The article highlights existing approaches to the theoretical and methodological comprehension of the problems of researching the cultural heritage of European civilization. The purpose of the article is to analyze the main epistemological trends in the study of European civilization cultural heritage. The methodological basis of the article is a civilization analysis. The scientific novelty of the article is to systematize the conceptual achievements of various scientists who adhere to a civilization approach to the study of European cultural heritage. At the beginning of the nineteenth century, competition between the German-speaking and Slavic cultural areals intensified. M. Danilevsky in classical work «Russia and Europe» conceptualized the sociocultural differences between two European worlds. The author emphasized their equivalence in terms of historical development. The scientific approach of O. Shpengler is very original. He proved a pessimistic thesis on the decline of European culture, which is degenerate in civilization in the XX century, a civilization paradigm develops successfully. A. Toynbi, F. Brodel, I. Vallerstain expanded the theoretical and methodological principles of civilization research. These authors showed dialectics of mutual influences of global and local processes. Significant contribution to the methodology of comparative analysis of sociocultural values of civilization was made by the classic of sociological thought Max Weber. He developed a methodology and collected an interesting actual material for comparing the labor ethics of various world religions, which is still an urgent problem of historical social globalistics. The conclusions of the article state that in the early ХХІ century, the cultural legacy of European civilization became global. Not least this happened due to the long global domination of the British Empire. The Great Britain Exit from the European Union is not so much evidence of «Twilight Europe», as evidence of the Duality of the European Anglo-Saxon and ...
Fragmentary researches of socio-economic institutions by classical political economy are caused by the absence of social components in its methodological «core». The article concentrates on the ideas of institutionalism in the context of classical political economy formation. The author underlines the necessity to adapt the analysis of socio-economic institutions in the heritage of classical political economy inUkraineof the 19-th century to the creation of an integral conception of genesis and evolution of institutionalism in Ukrainian economic thought. Following the traditions of European economic science, Ukrainian scientists tried to take into account social contradictions, the needs in democratic transformations of social relations in their works. In spite of absence of the category of «standard (rule)» among Adam Smith's followers, and Ukrainian economists paid attention to a social problematic in the context of traditional researches of classical political economy, there is the necessity to examine socio-economic institutions in their heritage and the possibility of its application to the formation of the paradigm of modern institutionalism.Michail Baludyanskiy considered that a state could limit the freedom of an economic activity only on the base of generally accepted standards, but in this case contributing to safety and freedom of an economic activity. National system of economy, its legislative and management systems must conceptually obey economic policy,Anthropocentrism defined the philosophical conception of Tihon Stepanov's political economy. He followed methodological holism as he concluded the characteristics of an individual on the base of characteristics of institutions (society).Ivan Vernadskiy's researches concerning behavior of an individual and his trials to characterize value from a consumer's point of view don't fully correspond to traditional classical political economy. To improve Adam Smith's study the scientist created the theory of needs on the base of a consumer's behavior analysis. Ivan Vernadskiy's methodological holism (wholeness) and evolutionism unite him with the methodology of classical institutionalism. Possession as one of the attributes of an ownership the scientist analyzes as specific informal limitation. The author draws the conclusion that in the first half of the 19-th century Ukrainian economists uttered the ideas similar to the ideas of institutionalism. The peculiarity of Ukrainian economic thought is its anthropocentrism. The most important institution for Ukrainian economists is freedom in its widest understanding, but not only in understanding of economic activities. They tried to explain the subject of political economy widely involving mental and ethical, spiritual, legal and other factors to the scientific analysis; they attempted to research the motivation of economic behavior of a person and its limitations.tylmnr n lang=UK style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Peterburg;color:black'>Автор приходить до висновку, що у першій половині ХІХ ст. His teachers were Eddy Jane, Ralf Falkner, Carmelita Maracci, Sam Mints and Micho Ito, Adolf Bolm, Edward Katon, Sally Wellen, Luise de Prone. Choreographers Gin Kelly, Robert Alton were his mentors during his 8- years and 40 movies period.Another very dynamic but different dance makers – Katherine Dunham and Perl Prymus impressed American scenes by expression. These two women were ready to follow the traditions, underline the achievements, complication and force of jazz dance. Prymus made the diapason of emotions of afro-American dancers, showing American audience force, passion, emotions of African culture. Methods of Dunham's dance was unique, she created a very special system of movements and technique to study the style. It