Este trabajo presenta una investigación antropológica de carácter cualitativo que trata de mostrar la institución familiar y las relaciones de género, como inseparables del contexto sociocultural en el que se inscriben. Así, se tiene en cuenta de qué forma la dinámica y características de la familia se modelan en función de aspectos históricos, políticos, económicos e ideológicos. En particular, se analiza el caso cubano con el objetivo de averiguar hasta qué punto su pasado colonial y la incidencia de un Gobierno que, desde su instauración en 1959, proclamó su interés por lograr la igualdad entre géneros e incentivó la presencia de las mujeres en el espacio público, han incidido en el cambio o transformación de la familia y en la situación de la mujer cubana tanto dentro como fuera de la Isla. ; This work presents a qualitative approach to anthropological research that tries to show the family institution and the gender relationship as inseparable from the sociocultural context in which they exist. It considers how the dynamic and the characteristics of the family are modelled depending on historic, political, economic and ideological aspects. Abstract
Social work has always recognized the importance of community development as a key element in intervention and social change. Even so, the neoliberal context currently affecting the reality of most of the countries in the Global North is directly influencing the weakening of community actions and is reinforcing more individualistic positions. The main objective of this paper is to analyze the extent to which neoliberal policies are impacting on the teaching of community development content on social work programs in Spain and to study the impact of this reality on the implementation of community plans and projects in Catalonia. The methodology used was qualitative and was based on a systematic review of institutional documentation, community programs and specialized literature. Likewise, the study plans of the 32 universities currently teaching the social work degree in Spain were carefully reviewed to identify and analyze the subjects that focus their primary content on community development. We highlight the purpose of public and private institutions to maintain and promote community development plans and programs and the need to broaden and promote the community development approach in social work study plans. Finally, we present recommendations on how to promote social intervention and community development as key elements in both the training and practice of the social work profession.

In line with the advances in the analysis of migration processes and other phenomena of human mobility, thanks to the contributions of theoretical and methodological framework of transnationalism, we intend to make a brief presentation on the specifities of the Cuban case in Spain. As we will have the opportunity to discuss later, one of the peculiarities of Cuban migration is the multitude of obstacles and constraints that the Cuban State imposes on the transnational movement of its citizens. These bureaucratic and political restrictions are a reality inseparable from the design that people make of their migratory project. ; En consonancia con los avances experimentados en el análisis de los procesos migratorios y de otros fenómenos de movilidad humana 1, gracias a las aportaciones del marco teórico y epistemológico del transnacionalismo, nos proponemos realizar una presentación sucinta de las particularidades del caso cubano en España. Como tendremos la oportunidad de analizar más adelante, una de las peculiaridades de la emigración cubana consiste en la multiplicidad de trabas y cortapisas que el Estado cubano imponea la circulación transnacional de sus ciudadanos. Estas restricciones burocrático-políticas constituyen una realidad inseparable del diseño que las personas hacen de su proyecto migratorio.

Abstract
This article aims to break with two social stereotypes often held about Latinas in Spain. Authors analyze Latinas' main strengths from a resilient and intersectional approach, to consider them holistically within social work interventions. Rather than focusing on Latinas' difficulties, authors point to their multiple strengths and the ability to move forward. The study took place in the province of Tarragona, Catalonia (Spain). A qualitative approach was used. Participants included Latinas living in Tarragona and social workers from the Tarragona social services. The techniques used were nine life stories and 59 semi-open questionnaires with Latinas, and 14 interviews with social workers. The authors identified a fighting attitude and an entrepreneurial and creative spirit as both individual and collective strengths, especially within Latinas' social networks. Latinas did not recognize themselves as victims, nor did they claim to assume that identity. The social workers' interventions are implemented in a weak welfare system based on a model characterized by a paternalistic and victim-based viewpoint. Adopting approaches such as intersectionality and resilience would allow for the creation of fairer policies, programs, and projects targeted for Latinas, not just in Spain, but in other countries, too.
