The article gives an approximate version of the model for the formation of the domestic system of operational-investigative crime prevention in the context of the digital transformation of society.

The study and analysis of scientific literature shows that the emergence and development of units to combat tax crimes has a long history, which is closely linked with the birth of the tax system of Russia. These divisions usually existed in the structure of the police (militia). The extensive material available today on the history of specialized departments needs a deep theoretical understanding in the context of forming a modern model that meets the realities of today.

The authors consider the concept of corruption in each stage of the formation of the Russian state. A special attention is paid to the difference between bribery and corruption. On the base of historical documents the origins of corruption and the mechanism for fighting it are disclosed.

The article discusses the emergence and further development of the mechanism for combating counterfeiting in Russia. The extensive material available to date on the history of the emergence of counterfeiting and the fight against it objectively needs a deep theoretical understanding in the context of creating a modern mechanism of the counteraction to this socio-legal phenomenon.
