Objective: To analyze the contextual aspects of nursing care across the prevention of vertical transmission of HIV. Method: this is an integrative review conducted in the databases SCOPUS, CINAHL, PUBMED and LILACS. The articles were analyzed using the theoretical framework of contextual analysis, according to Hinds, Chaves and Cypress. Results: the results were: nurses´ performance against the prevention of vertical transmission (immediate); factors hinder this prevention (specific); cultural aspects involved (general) and Health Policies aimed at preventing HIV/AIDS (meta-context). Conclusion: the analysis of these dimensions involves a growing understanding of the phenomenon and their interrelations. The nurse should know the angles of this reality to act with better resolution and quality in prevention of vertical HIV transmission.

Objective: To synthesize the knowledge produced in the scientific literature about the most frequent nursing diagnosis in people with Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome. Method: it is an integrative literature review conducted in the databases SCOPUS, PubMed, LILACS and BDENF. Results: seven nursing diagnosis were identified of which 04 were cited in 66% of the articles: lack of knowledge, fear, and imbalanced nutrition: less than body requirements and risk of infection. The ND anxiety, ineffective management of therapeutic regimen and diarrhea were cited in 50% of the articles. Conclusion: there are gaps in the studies analyzed, because the nurses did not describe in some developed diagnosis which defining characteristics and related factors of ND established by them.

Objective: To evaluate the user satisfaction of the family health strategy in Santa Cruz / RN and analyze the implantation consequences of PSF in the health of the local population. Method: It was conducted an exploratory descriptive study with qualitative boarding, with data obtained from structured interview applied on users in the period October 2010 to September 2011. Results: High levels of satisfaction in relation to access, waiting time, service and infrastructure, in addition to significant dissatisfaction related to the marking of examinations and participation of the population in the management of the unit. Conclusion: It is suggested improvements in the integration of UBS with other levels of care, and the implementation of projects that make the active population within units.

Objective: This study aimed at identifying the relationship between the chronic non-communicable diseases and the functional capacity of domiciled elderly people. Method: This is a descriptive and correlational study, with quantitative nature, in which 90 elderly subjects registered in the Family Health Strategy were assessed. Results: The study showed a high frequency of chronic diseases in elderly subjects, especially systemic arterial hypertension (SAH) and diabetes mellitus (DM) (97,8% and 24,4%, respectively). Regarding the Daily Life Activities (DLA), 16% of the surveyed elderly showed dependence for at least one activity. In relation to the Instrumental Daily Life Activities, 81% showed some dependence for its accomplishment. Conclusion: In the studied reality, being hypertensive, or hypertensive and diabetic at the same time, is related to the presence of functional dependence in the elderly person.

Objective: To identify the humanized care as an instrument of reorganization of the mental health nursing
practice. Method: exploratory research, qualitative character, developed with nurses of a mental health
hospital of Mossoró-RN. As data collection instrument a semi-structured interview script was used. The
data collection was held in the institution and applied to thematic analysis of content proposed by Minayo.
Results: respondents understand that humanization means caring for people, collectively, with
responsibility, commitment and ethics, helping them overcome their limitations. They are based on the
concept of the Psychiatric Reform as a movement, which brought significant gains for the new focus of
mental health, in which the philosophy of humanization can contribute to an effective and precedent
nursing care. Conclusion: To be open to criticism and being able to do teamwork with balance and
compromise with the redefinition of policies of assistance to the person with mental disorder.

Objective: To investigate the quality of care offered to pregnant woman in a maternity ward. Method: This is a descriptive, exploratory study with a qualitative approach and basic and applied nature conducted through interviews with mothers. The sample was through the saturation of the collected data was used to thematic analysis. Results: It was observed that most of the women in the age group between 20-29 years old have a partner; all have little education and low income. Most of them underwent normal deliveries and none of the users had completed their partograph during labor. Following categories emerged: Ease in attendance; Quality of care; Humanization of care; Pre-test counseling for HIV; Respect the right of patients to have a companion, and Right to Information. Conclusion: The concept of quality in health brought by those interviewed related the proper care with interpersonal issues, technical skills and adequate infrastructure.