was an eclectic confluence of movements, which were investigated in Jamaica and Haiti with ballet and dance modern, integrated in a system of isolation of parts of a body and syncope, which gives to a body a wide specter of movements. Dunham bursted into American culture in the period of social, cultural, political awakening of growing and development. She established a school in 1945 for studding anthropology, sociology, philosophy, and languages in the same portions as step, ballet, folk, percussive, kinetic physical training for the actors.Alvin Ailey American Dance theatre happened as repertory of seven dancers, who dedicated their creativity to a modern dance classic and modern Alvin Ailey's interpretations. Complimentary honorable mentions about their first concerts companies in 1958-1960 th showed the beginning of a new era in dancing, dedicated to Afro-American theme.Alvin Ailey's heritage gives a possibility for free choice between ballet, jazz dance and social dance for a maximum expression of a human internal world by means of movements. Preservation of historic heritage is a prevalent question in urban social movements in Ukraine. This article focuses on heritage preservation activists' experiences, including both movements to preserve specific historic sites and monuments, and movements against destruction of the historic environment more generally. We begin by conceptualizing key concepts of heritage preservation movement and offering a background of heritage preservation in a post-soviet setting. This overview is followed by a summary of research findings based on eleven semi-structured interviews with heritage protection activists in major Ukrainian cities. Their activity can be classified firstly based on the strategy of impact (top-down or bottomup); secondly, on the type of historic monuments that they want to preserve (classical architecture, modern (Soviet) architecture and small architectural forms); thirdly, on the territorial scale of their activity (local, municipal or regional); and finally, on their activities (cultural and artistic, political, media and awarenessraising, community-building, etc.).Challenges, identified by activists in their work, were classified as external (related to structural and contextual difficulties), and internal (individual challenges and group dynamics, related to lack of time, resources and institutional knowledge). More generally, the heritage preservation movement in Ukraine is identified by activists as fragmented, reactive, and marked by high institutionalization of grassroots activities and their cooptation. Activists are reflexive of their role in historic preservation and present themselves as the voice of the general public. They identify their impact as creating public resonance, a wide network of passive allies, institutional (as well as internal management) experience for activist initiatives. At the same time, however, they have little faith in the possibility of achieving broader strategic goals. Thus, despite their impact and efficiency in defending specific historic sites, activists are unable to preserve historic heritage in Ukrainian cities on their own. Potential future research includes conducting interviews not only with activists of large cities, but also of smaller towns, as well as using a multi-method approach and supplementing interviews with content-analysis of activists' public statements, as well as taking into consideration the voices of other interested agents in the heritage preservation movement.

Using the encyclopedic approach, the philosopher's views on various aspects of the structure of social life are analyzed. In particular, on the basis of one of the classical works of the scientist – the Athenian polity – his ideas regarding the ethical, economic and, above all, political spheres of the life of society are generalized. Some theoretical and methodological aspects of the organization and conduct of scientific research are highlighted. The differences between the socio-political views of Aristotle and Plato are briefly presented, as well as their diametrically opposed views on the social nature of private property, individual human rights, ets.Aristotle's ideas about desirable (monarchy, aristocracy, polity) and undesirable forms of government (tyranny, oligarchy, democracy), as well as system-forming tasks of government are highlighted. It is primarily about the obligation of the state and society to create fair, comfortable living conditions for the average person in order to form his moral principles. Aristotle's thoughts on the diffusion of power, issues of citizenship, the optimal model of social structure, the values of the middle class, the differentiation of physical and mental labor, the specifics of leisure activities, and differentiation of social functions are also detailed. The views of resonant political figures of that time – Aeschines, Pericles, Solon – regarding the relevant characteristics and advantages of the state structure of Ancient Athens, as well as the popular formats of social interaction between the rich and poor, the relevance of the resource of trust, the specifics of political humor and other important aspects of social interaction are characterized. In addition, other resonant issues of life support of Ancient Athens were raised: political absenteeism, ostracism, and demanded attributive features of both ordinary citizens and statesmen. The emphasis is on the thoughts of these historical figures regarding the construction of a democratic model of social life, as well as its system-forming advantages and distinctive disadvantages. In general, the article details the innovative principles of a democratic model for the organization of socio-political life in Ancient Athens, taking into account the principles of lottocracy.
