Čovjekove spoznaje o zdravlju i bolesti nisu jedinstvene. Načini na koje se zdravlje i bolest shvaćaju izravno su povezani sa stanjem i odnosima u društvu, odnosno ponašanjem osobe i skupine. Sociološka istraživanja zdravlja i bolesti proučavaju društvene čimbenike koji mogu izazvati razne bolesti i nepovoljno utjecati na njihov razvoj i ishod. Istražujući stanje u društvu, nastoji se pronaći takve oblike društvenoga života koji unapređuju zdravlje i sprečavaju nastanak bolesti. Tipično pitanje kojim se sociološka istraživanja zdravlja i bolesti bave jest: kako stil života, spol, dob, rasa, društveno-ekonomske, socio-kulturne i druge razlike među ljudima utječu na kvalitetu zdravlja te na pojavu bolesti i njezin ishod? Osnovni cilj ovih istraživanja jest učiniti te spoznaje pristupačnima svim slojevima stanovništa, bez obzira na društveni položaj. Na taj su se način društvene znanosti, posebice sociologija medicine, etablirale kao akademska disciplina u zapadnim razvijenim državama (SAD-u, Njemačkoj itd.), gdje su se razvile odgovarajuće metode istraživanja koje postižu nedvojbene rezultate o stanju, razvoju i projekcijama društva. U realizaciji socioloških istraživanja zdravlja i bolesti u hrvatskim društvenim znanostima potrebno je afirmirati sociološki teorijsko-metodološki pristup primjeren ekonomskim, kulturnim, pravnim, etičkim i političkim promjenama u Hrvatskoj na pragu XXI. stoljeća. Služeći se bogatim iskustvima sociologije medicine zapadnih zemalja, prije svega SAD-a, hrvatski sociolozi medicine trebaju pratiti stanje zdravlja tranzicijskoga društva u kojemu dominiraju konflikti, diferencijacija, marginalizacija dijela društva i nemezis. Abschließende Stellungnahme 159 Literaturverzeichnis ; Das grundlegende Problem der Transformation des politischen, rechtlichen und wirtschaftlichen Systems des Staatskapitalismus in den Staaten Osteuropas stellt die Sicherung des Rückhalts dieser Reformbemühung in der Bevölkerung dar. Der Versuch der Umwandlung der Eigentums- und Wirtschaftsordnung ohne Berücksichtigung dieses Postulats wäre von vornherein zum Scheitern verurteilt. Der Konflikt zwischen dem freien Unternehmertum und der auf Vermögensgleichheit orientierten Denkweise der sozialistischen Ideologie kann ohne ein neues soziales Gleichgewicht oder zumindest eine sozial vertretbare Härtemilderung nicht erfolgreich gelöst werden. Die Sozialbindung des Eigentums könnte in diesem Zusammenhang ein wirksames Instrument dieser Konfliktlösung darstellen. Der Transformationsprozess in Bulgarien kommt in die zweite Dekade. Somit ist die Zeit gekommen, nicht nur Fragen zu stellen, sondern auch potentielle Antworten mit praktischen Beispielen zu vergleichen. Werteaspekte im Deutschunterricht der Realschule Repräsentative Paradigmen und literaturdidaktische Exemplifizierungen Die Aktualität der Werte-Thematik findet u.a. auch im Deutschunterricht ein komplexes Betätigungsfeld für unterrichtliche Aufgaben, die sowohl einer wissenschaftstheoretischen Erläuterung als auch einer Exemplifizierung an konkreten Unterrichtsbeispielen bedürfen. In den Kapiteln zwei und drei der Arbeit erfolgt deshalb zunächst eine terminologische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Werte-Begriffsfeld. Als Referenzgrundlage hierzu dient Nicolai Hartmanns Werk Ethik aus den Anfängen des 20. Jahrhunderts. Auf Grund des vielschichtig und klar differenzierten Wertekonzepts kann dieses auch heute noch mit allen modernen Ansätzen von Wertstrukturierungen konkurrieren. Ausgehend von gesellschaftspolitischen, familienbezogenen und schulischen Anliegen werden in Kapitel drei spezifische Perspektiven diskutiert, um so ein Verständnis zu bekommen für die vielschichtigen Werte-Bereiche der Jugendlichen: Damit sind all die Erlebensmomente anzusprechen, die im Zusammenhang stehen mit der Familie, der Schule und sonstigen sekundärgesellschaftlichen Gruppierungen, aber auch mit individuellen Erfahrungsparadigmen, wie dem Heimatempfinden, der Einstellung zur Politik, zur Arbeitswelt, zur Freizeit oder zur Sexualität. Umfassend dargestellt wird im dritten Kapitel vor allem der Lehrplan der sechsstufigen Realschule in Bayern. Die Ausführungen in diesem Zusammenhang sollen bei Bedarf als eine mögliche Arbeitsgrundlage und Fundstelle für die Ausgestaltung eigener unterrichtlicher Ideen im Zusammenhang mit der Wertethematik dienen. In Kapitel vier Welche Werte sind für junge Menschen von heute wichtig? polarisieren sich unter Berücksichtigung der "neuen Werte" der Jugend die bisher erarbeiteten Aspekte in einer Abgrenzung der "sittlichen" von den "nicht sittlichen" Werten. Hier wird vor allem die Auswertung einer Fragebogenaktion in Form von Diagrammen aufgezeigt. Im folgenden Kapitel fünf Was kann der Literaturunterricht zur Vermittlung und Reflexion von Werten beitragen? werden zunächst verschiedene gesellschaftspropädeutische Funktionen eines "wert-vollen" Literaturunterrichts dargestellt und in Zusammenhang