This article is devoted to the history of the Department of Political Science and Sociology of Political Processes of the Faculty of Sociology at Lomonosov Moscow State University. The stages of the organization and formation of the Department, the processes of teaching formation and methodological activities, which have occurred over the thirty-year history of the Faculty of Sociology, are considered, and the priority areas of the professors research works are outlined. ; Представленная статья посвящена историческому аспекту развития кафедры политологии и социологии политических процессов социологического факультета Московского государственного университета имени М.В. The article analyzes approaches to the study of the concept of youth as an actor in political processes. The sociopolitical process is a complex phenomenon that involves many diff erent legal and physical entities and actors. Democratic tendencies, pluralism of opinions, diversity of forms of participation of citizens, including young people, in socio-political and spiritual life and their institutionalization allow us to speak about the existence of various types of youth associations and structures designed to perform important functions in society and the state.
This article studies the problems of ethno-political processes in Afghanistan's sociallife. This shock of social and political life was a manifestation of tension in the ethno-national sphere, originating in the time of the formation of the Afghan state, which was created by the Pashtun tribes with all the ensuing consequences.
If the beginning of the 21st century, with its rapid changes, somewhat led into deep confusion of the world in general and the country in particular, then the arisen is unknown from where Covid 19 and the so-called digitalization are already testing the strength of the human community once again and even more with tough manifestations. Target attitudes, formed over decades, are shifted in the criteria. Living preferences, built priorities, prevailing moral but ethical standards. Of course, the forms of social consciousness, among which economic science, if you use a generalizing term is crucial. And the history of countries with their various characteristics confirms this, as well as the fact that science itself is not represented is a set of dogmas or once and for all frozen truths. Economic science, reflecting, to one degree or another, the cyclically developing economic world, also changes its object, subject, methodological approaches, tools analysis.
The article deals with the methodological problems of transformation processes in political science in the late XIX-th-early XX centuries and in the period between the two world wars. The author reveals the causes and origins of the crisis phenomena in political science due to the new political realities in the world and new trends in the political science development. The process of modern political science formation is analyzed in its gradual development (formal-legal, traditional, behavioral and post-behavioral). The special role of the Chicago revolution in political science, which created the environment and the ground for the emergence of the "behavioral" revolution, is revealed. The main program provisions of the "behavioral" revolution are indicated, its results, the main vectors of political science development in the post-behavioral era are revealed.The role of structural functionalism (G. Almond and his school) in the formation of modern political science is revealed. The article deals with the interaction of political science with related social disciplines, which led to the emergence of some hybrid disciplines of political knowledge, including political sociology and political management. The content of the hybridization concept is revealed. The role of sociology in this process as the "main donor" of political science in the considered era is revealed. Object-subject areas of political sociology and political management, their place and role in the mechanism of socio-political systems functioning in the subject field of political science are defined. Generalizing conclusions are made. ; В статье рассматриваются методологические проблемы трансформационных процессов в политической науке в конце XIX — начале ХХ столетий и в период между двумя мировыми войнами. Раскрываются причины и истоки зарождения кризисных явлений в политической науке, обусловленные новыми политическими реалиями, сложившимися в мире, и новыми тенденциями в развитии самой политической науки. Процесс становления современной политической науки анализируется в ее поэтапном развитии (формально-правовом, традиционном, поведенческом и пост-поведенческом). Раскрыта особая роль "чикагской революции" в политологии, создавшей среду и почву для возникновения "поведенческой" революции. Обозначены основные программные положения "поведенческой" революции, выявлены ее результаты, основные векторы развития политической науки в пост-поведенческую эпоху.Раскрыта роль структурного функционализма (Г. Алмонд и его школа) в формировании современной политической науки. Рассматривается взаимодействие политической науки со смежными социальными дисциплинами, приведшее к появлению целого ряда гибридных дисциплин политического знания, в том числе политической социологии и политического менеджмента. Раскрыто содержание понятия "гибридизация". Выявлена роль социологии в этом процессе как "главного донора" политической науки в рассматриваемую эпоху. Определены объектно-предметные области политической социологии и политического менеджмента, их место и роль в механизме функционирования социально-политических систем, в предметном поле политической науки. Сделаны обобщающие выводы.
