Com base nos dados dos censos de 1970 e 1980, o artigo oferece um quadro do crescimento e da distribuicao da populacao nas 9 regioes metropolitanas do pais, mostrando o comportamento do nucleo e da periferia, a influencia da migracao e a participacao da populacao na faixa etaria de 20 a 59 anos. As principais conclusoes apontam a crescente concentracao, a elevada contribuicao da migracao, a pressao sobre o mercado de trabalho e ao crescimento mais acentuado das periferias em relacao aos nucleos metropolitanos

Evidence suggests that the question of migrations nowadays has become a major challenge of political, social and imaginary life of the "Tout-Monde". For this reason there is an undeniable heightening of the intraAfrican, transAfrican and transcontinental migrations. In addition to South-South migrations, migrations to Europe continue to attract more media attention. If mass migration is widespread in the world, it arouses painful memories in the particular case of the post-colonial Black African migrant. The general objective that is intended here is to put in tension, through the two novels El metro and Nativas, respectively by Donato Ndongo-Bidyogo and Inongo Vi Makomè, the myth of the "great story" of the supposedly vigorous sexual prowess of the Black. Another major task of this article is to contribute modestly to the work of demystifying the (sexual) figure of the Black African migrant in Europe/Occident. The choice of these two novels has double importance here. The first one is that they belong to the category of novels called migration novels (which are fully inscribed nowadays in what one can call the "littérature-monde". Secondly, they are novels that bring to light a large part of the problem of migrations, of "migrances" in general and, particularly, the problem of the advent of the postcolonial Black African migrant. The study has largely been based on the theoretical formulations of Victorien Lavou Zoungbo through is book Outsidering… (2007), in which he deals extensively with the question of the "great story of the sexual vigor-prowess of Black". His theoretical formulations in which he proposes a dynamic and operative articulation of the history of Blacks in the Americas seem to fit well with the question of the "presence-history" of Black African migrants in Europe. The study has shown that the myth of "great stories" (particularly the sexual vigor-prowess of Black) can be a factor of visceral rejection or "successful" integration of Black African migrants in Europe/Occident. ; Las migraciones hoy en día se han convertido en un gran desafío de la vida política, social e imaginaria del Tout-Monde. Por lo mismo, hay una innegable acentuación de las migraciones intraafricanas, transafricanas y transcontinentales. A las migraciones Sur-Sur, se añaden las migraciones hacia Europa que siguen captando más la atención de los medios de comunicación. Si la migración masiva está bien difundida en el mundo, despierta recuerdos dolorosos en el caso particular del migrante negro africano postcolonial. El objetivo general que se pretende aquí es poner en tensión, a través de las dos novelas El metro y Nativas, de Donato Ndongo-Bidyogo e Inongo Vi Makomè respectivamente, el mito del "gran relato" de la proeza sexual supuestamente vigorosa del Negro. Otro cometido mayor de este artículo es contribuir modestamente al trabajo de desmitificación de la figura (sexual) del migrante negroafricano en Europa/Occidente. La elección de estas dos novelas tiene aquí una doble importancia. La primera es que pertenecen a la categoría de las novelas llamadas novelas de migración (que se inscriben plenamente hoy en día en lo que se puede llamar la "littérature-monde"). Jorge Durand, antropólogo, professor e pesquisador do Departamento de Estudos sobre os Movimentos Sociais (DESMOS)da Universidade de Guadalajara, e codiretor dos projetos "Mexican Migration Project" e do "Latin American Migration Project", junto com Carmen Lussi, doutora em Teologia, com vasta experiência nas áreas de antropologia, migrações internacionais e refúgio, e atualmente assessora do CSEM - Centro Scalabriniano de Estudos Migratórios, Brasília, escrevem em conjunto a obra intitulada "Metodologia e Teoriasno Estudo das Migrações".