gebracht mit Literatur als Sozialisationsinstrumentarium. Eine kurze synoptische Darstellung ausgewähl-ter fachdidaktischer Positionen aus der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts zu literaturdidaktischen Zielvorstellungen im Zusammenhang mit didaktischen Aspekten der Werteproblematik schließt diesen Teil der Arbeit ab. Im unterrichtspraktisch ausgerichteten Kapitel 6: Wie lässt sich das exemplarisch metho-disieren? geht es zunächst darum, Verfahrensmöglichkeiten im Literaturunterricht im Zusammenhang mit der Wertethematik zu evaluieren. Hier sind dies der Lehrervortrag, die Gruppenarbeit und das Unterrichtsgespräch, die auf ihre reale Umsetzbarkeit explorativ an Unterrichtsbeispielen überprüft werden. Die dabei zu Grunde gelegten Beispiele berücksichtigen sowohl literaturwissenschaftliche als auch literaturdidaktische Überlegungen. An Hand ausgewählter Textbeispiele aus Goethes Briefroman Die Leiden des jungen Werthers sollen unter literaturwissenschaftlicher Perspektive verschiedene unterrichtliche Ausgangspunkte für Werthaltungsfragen angesprochen werden, die durchaus in einer achten Jahrgangsstufe thematisierbar sind. Eine literaturdidaktische Fokussierung ist dort angebracht, wo sich kreative Arbeitsweisen in Verbindung mit Handlungs- und Produktionsorientierung anbieten. Im Mittelpunkt steht hier deshalb neben dem abschließenden Unterrichtsbeispiel zu dem Text Spaghetti für zwei die Darstellung eines "Märchen-Projekts" in einer 5. Jahrgangsstufe. Gezeigt wird, wie die Werte-Thematik mittels verschiedener integrativer, aber auch fächerübergreifender Verknüpfungen in einer Unterrichtssequenz variantenreich anwendbar ist. ; Value aspects in German lessons of the Realschule Representative paradigms and literature-didactic exemplifications Among other topics the actuality of value-aspects has in German lessons a complex field of application for educational purposes, which need a scientific-theoretical explanation as well as real classroom exemplifications. The focus in the chapters two and three is therefore on the value-term itself. Basis for discussion is Nicolai Hartmann`s publication "EthiK" from the early years of the twentieth century. His publication can even today compete with all the other modern accounts of value-systematizations because of its multifarious and clearly distinguished value-plan. In order to make the multifarious value-attitudes of young people transparent, chapter three discusses particular views on the basis of topics about concerns of society, family and school: That implies all the moments of experience correlating with the family, school and any other subordinate social groups but also with individual moments of experience, for example concerning home, policy, work, spare time and sexuality. Chapter three first of all describes and interprets in great detail the background and aims of the curriculum of the 6-form-Realschule in Bavaria. In case of need the classroom realizations on the basis of this curriculum are meant to be a basis for individual didactic teaching structures in combination with value aspects. In chapter four "Which values are nowadays important for young people?" the so far discussed aspects polarize in consideration of the "new values" of the young people. Here the focus is based on the evaluation of a questionnaire in forme of graphs. The following chapter five "What can literature lessons contribute to the mediation and reflexion of values? first discusses different functions of social valuable literature lessons and correlates it with literature as an instrument for sozialisation. This part of the publication ends with a short synoptic presentation of selected didactic positions from the second half of the 20th century about didactic aims in literature in correlation with didactic aspects of value. The mainly practical chapter six: Which methods can be used to exemplify this? first focuses on the evaluation of teaching techniques in literature lessons on the basis of didactic aspects about values. The items picked up here are the teachers lecture, teamwork, and the qualified teaching discourse, which are screened for their realization in literature lessons. The considered examples regard aspects of literary science as well as those of literary didactic. Different positions about value aspects, which seem suitable for literature lessons in an 8th form, are discussed on the basis of selected text examples from Goethe`s letter novel "Die Leiden des jungen Werthers". A literary didactic focus seems appropriate, where creative procedures are possible in combination with a practical and productive orientation. Besides the final teaching example developed on the text "Spaghetti für zwei" the centre of interest is here on the presentation of a fairy-tale project in a 5th form. It exemplifies how value-aspects are applicable in a teaching sequence by means of integration and by including other subjects.