The author, parting from the premise that the world political analysts failed to foresee some prominent political changes of the recent times, comes to the conclusion about the inadequacy of the existing methods of political analysis and forecasting. Some recent scientifi c works by Russian and foreign specialists made him think that a purely rationalist approach to the world studies, that has been used since the times of the Renascence, partly exhausted itself. Along with the Russian authors Baranovski and Bogaturov, the Author thinks, that from now on our political analysis should be enriched by the introduction of some elements of a so called "natural – chaotic essence", which infl uences the world events through the element of "happening". The core of such an approach could include: 1) the recognition of a partial inadequacy of purely rationalist methods in our assessment of human nature and social phenomena; 2) the transference of the center of gravity in our social studies from economic to national-ethnic, culturological and civilizational aspects; 3) a wider use of historic analogies in the studies of all the problems of modern international relations. A linear character of our political forecasting will most evidently suffer because of that. Nevertheless, it would contribute to the elaboration of a more stereoscopic, complex view on the international relations as a whole and, particularly, on such problems as terrorism, illegal migration, separatism, and so on. The Author agrees with the thesis of some Occidental analysts (Bernard Yak, e.g.) that we should learn to "dutifully live" with certain irrational phenomena of political life (e.g. – nationalism), by purposely searching for and the accentuation of their "brighter" sides in the detriment of "dark" ones. The main prerequisite of such an accentuation, according to the Author, should be a wider use of education and culture. Culture, as a "positive" irrational actor (in all its demonstrations, including the political culture) should be seen as a promoter of a more active information strategy of Russia in the world arena. A shift for such a strategy is utterly necessary because a continuation of a "defensive" policy in this sphere can lead to signifi cant losses. ; В статье на основе анализа попыток предвидения глобальных политических сдвигов последних лет, делается вывод о несоответствии существующих методов политического анализа и прогнозирования складывающимся в мире реальностям. Изучение последних работ некоторых российских и зарубежных аналитиков утвердило автора в мысли о том, что сугубо рационалистический подход к постижению политической реальности, господствовавший со времен эпохи Возрождения, в значительной степени исчерпал себя. Вслед за российскими авторами В.Г. Барановским и А.Д. Богатуровым, он считает, что этот подход должен быть дополнен учетом элементов иррационального «природно- стихийного начала», которое воздействует на мир, используя элемент случайности. Суть такого подхода должна, по мнению автора, заключаться: 1) в признании нами недостаточности попыток сугубо рационального осмысления природы человека и его поведения в социальных средах; 2) в переносе центра тяжести в изучении наук о человеке с экономических на национально-этнические, культурологические и цивилизационные аспекты; 3) в более широком применении метода исторических аналогий для изучения всего комплекса проблем международных отношений. Линейный характер нашего прогнозирования в таком случае, скорее всего, пострадает. Однако это пойдет на пользу выработке стереоскопичного и комплексного представления о современном мире, которое столь необходимо в условиях роста общей непредсказуемости мировой политики и «неожиданного» для всех обострения таких глобальных проблем, как терроризм, незаконная миграция, сепаратизм и пр. Автор соглашается с мыслями некоторых западных ученых (Б. Як), которые одновременно призывают к необходимости научиться «правильно жить» с отдельными иррациональными проявлениями политической жизни (например, национализмом), путем поиска и акцентирования их «светлых» сторон и нивелирования «темных». Главным же резервом борьбы с проявлениями «темной» стороны иррационального начала в политике он считает более активное подключение к ней образования и культуры. Культура, как иррациональное начало со знаком «плюс» (включая и политическую культуру) должна, по его мнению, лежать в основе более активной и наступательной информационной стратегии России на международной арене. Переход к такой политике, по его мнению, сейчас является необходимым, поскольку «оборончество» в информационной сфере далее недопустимо.
The article examines the history of modernization processes in the world's social and political practice.The author analyzes the theories of modernization, the researchers' views on the peculiarities of modernization processes and the main problems faced by the states that have embarked on the path of transformation.Attention is paid to the conceptual basis of modernization processes: concepts of evolutionism, diff usionism, modern theories of socio-cultural dynamics. Political modernization can be regarded as a process of changing the political system. The main directions of the political modernization processes are: the changes of the political system, stabilization of political relations, institutional adaptation to the current realities and modern challenges, sustainable economic growth and democracy. States are going through a process of modernization in accordance with their goals, objectives and level of development.The concept of political modernisation is one of the key notions in the policy arrangements approach. It tries to capture those structural transformations in political domains in contemporary societies, which have or may have consequences for day-to-day policy practices. In turn, developments within certain policy practices may contribute to or contradict these structural transformations.