In the studies of exile and migration, we commonly find discussions that situate the subject of exile, represented by the universal male figure. However, in this article, we aim to demonstrate that, from the beginning of this social phenomenon, women also emigrated, even before exile became collective / family. The figure of immigrant women breaks the stereotype of a female who devotes herself to household tasks and highlights the female mobility (PERROT, 2000). Thus, we situate three categories of female figures, linked to the context of immigration, but which are invisible in their fight: the woman who remains but does not play a passive role; on the contrary, it ensures the financial scope of the family. We also highlight the figure of the woman follower, whose role is to participate in the maintenance of family networks; and finally the figure of the exile itself. The epistolary sources and the reparation dossiers of the law of 1881 authorize a broader analysis of what the judicial sources have so far privileged, namely, the male figure. O trabalho visa compreender os discursos empregados sobre os haitianos nos jornais impressos de três municípios do estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Mapeando as cidades que mais receberam haitianos nos últimos três anos: Caxias do Sul, Bento Gonçalves e Lajeado. Para a coleta das informações elegemos um jornal impresso de cada cidade durante o ano de 2014. Esses dados se articulam com os conceitos de imigração, sociabilidade e mídia. Inferimos que os discursos podem interferir nas vivências e nos processos de sociabilidades dos imigrantes haitianos. Evidenciamos que em alguns momentos as informações noticiadas atuam como promotores de informações assistencialistas aos imigrantes e em outras matérias reforçam o discurso de negação do sujeito por parte dos leitores sem manifestações positivas aos imigrantes.

Die Nationale Planungskommission und das Handelsministerium Mosambiks haben in Zusammenarbeit mit der EG und verschiedenen UNO-Organisationen die erste umfassende empirische Studie über die Notsituation Mosambiks infolge des Krieges und der Destabilisierung durch die RENAMO vorgelegt. In fünf Provinzen des Landes wurden Erhebungen über Produktion und Konsumtion sowie Gesundheit und Ernährungsstand der Bevölkerung durchgeführt, die statistisch zu verallgemeinern sind. Die Fragestellung umfaßte u.a. Art und Umfang des Einkommens, den Zugang zu Produktionsmitteln und Vermarktungsagenturen sowie die Ursachen für Flüchtlingsbewegungen. Daraus wurden Konsequenzen für internationale Hilfsmaßnahmen abgeleitet. Karten und ein umfangreicher statistischer Anhang sind beigefügt. (DÜI-TD)

In the 1970s & 1980s, migratory flows of Portuguese & luso-Africans from old Portuguese African colonies towards to Sao Paulo were the result of the pressures of difficult & complex African & Portuguese politics. Three very different cultural experiences were in play: that of the portuguese colony, the african context, & the Brazilian character of the destination, Sao Paulo. This paper explores the migrant's complex displacement experiences, the insertion of the migrant into the new context & the conflicts of identity that this migratory process entailed. We concentrate on the recent past, which has not been extensively researched. We use a method we call 'summarized life-histories', which seemed appropriate, as we didn't know what the immigrants would tell us. We present a number of specific cases to exemplify our analysis. Through them, we can see that memories refer to events, people & places from the three continents, through the conscious & unconscious construction of multiple identities.

The article focuses on the internet activism of young Spanish emigrants within the collective Marea Granate (MG). The digital narratives produced by the collective, which aim to deconstruct the speeches of the Spanish government on the current migration resulting from the economic crisis of 2008, are analyzed. The qualitative methodology is constructed in the combination of documentary research, observation and interviews with members of the collective MG. The article concludes that the counter discourses production of Marea Granate attributes visibility to the condition of precariousness that provoked the emigration of Spaniards, besides it gives evidence of absent perspectives in the discourse of the government, like the adoption of austerity policies by Spain and European Union. ; O artigo focaliza o ativismo na internet de jovens emigrantes espanhóis no âmbito do coletivo Marea Granate. São analisadas as narrativas digitais produzidas pelo coletivo que visam desconstruir os discursos do governo da Espanha sobre a migração atual decorrente da crise econômica de 2008. A metodologia qualitativa foi construída a partir da combinação de pesquisa documental, observação e entrevistas com integrantes do coletivo. O artigo conclui que a produção contradiscursiva do MG atribui visibilidade à precariedade que provocou a emigração de espanhóis, além de evidenciar perspectivas ausentes no discurso do governo, como a adoção de políticas de austeridade pela Espanha e União Europeia. ; Este artículo aborda el activismo en internet de emigrantes españoles en el ámbito del colectivo Marea Granate (MG). Se analizan las narrativas digitales que produce el colectivo para deconstruir los discursos del gobierno de España en torno a la migración española actual que resulta de la crisis económica de 2008. La metodología cualitativa se construyó combinando: la investigación documental, la observación y las entrevistas a integrantes del colectivo MG. Se concluye que la producción contradiscursiva de Marea Granate visibiliza la precariedad que ocasionó la emigración de españoles y evidencia perspectivas ausentes en el discurso del gobierno español, como la adopción de políticas de austeridad por España y la Unión Europea.