Der Beitrag wägt die Vor- und Nachteile des dualen Berufsbildungswesens in Deutschland gegen die sehr viel weniger geregelte Ausbildung in Großbritannien ab. Es werden die Interessen dargelegt, die Arbeitgeber daran hindern bzw. ermutigen; eine betriebsspezifische oder aber eine allgemein anwendbare Aus- oder Fortbildung anzubieten. Verglichen werden Muster einer Interventionspolitik und wirtschaftlicher Regulierung mit denen eines Prinzips des freien Marktes, beides in parlamentarischen Systemen. Der Vergleich der britischen und der deutschen Entwicklung zeigt die unterschiedlichen Voraussetzungen beider Gesellschaften, die auch einer Übertragung des dualen Berufsbildungssystems entgegenstehen. The authors reveal the interests which either impede or encourage employers to offer either a training specific to the respective firm or generally applicable training and further education. Patterns of a policy of intervention and economic regulation are compared with those of a free market principle within the context of parlamentary Systems. A comparison of the British and the German development reveals the divergent preconditions of the two societies which preclude a transfer of the dual system of vocational education. (DIPF/Orig.)

The archive consists of articles published during his life on the author's work, his person and his influence on the society and culture of his age. It is well known that the 'key contemporary', as Gide was called, represents an essential reference point for several generations of intellectuals. Thus the articles in Gidian Archives provide crucial evidence on the history of thought across half a century. In addition to press cuttings tracing the critical reception of each of Gide's works, the archives contain polemical articles on his cultural interventions, on his political commitments and on matters of contemporary concern. Through what his professional readers say about Gide it is possible to follow the careers of other writers who declared and defined their own thought in dialogue with his. Similarly, the evolution of periodicals which published texts on Gide can be traced by means of this key research tool. The interest of the collection extends well beyond Gide studies. Leistungen des Sozialrechts werden grundsätzlich auf Antrag gewährt. Die Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Frage der rechtlichen Bedeutung des Leistungsantrags in den einzelnen Bereichen des Sozialrechts. Dabei beschränkt sie sich auf rechtstheoretische Darstellungen in Zusammenhang mit dem sozialrechtlichen Leistungsantrag, der auf den Erlass eines Verwaltungsaktes bzw. den Abschluss eines öffentlich-rechtlichen Vertrages zielt. Voraussetzung ist, dass der Antrag von einer Privatperson an einen Träger öffentlicher Gewalt gerichtet ist. Nachdem zunächst auf die Dispositionsmaxime in Abgrenzung zur Offizialmaxime und das Opportunitätsprinzip (Kapitel II) in Zusammenhang mit der Eröffnung des Verwaltungsverfahrens eingegangen wird, soll nach der Klärung des rechtlichen und außerrechtlichen Antragsbegriffs (Kapitel III) der Antrag als Willenserklärung des öffentlichen Rechts charakterisiert werden (Kapitel IV). In Kapitel V erfolgt unter Berücksichtigung der Sozialgesetzbücher eine Abgrenzung der Leistungen, die von Amts zu erbringen sind, zu denjenigen, die vom Leistungsträger aufgrund eines Antrages erbracht werden. Die Darstellung der einzelnen Sozialrechtsbereiche orientiert sich dabei an der Einteilung in Vorsorgesysteme, soziale Entschädigungssysteme und in allgemeine Hilfs- und Fördersysteme. In Kapitel VI wird im Hinblick auf die antragsabhängigen Sozialleistungen untersucht, ob den verschiedenen sozialrechtlichen Anträgen nur verfahrenseinleitende formell-rechtliche Wirkung oder auch anspruchsbegründender materiell-rechtlicher Charakter zukommt. Diese Problematik hat erheblich Auswirkungen auf den Zeitpunkt der Entstehung und der Fälligkeit des einzelnen Leistungsanspruchs aber auch Fragen der Rechtsnachfolge hängen hiervon ab. Auf die Gesetzeshistorie wird ergänzend eingegangen. In Kapitel VII wird der Frage nachgegangen, welche Informationspflichten, d.h. Auskunfts-, Beratungs- und Aufklärungspflichten, die Sozialleistungsträger im Vorfeld der Antragstellung, aber auch während des laufenden Verwaltungsverfahrens zu beachten haben. In Kapitel VIII geht es um die Wirksamkeitsvoraussetzungen eines Leistungsantrags. In diesem Zusammenhang werden Fragen der Handlungsfähigkeit des Antragstellers, die Problematik der Verwaltungssprache, inhaltliche