The purpose of modern education is the formation of a student's ability and desire to study throughout his whole life, to work in a team, the ability to self-change and to self-develop on the basis of the reflexive self discipline. The competent approach that underlies the Concept of the New Ukrainian School, the State Standard of Primary School, allows to effectively address these tasks using modern pedagogical technologies. The school should become a non-preparatory stage for life, but the life itself; to promote the formation of personality, as the creator and designer of the person's own life.To the important conditions that promote the full development of children, V. Sukhomlinsky submits the correspondence of teaching methods, the structure of the lesson, all organizational and psychological and pedagogical elements of the educational purpose of the lesson, its educational and developmental tasks and the content. The peculiarity of the use of interactive methods is that the educational process takes place under the condition of the constant active interaction of students and the directional, corrective role of the teacher. It is co-education, mutual learning (collective, group, studying in cooperation), where the student and teacher are equal partners of this process.During the interactive learning, students learn to be democratic, to communicate with others, to think creatively, to make informed decisions, to cultivate empathy and tolerance towards others. The use of active forms of interaction greatly contributes to the development of a competent approach to learning. One of the key values of a particular activity is the development of creative and critical thinking, the acquisition of experience and the research tools, the independent seeking for information, that is, putting the emphasis not so much on knowledge, but on acquiring students a positive experience through an independent work.By directing the educational process to the formation of vital and substantive competences in students, in accordance with the state standards of elementary education, the teacher acquires the skills of the practical use during the training. These competencies give the child the opportunity to navigate the society and solve the problems that he or she faces. The article is devoted to the relevance of the competence approach in contemporary Ukrainian education in comparison with the classical pedagogy V. Sukhomlynsky.
; In the article, using a panoramic view of the problem situation, certain aspects of M.
; Ancient Greek and Roman cultural heritage became the basis of the whole European civilization long ago. That is why it is hard to overestimate the contribution of classical languages into European languages areal. The borrowings from Greek and Latin languages constitute a considerable layer of not only Roman, but also Germanic and Slavic languages. Interlanguage contacts have formed an integral part of modern languages, and the constant exchange and interpenetration of cultures have become the need of society. In this way, the enrichment of languages is taking place. For many centuries Latin, and through its mediation the Greek language, had a dominant influence on the languages that either evolved on the basis of Latin, or had been forming during the scientific and cultural golden age of Latin. We can therefore say that social and historical processes that took place during the transformation of government system of European countries, are closely linked with the globalization of economy. Thus, the penetration of classical languages into new West European languages was different due to direct contacts of nations in different historical periods of European countries development. The domination and the spread of Greek and Latin for a long time, from antiquity to the beginning of 21st century, is the evidence of a significant impact of classical languages not only on the history and culture of many nations, but also the development of languages of the European areal; it is due to the rapid development of various science branches and, therefore, terminologies, which serve these sciences. In particular, in legal studies one of the sources of classical languages penetration into new Western European languages was the jurisdiction and codification of law standards.