In contemporary political science time is becoming a portmanteau-concept. It forms terminological concatenations in all fields of theoretical and applied researches. At the same time methodological status of time in political science is still not clear. Author suggests a systematization of those researches there time is viewed as a meaningful factor in political process. On the analysis of theoretical basis, methodology and tools four approaches are introduced: narrative approach, psychological approach, institutionalist approach and cyclic approach. The order of introduction of these approaches is based on the degree of intentionality of political actors in their treatment of time: from the most to the least conscious end. ; В современной политической науке время все более становится концептом-портманто. Оно входит в состав терминологических конкатенаций в самых различных сферах прикладных и теоретических исследований. Вместе с тем, методологический статус времени остается почти не изученым вопросом в политологии. Автор предлагает систематизацию тех исследований в политической науке, в которых время представлено как значимый фактор политического процесса. Было выделено четыре подхода, исходя из анализа их теоретического обоснования, методологии и практического инструментария: структуралистский, психологический, институциональный и циклическовременной подходы. Предложенная последовательность подходов основана на степени интенциональности субъектов политического интереса в их обращении со временем: от наиболее к наименее осознанному порядку.
Political economy moves in wave-like patterns. Initially it had a universal character, simply as economic knowledge. Then came Karl Marx, with his Capital and critique of political economy. Later still came the division that saw some scholars accept Marxist political economy and others, the ideas denoted by the Russian transcription "ekomomiks". This verbal history of the terms that have been used to designate economic science may be topped off by referring to the fates and activity of the people who restore its fortunes. There are few such people, but the main thing is that they exist. Among them is the professor (and political economist!) V.V. Chekmarev. The purpose of this article is to show the influence of political economy on all aspects of human existence by reviewing the stages in the life of an outstanding representative of the scholarly world of economists, a person who has given 50 of his 70 years to the service of science.
The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the formal research methods in political science and the use of such methods in Russian comparative political and international studies, in particular at MGIMO-University. The author calls not to run to extremes when dealing with these methods, analyzing their advantages and limitations. ; Статья посвящена особенностям использования формализованных методов, а также их применения в российской политологической школе, в частности в МГИМО-Университете в сравнительных политических и международных исследованиях. Автор призывает к отказу от крайностей в отношении к данным методам, анализируя возможности и ограничения их использования.
The article considers the dependencies of interval variables–assessments (respondents' attitude to political parties, political leaders, satisfaction with the work of state bodies, attitude to the results of voting) from the nominal parameter "Political activity". To analyze the dependencies of both quantitative and nominal variables a new version of the author's method is applied. It became possible to talk about the dependence of a quantitative parameter on a multi-valued nominal variable and select strong dependencies for further description.

Politological researches of the transformation in the past two decades significantly contributed to the understanding of causes, forms of development and results of the processes of democratization and consolidation of the democaratic political system. At the same time, researchers have not yet comprehended the characteristics of a considerable number of new democracies which found themselves in the gray zone between consolidated, liberal and constitutional democracies and public autocracy. This paper aims at examining the substitutes as an element of formation of the modern political system ofRussia. As a result this brings us to the conclusion that the emergence of illiberal democracy can partially be explained by displacement of formal institutes of the constitutional state and its replacement with informal rules and institutes. ; Политологические исследования трансформации последних двух десятилетий значительно способствовали пониманию причин, форм развития и результатов процессов демократизации и консолидации демократической политической системы. В то же время они до сих пор не смогли осмыслить характеристики большого числа новых демократий, которые оказались в серой зоне между консолидированными, либеральными конституционно-правовыми демократиями и открытой автократией. Целью данной статьи является рассмотрение субститутов как элемента формирования современной политической системы России. В результате, можно сделать вывод, что возникновение нелиберальной демократии отчасти объясняется вытеснением формальных институтов конституционно-правового государства и их заменой неформальными правилами и институтами.