Mindestanforderungen, die an einen Leistungsantrag gestellt werden müssen und die verschiedenen Auslegungs- und Umdeutungsmöglichkeiten des vom Antragsteller ausgedrückten Begehrens den Schwerpunkt darstellen. Im weiteren soll dann der Umfang der gesetzlichen und außergesetzlichen Mitwirkungspflichten, die den Antragsteller regelmäßig als Folge des Leistungsbegehrens treffen, untersucht und dargestellt werden. (Kapitel IX) An diesen Problemkreis anschließend werden die Rechtsfolgen einer wirksamen Antragstellung erläutert, wobei insbesondere der Problemkreis der Verjährungsunterbrechung, das Entstehen des Sozialleistungsanspruchs und seine Fälligkeit sowie die Besonderheiten der gesetzlichen Rentenversicherung dargestellt werden. (Kapitel X) Das XI. Kapitel beleuchtet die Antragsrücknahme, die wesentlich von der Dispositionsbefugnis des Antragstellers abhängt. Ausgehend davon, dass der sozialrechtliche Leistungsantrag von dem tatsächlich Leistungsberechtigten unter Berücksichtigung der rechtlichen Vorschriften gestellt worden ist, ist im XII. Kapitel die Frage aufzuwerfen, welche Folgen Willensmängel in Zusammenhang mit der Antragstellung haben. Dabei sind zunächst offensichtliche Willensmängel zu berücksichtigen. Fraglich ist des weiteren, ob und unter Beachtung welcher rechtlichen Grundsätze und mit welcher rechtlichen Konsequenz der Leistungsantrag als Willenserklärung des öffentlichen Rechts angefochten werden kann. In Kapitel XIII sollen die Auswirkungen einer Übertragung bzw. eines Übergangs des sozialrechtlichen Leistungsanspruchs auf den Leistungsantrag dargestellt werden. Bei dieser Betrachtung wird unterschieden, ob der Rechtsübergang vor oder nach wirksamer Antragstellung durch ; Benefits of social legislation are fundamentally granted on application. This thesis deals with the legal importance of the application for benefits in the areas of social legislation. It confines itself to theoretical legal elaborations connected with social benefit – applications aiming at administrative measures or the conclusion of contracts under public law, which requires the application of an individual addressed to the respective department of public administration. Chapter II deals with the maxim of disposition as distinguished from the legal maxim in general and the principle of opportuneness in connection with the opening of administrative measures. Chapter III explains the legal and extralegal term of application and Chapter IV characterizes the application as professed intention within the public law. In Chapter V follows a distinction between the benefits granted by the responsible authorities on their own and the benefits granted on application. This includes references to various systems of social help. Chapter VI analyzes the different applications for social benefits and describes if they only open procedures formally or if they already establish claims materially. This question has a direct bearing on the time when the payment begins and on its legal consequences. Additionally historical aspects will be dealt with. Chapter VII refers to the applicants right to be fully informed, not only before his application but also during the respective administrative procedures. Chapter VIII points out the conditions to make an application valid. It refers to the power to act, necessary contents and different interpretations and explanations of the claimants/applicants wishes. Chapter IX looks into the legal and extralegal duties of cooperation the claimant/applicant must provide. Chapter X deals with the legal consequences of a valid application/claim, particularly problems of the limitation period and its interruption, the settlement date and the peculiarities of the legal pension scheme. Chapter XI enlarges on taking back the application, which mainly depends on the claimant´s/applicant´s power to act. Assuming that the application for social benefits has been made out correctly by the person who is legally entitled to them, Chapter XII deals with uncertainties in connection with the act of application. First there are obvious faults, then there is the question if, based on which legal principles, and with which legal consequences the application for benefits can be contested as an act of will within the public law. Chapter XIII deals with the consequences following the transition of a right to receive benefits to the application/claim itself and makes a distinction if the legal transition precedes or follows the effective application of the entitled person.