We consider the significance and place of the images in the art, including choreography. The influence of basic cultural trends and the correlation to these with regard to images in the art works of different times are factors that should be evaluated. We consider the significance and place of the images in the art, including choreography. The influence of basic cultural trends and the correlation to these with regard to images in the art works of different times are factors that should be evaluated. We consider the artistic image is the main element by which the artist reflects personal attitude to the existing state of general cultural process. Every kind of art has its own specific laws of reflection of life, their special forms, expressive methods and its material. The task of any artist-poet, writer, musician, director or choreographer is to reproduce the atmosphere of that time by means of his art, which he describes in his work through the display of a specific event, that is, to create an artistic image.Choreographic image is a complex fact. Its visible components (movement, facial expressions, and postures) serve not only the material for creating the internal structure, in which emotion, sensory perception of a life situation, actions play the main role. He carries the imprint of the external socio-cultural context inside. Choreography as part of the culture in general, reveals the type and peculiarities characteristics of culture in a definite cultural- historical era with artistic means of the plastic language and ballet performance. Thus, examining the transformation and evolution of the images in the ballet we can analyze and change the main trends of development of world civilization and main lines of general cultural process or some of its structural elements. For example, studying the normality of changes in women's images in the choreography, we can conclude about the development of the feminist movement and its influence on art.Artistic image, as the main purchase in creation works of artistic composition, brings the imprint of culture and changes according to the major trends in world civilization. Of course, like any art, dance is a picture of the existing cultural system, and any changes or trends affect the ballet performances, their structural and ideological content and artistic images arise as the driving power thanks to which these changes can be observed.Artistic image is such a main element in the choreographic art that some choreographers consider usual the possibility to avoid creation of any plot line. For example, representatives of the world modern choreography- Merce Kennynhem andAlvinNykolays. These choreographers' main assertion is that the only component of the dance is dance itself. Representatives of the similar trends which are common in European countries and theUSAgive up the idea that the "plot" and any "content" are necessary for the ballet. They affirm independence of the dance as exclusive movement complex. Seek of managing the inspired, poetical nature of the dance finds expression in appeal to the special, emotionally different from other music, and leads, according to Merce Kennynhem, to "image creation, which creates world beyond imagination".Point of life, sense reaction on the flows running through people, body reflection and quick reaction make sense of the modern art. The artist finds plots and materials for his works everywhere: in politics, in the stereotypes of consciousness, ideology, religion, manufacture, publicity, theatre and rites of workaday life. It's fair to say that there is no ranch where you cannot find creation: "As a result of sense, bodily innervated elements more and more coming into a structure of aesthetic perception, they organize and determine themselves less through images and present operative range of practice and events, which is run through by libidinal energy from outside. The thing we call "art" moves away from the figurative creation space to the operation space"- german investigator's thought totally refers to actionism. In the range of set up forms action art distinguishes from one hand quickness and reaction spontaneity, and from the othercompleteness and extensionality, or as it is normal to characterize art of the epoch of formation of homo sapiens. Its dependence from interactive surroundings makes to examine expression techniques to the side of the speeding up of information. In different times images had different contents and different aims. Thus, esthetic principles of classical dance meet objective concepts and notions of the beautiful. Classical dance system harmony consists in the symmetry, proportionality, softness, completeness and integrity of all elements. Harmony and beauty of the outer physical air is always identical in the system of the inner harmony, beauty and spirit. Esthetic standards of classical dance are converted into people lives spiritual norms. The beauty in each movement is a source of huge power of emotional influence of the classical dance. In the modern ballet performances choreographers try to reflect the realities of life, solve the most painful problems, the modern ballet performances' aims are to captivate spectators, touch their sensual sides. The images are sometimes more bright, purposely dramatic. For the artist performance is a play on the spectators feelings, the more it touches his emotions, the more successful performance is. Nowadays beauty and esthetic admiration of the work come aside. Usually classical heritage serves as a plot for modern ballets, nevertheless the dramatic line is so different that sometimes the ballets have nothing in common. Modern dance choreographers differently from the authentic plots, changed images adding them bright colors and modern themes.Choreographers seek for the shocking, try to shock spectators, so art images become shocking differently from the decorations and basic plot lines. Art image appears in front of us as a basic motive power, which creates art and the other components only frame it. Meaning of the plot, contests and form is also huge, but without images it is helpless and impossible. During some time exactly art images changed greatly, we can observe a tendency of images and culture development reflection, which will become a subject for the further investigation. It is need to make comparison of the architectural heritage of European countries and the USSR that in the first half of the twentieth century belonged to states with totalitarian political regimes, to establish the main tendencies in their architecture − the common features and differences − and to find out the reasons for their appearance. This time, beginning in the 1920s, marked the emergence of totalitarian regimes in European life as a reaction on the political turmoil that took place in a number of countries after the First World War. The war led to a major political, economic and cultural crisis, in the background of which there was a change of political regimes. A wave of formation of reactionary parties was sweeping through Europe, and Spain, Italy, Portugal and Germany formed a system of government which was based on a