao koncept za izradu nacionalnog okvira za transparentan i redovit dijalog u poljoprivrednom sektoru. ; The adjustment of the national stakeholder dialogue on questions of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) according to the EU-level dialogue standard is important for the creation of effective policies, in particular the prevention of non-transparent policy decisions. The research is based on the assumption that the national framework for stakeholder dialogue on CAP is not structurally adjusted to the formal EU standard and that national stakeholders are not sufficiently coordinated for dialogue on CAP questions. The aim of this dissertation was to find the differences between the national framework for stakeholder dialogue on CAP and the EU framework. Furthermore, the aim was to identify key national stakeholders and their role in the dialogue and to identify options for adapting the national dialogue on CAP to the EU standard. The research was conducted in five phases: (1) analysis of the dialogue framework, (2) in-depth analysis of the agricultural stakeholders, (3) analysis of the dialogue from 17 expert standpoints, (4) focus groups with 31 farmers on the dialogue framework and stakeholders, (5) questionnaire for 132 relevant stakeholders in order to test previous phases of the research. The proposed research methodologically identified key stakeholders in the dialogue and scientifically confirmed the need and possibilities to adapt the national dialogue framework to the EU standardized procedure. By analysing the documents, performing individual interviews with experts, examining the four focus groups and conducting a survey, H1 was confirmed, according to which the national framework for stakeholder dialogue on CAP issues is not structurally adjusted to the formal EU standard. The results showed that according to C1, there are differences between the national framework for stakeholder dialogue on CAP issues and the EU framework, especially in terms of analytical, organizational and educational capacities. It was confirmed that although there are a number of formal meetings, e-Consultations do not follow the tempo of the negotiations at EU level as well as standards related to the publicity of data from meetings, the openness of the information system and the time frame for presenting opinions. The general consultations on agricultural policies with public comments are partially covered through the e-Consultation portal. However, abstracts are necessary in order to facilitate the understanding of the documents under discussion, as well as longer time frames. The e-Consultation portal is not a tool that stakeholders can follow yet and additional consultations are needed. Furthermore, the paper confirms H2, in which the stakeholders of the agricultural sector of the Republic of Croatia are not coordinated for dialogue on CAP issues according to the information, communication and dialogue structure protocol. The results of the second phase survey through C2 and the identification of key national stakeholders and their role in the dialogue on CAP issues according to EU standards, the interviewing of experts and farmers through focus groups and the final survey showed that a large number of different associations, sometimes politically coloured, offer weak arguments during debates and institutions perceive them lightly. Also, the selection of stakeholders is not completely transparent. There is no public invitation to participate in the work of the committees and the selection takes place according to decisions of the officials or heads of the Ministry. There is a need for a transparency register, which could determine who is entitled to present views and be invited to meetings according to certain criteria. Associations initiate meetings themselves and they depend on the good will of the leaders. There is a high level of politicization, mistrust and division in large and small, which contributes to weaker cooperation among stakeholders compared to EU policies. According to the respondents, there is a need for an institution or a coordinating body that will profile the interests of farmers towards decision makers. The Croatian Chamber of Agriculture (HPK) is most often mentioned as a key institution that should connect the views of farmers and CAP decision makers. The exchange of information and knowledge, which are the basis for policy coordination, were assessed negatively by experts (third phase), farmers (fourth phase) and stakeholders participating in the negotiations (fifth phase). The component of an analytical approach to planning and joint organized action at the EU level through the linking of the CAP positions of national representatives in the Council, EU representatives and member associations at the EU level is missing. According to C3, the paper identifies the possibilities of adjusting the national dialogue on CAP issues according to the EU standard. The results showed the need for: •establishing a regular dialogue on CAP at the national level modelled on the CDG of the EC, •establishing a transparency register and clear criteria for selecting stakeholders, •producing summaries that will facilitate the understanding of the documents that are discussed and allow for longer time frames for consultations, •increasing the number of representatives of the real agricultural sector in the negotiation process, especially those for whom agriculture is of vital importance, •offering education and accreditation of the stakeholders who participate in CAP negotiations, •strengthening the overall AKIS (synergy of advisory service, science and farmers) system, bringing the CAP closer to stakeholders in the field with the help of an advisory service and local action groups, •public disclosure of data from meetings at the Ministry of Agriculture and feedback on the implementation of the agreed changes, •strengthening the human and financial capacities of associations participating in negotiations at the EU level, •facilitating the translation of documents that are in the process of negotiation and meetings that include civil society stakeholders. The proposed improvements can be procedurally applied to the development of agricultural policies and to other countries that are in negotiations for EU membership. The research can serve as a concept for developing a national framework for transparent and regular dialogue in the agricultural sector.