Die Stadtbewohner haben einen großen Einfluss auf ihre Umwelt, sei es die unmittelbare Umgebung ihrer Wohnsiedlung oder ihre Stadt insgesamt. Bei der Gestaltung der Umgebung der Wohnsiedlung sind soziale, ökonomische sowie kulturelle Aspekte zu beachten. Sie beeinflussen den physischen Aspekt der Wohnsiedlung und weiterhin die Formung einer Stadt. Da Menschen ihre Umwelt, die einen Teil der Stadt darstellt, häufig verändern, müssen die Änderungen gründlich beachtet und analysiert werden, um die Stadtplanung zu verbessern. Als Untersuchungsobjekt der Arbeit werden die Wohnsiedlungen ('desa' / Dorf) in der Stadt Denpasar auf Bali, Indonesien gewählt, wobei Denpasar einen besonderen traditionellen Charakter hat. Die Städte auf Bali werden von 'desa' abgeleitet, so dass die 'desa' eine wesentliche Rolle für die künftige Entwicklung von Denpasar spielen. Aufgrund der relativ rapiden Stadtentwicklung orientieren sich offizielle Bauvorschriften, die von Stadtverwaltungen gesetzt werden, in der Regel an baulichen Gegebenheiten und werden ohne Rücksicht auf soziale, kulturelle und ökonomische Bedingungen der städtischen 'desa' in der Stadtplanung durchgeführt. Auf der anderen Seite stellt eine 'desa' wegen ihrer Kultur und Tradition ein relativ 'stabiles' Element der Stadt dar. Außerdem werden oft 'desa' wegen ihrer Eigenschaften, die 'statischer' als die Stadt sind, als 'Hindernis' des Stadtwachstums gesehen, da die städtischen 'desa' relativ langsam wachsen und nicht sofort den Stadtveränderungen folgen. Das große Problem ist, dass die Stadtplaner und die Stadtverwaltung, mit dem besonderen Ziel zur Entwicklung der Stadt Denpasar, ungünstige Änderungen und unerwünschte Umwandlungen der Stadtflächen ausführen könnten. Der Schwerpunkt der Arbeit liegt in der Beurteilung, in welchem Umfang die existierenden 'desa' in Zukunft noch erhalten werden können und in den Vorschlägen der verbesserten 'desa-Entwicklung' und der Stadtplanung Denpasars. ; The inhabitants of a city have a great influence on its environment, either on direct surrounding of their housing or on the city as a whole. In the development process of housing environments, the social, economic, and cultural aspects should be considered. These unphysical aspects influence the physical aspect of the housing and furthermore also the city development. Since people always change their environment which represents a part of the city, this change should be carefully analysed in order to improve the city planning. In this work, the housing settlement ('desa' or village) of Denpasar in Bali, Indonesia is chosen as an investigation object, because Denpasar has a unique traditional character. Basically, the cities in Bali are derived from 'desa', so 'desa' plays an important role for the future development of Denpasar. Due to the relative rapid urban development, the official construction specifications, which are normally authorised by city government, are made according to the structural/physical conditions of the city. These specifications are applied in the city planning without considering social, cultural and economic conditions of the urban 'desa'. However, a 'desa' with its culture and tradition represents a relative 'stable' element of the city, and so, often 'desa' is seen as an 'obstacle' of the city growth. 'Desa' is supposed to be more 'static' than city, because the urban 'desa' grows slowly and can not immediately follow city changes. Unfavourable changes and unwanted transformations of the land use, which are caused by city planners and city government who want to develop Denpasar, can be a great problem for the city. The main emphasis of the work lies in the assessment of how far the existing 'desa' still can be maintained in the future, and also in the suggestions of the optimal development of 'desa' and Denpasar city planning.

This article is based on the empirical reconstruction of individual voting behavior of a whole community in midnineteenth century Wurttemberg. The central question is, whether before the Revolution of 1848 liberalism succeeded in dissolving the local structures of the notabilities' system and whether voting behavior tended towards strict partisan decision-making. The empirical results show that - although liberalism became more popular and got an enormous amount of votes in community council elections - individual voting, in important aspects, still followed the classical patterns of a Weberian notabilities' system. Voters preferred candidates of wealth and education who were experienced in local administration. Until 1848 there was no group that voted strictly and exclusively liberal - not even the organised liberals themselves. This voting behavior changed in the process of the Revolution of 1848/49, and subsequently reflected the emergence of political parties. ; This article is based on the empirical reconstruction of individual voting behavior of a whole community in midnineteenth century Wurttemberg.