one-party system that led by the leader. For these countries it was characterized by rigorous control from the top of power absolutely in all aspects of life − the economy on the basis of private property and market relations, a policy of categorical non-perception of other political forces and movements, culture, which reflected in various forms the idea of creating a social consciousness on the basis of feeling the exclusivity of the nation, and therefore the priority right to resolve the fate of other peoples. What distinguished the Soviet political system from European political regimes? First, the idea of democracy in the form of local councils of people's deputies (the authorities from below, from the people - upwards) was absorbed by the party system, formed on the principle "on the contrary", as a command system (from the helmsman to the people). Therefore, in the process of perfection, it turned into a conglomerate in which the legislative branch of power became a puppet and completely dependent on the main party component of the system of government [1, 2]. Second, there was no private property in the USSR. Land and other natural resources, all means of production belonged to the state, were at the disposal and under the strict control of the authorities. Thirdly, public consciousness was formed in the spirit of patriotism, love for national culture, faith in the bright future, which would determine the party leadership (which meant the transfer of responsibility for its own fate to the representatives of the authorities) and friendly relations with other peoples. The public consciousness forming the direction of the development of culture was a consequence of the embodiment of the state-ideological essence of social life to thinking of the society, which was programmed by the leadership of the state. The means of architecture that are under the influence of state ideology, the specifics of the economic system, the formed psychology of society and social consciousness, forms an artificial environment of human being, which, on the one hand, reflects socio-political processes, on the other, creates an environment that educates a person in a certain the corresponding direction. Under totalitarian systems, both sides are pushing for a person stronger in the direction desired by the ruling power, limiting its freedom is felt stronger than in a democratic political system. Consequently, the first half of the twentieth century was marked both in Europe and in the Soviet Union by the creation of totalitarian regimes, which were clearly reflected in the formation of the architectural environment. So whether the common features in the political-economic system, political events and the development of the culture of European states and the USSR influenced onto architecture, its form and style? Have any cardinal differences been observed? When were they, what caused their appearance? Where did the causal link between the political-economic system and architecture look? An overview of the architectural and urban heritage has shown that for all European countries, where reactionary regimes were established, the following was typical: giantomania in the size of objects that were prestigious for the authorities and the state; style building based on national, ancient traditions; purism, asceticism, lapidary and, at the same time, simplicity and monumental forms; axial symmetry of city-building ensembles; moderate, but accurate, in the main places of use of state symbols; application of additional decorative symbols emphasizing the connection with the ancient past: figures of a physically strong man, a bull, horses, more often in the form of sculptures, less often − bas-relief; monotonous interpretation of the wall − without cavities or with identical cutouts, which served as a monumental background for a separate sculpture, emphasizing its symbolic meaning. The rationalism of architectural forms was manifested in the purity and concordance of the plan, the architectonics of the building, which brightly and precisely helped to focus the viewer's attention and emphasized the value of a single symbol. The simplicity of the formation of European functionalism, which was combined with the symmetry of the architectural-spatial composition and the neoclassical manifestations of the warrant, the great-power symbols and monumental forms, as well as expensive materials, created a special direction of the open-mindedness of the state-ideological content of architecture. By such means, the architecture articulated outside clearly demonstrative and ideological reference to an absolutely indisputable order in the state, based on conquering the authorities, carrying the order to other peoples and deciding their fate at the discretion of this power. Before the war, the Soviet Union embarked on a path of rebirth and creative rethinking of the classical heritage. Withdrew from the tendencies of the spread of constructivist industrial forms in the urban environment, Soviet architecture moved through the formation of the Russian empire. Thanks to the desire to glorify the existing system of government at that time, the USSR chose the classic principles in architecture: the classical perimeter building of quarters and the symmetrical structure of the facades were revived; the mandatory formation of the main city center on the basis of the axis of symmetry and the main buildings with towers and spikes in completion, with many state symbols, which looked like an explicit selection of decorative forms and details. In the postwar period, state symbols that had to remind of the role of the Soviet state in the life of the people and to demonstrate the differences between Soviet architecture and the architecture of the Russian Empire, began to appear anywhere. The unlimited number of that symbolism simply shouted about the ideological purpose, but at the same time it reduced its value. In addition to such obsessive use of symbolism, the psychological effect was enhanced by other decorative elements that performed an additional auxiliary function. It is a variety of symbols of fertility, labor, a bright future that awaits the people in the form of justice, equality, peaceful life, and well-being. The combination of a heavy order with a richly decorated facade created in the architecture of a fairy tale about a strong, reliable, mighty state, which promised protection and happiness to its people. An unlikely architectural form and style that did not correspond to real situations (repressions in the country and arms race among the states) formed a decorative screen that covered the real state-ideological content of the formed urban environment. Consequently, the architectural and urban heritage frankly reflected the true manifestations of the state-ideological goal of countries with totalitarian political regimes. The architectural legacy of European states significantly differed from that of the USSR by the fact that European states frankly proclaimed the ambition of their own political programs, and the Soviet state with the help of architectural means created an idyll of peacefulness and a bright future.
