The article analysis the United Nations' role in upholding political dialogue on the fate of Palestinian refugees and providing direct assistance to the Palestinians.The article traces the work of the UN Conciliation Commission, the UN Relief for Palestine Refugees (UNRPR), and the reasons for the establishment of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East and the organization of work.