Abstract Background The European Union's 7th Framework Programme (EU's FP7) project HEALS – Health and Environment-wide Associations based on Large Population Surveys – aims a refinement of the methodology to elucidate the human exposome. Human biomonitoring (HBM) provides a valuable tool for understanding the magnitude of human exposure from all pathways and sources. However, availability of specific biomarkers of exposure (BoE) is limited. Objectives The objective was to summarize the availability of BoEs for a broad range of environmental stressors and exposure determinants and corresponding reference and exposure limit values and biomonitoring equivalents useful for unraveling the exposome using the framework of environment-wide association studies (EWAS). Methods In a face-to-face group discussion, scope, content, and structure of the HEALS deliverable "Guidelines for appropriate BoE selection for EWAS studies" were determined. An expert-driven, distributed, narrative review process involving around 30 individuals of the HEALS consortium made it possible to include extensive information targeted towards the specific characteristics of various environmental stressors and exposure determinants. From the resulting 265 page report, targeted information about BoE, corresponding reference values (e.g., 95th percentile or measures of central tendency), exposure limit values (e.g., the German HBM I and II values) and biomonitoring equivalents (BEs) were summarized and updated. Results 64 individual biological, chemical, physical, psychological and social environmental stressors or exposure determinants were included to fulfil the requirements of EWAS. The list of available BoEs is extensive with a number of 135 ; however, 12 of the stressors and exposure determinants considered do not leave any measurable specific substance in accessible body specimens. Obiettivi della ricerca sono individuare le caratteristiche linguistiche delle formazioni scientifiche nella lingua italiana, confrontarle poi con le formazioni equivalenti nella lingua croata, istituire la ricerca comparativa in questo campo, cercare e descrivere le caratteristiche linguistiche che differenziano le formazioni scientifiche italiane da quelle croate al fine di mettere in rilievo le caratteristiche linguistiche della formazione allogena nelle due lingue. L' approccio è contrastivo. ; Italijanščina se zdi v besedni tvorbi bolj odprta rabi tujih jezikovnih prvin kot hrvaščina. V nasprotju z italijanščino v hrvaščini prevladujejo domače jezikovne prvine. V prispevku so navedene sestavljenke, ki jih najdemo na pravrazličnih področjih znanosti in tehnologije. Spoznavamo términe iz medicine, kemije, fizike, jezikoslovja, pa tudi informatike, eko-nomske propagande, trgovine ter seveda tudi prava in političnega jezika. V prispevku se ugotavlja, da je značilnost sodobnega hrvaškega jezika ravno ta, da se - kolikor je le mogoče - izogiba tujkam in se v obeh delih sestavljene besede zateče k domačim, torej ustreznim hrvaškim leksikalnim prvinam. Začetak Europske Unije smatra se 9. svibnja 1950. godine kada je Robert Schuman predložio osnivanje Europske zajednice za ugljen i čelik. Od tada do danas, EU broji ukupno 6 proširenja. Institucije i tijela Europske unije zajedno surađuju i donose odluke u svrhu formiranja i reguliranja odnosa unutar Unije. Ujedno sudjeluju u kreiranju proračuna koji služi za financiranje raznih politika i projekata u više aspekata (npr. obrazovanje, znanost, poljoprivreda i slično). Države članice europodručja također dijele i zajedničku valutu – euro. Republika Hrvatska najmlađa je članica Europske Unije, a pristupila je 2013. godine nakon nekoliko godina pregovora te niza uvjeta koje je uspješno ispunila na svom putu prema Uniji. Danas je ravnopravni član koji je u prvoj polovici 2020. godine predsjedao Vijećem Europske Unije, a preostaje joj preuzeti službenu valutu Europske Unije i pristupiti schengenskom prostoru. Sanitary engineering is burdened by several challenges that attract bioethical attention: (1) there are many ambiguities regarding the definition of the profession ; (2) its methodology seems to be a combination of several approaches from different sciences ; and (3) it often appears to be an amalgam of different disciplines. We argue that the bioethical perspective helps to show that these features can be taken as a stimulating challenge. Moreover, bioethics may illuminate how these features can become an asset to sanitary engineering in light of the growing need for holistic approaches. First, we present a bioethical analysis of the aforementioned features as a useful way to clarify and strengthen the identity of the profession. Second, we argue that professional ethics have received the least attention, but are crucial to giving the profession stronger independence and professional identity and to creating a unique worldview at the crossroads of environmental and public health ethics. Finally, we propose a general framework of sound professional ethics of sanitary engineering as a necessary step towards rethinking the core values of the profession, clearly articulating a genuine professional ethic, and reforming educational politics related to professional education.

Background The aim of the study was a comparative analysis of legislative measures against discrimination in healthcare on the grounds of a) race and ethnicity, b) religion and belief, and c) gender identity and sexual orientation in Croatia, Germany, Poland and Slovenia. Methods We conducted a search for documents in national legal databases and reviewed legal commentaries, scientific literature and official reports of equality bodies. We integrated a comparative method with text analysis and the critical interpretive approach. The documents were examined in their original languages: Croatian, German, Polish, and Slovenian. Results All examined states prohibit discrimination and guarantee the right to healthcare on the constitutional level. However, there are significant differences among them on the statutory level, regarding both anti- discriminatory legal measures and other legislation affecting access to healthcare for groups of diverse race or ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation or gender identity. Croatia and Slovenia show the most comprehensive legislation concerning non-discrimination in healthcare in comparison to Germany and even more Poland. Except for Slovenia, explicit provisions protecting equal access for members of the abovementioned groups are insufficiently represented in healthcare legislation. Conclusions The study identified legislative barriers to access to healthcare for persons of diverse race or ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation or gender identity in Croatia, Germany, Poland and Slovenia. The discrepancies in the level of implementation of anti-discriminatory measures among these states show that there is a need for comprehensive EU-wide regulations, which would implement the principle of equal treatment in the specific context of healthcare. General anti-discrimination regulations should be strengthened by inclusion of anti-discrimination provisions directly into national legislation relating specifically to the area of healthcare.