The article suggests an understanding of the phenomenon of Ukrainianity on the methodological basis of the monadological understanding of history, proposed by I.V. Boychenko, as a version of the post-classical philosophy of history. An attempt to comprehend the phenomenon of Ukrainianity comes in two dimensions: chronological and ethnological and topical-ethnological.An extremely important (perhaps the most important) part of the intellectual heritage of I.V. Boychenko is the monadological approach to the understanding of history he has developed. But being created as a kind of post-classical philosophy of history, the monadological approach has great prospects in the related fields of cognition. In addition, even in a narrow philosophicalhistorical sense, it has the potential to solve important problems of modern humanities. Problems of not only scientific but also ideological and even socio-political significance. One of these problems is the comprehension of the phenomenon of Ukrainianity, namely it's comprehension in the historical and ethnological contexts. When did the Ukrainians appear? In what naturally defined relationships are they with other nations? What is the significance of sub-ethnic and regional relations within Ukrainian society itself? All these issues remain highly relevant, but unfortunately, attempts to resolve them are more of a political rather than scientific dimension.Understanding subethnics and historical and ethnographic regions as macro-historical entities of the monad type allows looking at the problem at another angle. Mutual reflection and mutual influence of essentially alike but not completely identical "micro-Ukraines" (which may be determined as the totality of sub-ethnic and historical-geographical communities making up the Ukrainity) create a diverse unity that is deeply real, but at the same time having it's roots go far beyond the ordinary social categories. Thus the dichotomy of all-Ukrainian and local is being overcome.
Urgency of the research. The article presents the metaphysical understanding of the national idea, which reflects events, concepts, dreams are very important in order to remain on the position of "objective observer" in the work of spiritual coryphaeus. After all, the course of the Ukrainian political nation is a vibrant, creative process, due to public understanding of the metaphysics of history. Target setting: The sophical context of the reform of the educational space can only be understood adequately if you yourself are personally involved in this. The main purpose of the article is to find out: to what extent the metaphysical reflection of a national idea may slow down attempts to vulgarly distort the search for truth or lead to its renaissance in Ukraine. Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The methodology suggests that a positive answer to be complete and complete is only possible if detailed ontological-epistemological, transcendental and all other questions related both to the sophistry and the explication of the corresponding phenomenon of reforming the educational space are possible. In the basis of the research the following tasks are presented: to note, what significance for the civilized nationalization is the creativity of some outstanding personalities - the leaders of the spiritual culture, the fate, life, whose legacy acts, so to speak, a guiding way towards the historical course of ethno-nationalogenesis and enlightenment, as a universal content. Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining, research objective. The study constantly focuses on the comprehension and interpretation of their special heritage, in order to understand the logic of freedom and the spirit of nation-building, the meaning and orientation of the cultural-historical process in general, since without it it is impossible to reconstruct the process of building a perfect Ukrainian statehood, The research objective: in particular in the spirit of the civilizational principles of European freedom. Conclusions. Therefore, in the conclusion it is noted, in what exactly we mean words "freedom", "nobility", "plebeianism"; and such an exposition of the problem should be the basis for further study of ways to achieve a "historic compromise" (Ukrainophiles and Russophiles, Westerners and Slavophiles, left and right, cozacophiles and centrists, etc.) of all those who are trying to evolutionally overcome all provincial failings of the past ;