Objective: To describe the epidemiological profile of women with HPV who treated in a Basic Health Unit. Method: A survey of quantitative trait was performed in a district in the municipality of Santa Cruz/RN through the individual records of 205 users of the Unit. Results: The epidemiological profile was characterized by women with age between 19-30 years; married; white; schooling until the incomplete high school; income up to a wage minimum; first intercourse among 15-17 years; with a partner. Conclusion: The same are in the risk group for the involvement of HPV because they present themselves as young, married, low education and income, and sexual initiation before age 18 years.

Objective: To identify factors related to the development of ulcers in the lower limbs of insulin-dependent users
residing in the city of São José de Mipibu/RN. Method: Quantitative research; we obtained data thought interview
followed by static inspection and application of Semmes-Weinstein monofilaments to assess the threshold of
plantar tactile sensitivity. The Ethics Committee of the Potiguar University of Natal/RN approved this research,
under the Certificate of Presentation for Ethical Consideration number 0037.0.052.000-11. Results: The age
range was 21-72 years old; 68.4% were female; 63.3% were living in urban areas. We can highlight as factors
related to development of ulcers in the lower limbs: sedentary lifestyle (71.6%), hypertension (65%) and a
history of cardiovascular disease (56.7%). In the evaluation of the feet, 26.7% had dry skin; 15% had scaly skin;
38.3%, farinaceous nails; 30%, thickened nails and 35%, dermatitis. Regarding the tactile sensitivity, 18.3% had
anesthesia of the affected limb. Conclusion: The data suggests that this population is likely to develop more
severe and disabling complications of Diabetes Mellitus.

Objective: to understand how mothers of preterm infants perceive the relationship between health and spirituality and its benefits on the severity health picture of their children. Method: qualitative research with 32 mothers whose children were admitted to a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a maternity hospital in Natal/RN/Brazil. There were semi-structured interviews and focus groups between February and May 2012, after a favorable opinion from the Ethics Committee in Research of UFRN and CAAE 0336.0.051.000.1. Data analysis was thematic analysis. Results: the relationship between health and spirituality was unveiled in the study as a positive phenomenon helping mothers avoiding discouragement and keeping hope in restoring the health of the child in the Intensive Care Unit. Conclusion: it is suggested after the results, actions and projects that promote soft technologies, aiming at promoting and completeness in health care.

Objective: to characterize the clinical-epidemiological profile and habits of life of HIV-positive adults. Methods: this is a descriptive, cross-sectional and quantitative study with a sample of 331 HIV-positive people with outpatient scheduling between February and August 2014 in a reference hospital from Natal/RN. Data collection was conducted through a semi-structured interview. Results: the results showed a predominance of men (52%), young people (42%) natural from the capital (58%), brown color (53%), single (56%), heterosexual (79%), poor (68%). Most of them held the first anti-HIV test for less than five years (60%), had signs and symptoms of AIDS before the test (90%), were hospitalized (90%), started HAART for less than five years (60%), suppose they have good knowledge of the disease (75%), and believe that their health has improved (92%). Most of them do not consume alcohol (71%), are non-smokers (88%), do not use illicit drugs (92%) and had never used preservatives before diagnosis (62%). Conclusion: the identified profile follow the national trends.

Objective: to analyze the risk factors for early neonatal mortality. Method: analytical study with secondary
data, from 2003 to 2012 in the state of Rio Grande do Norte (RN). The data were collected from the
Department of the Unified Health System (SUS) and analyzed using descriptive statistics, the chi-square test
from Pearson. Results: it was noteworthy the ratio of prevalence of low birth weight with 43.70 and then
immediately prematurity with 41.55. It features as protective factor, maternal education 8 to 11 years of
study. The first week of life: low birth weight, preterm and post-term, mothers with no education, the black
race, twin pregnancy, teenagers pregnant and advanced age were risk factors for infant mortality in the
early neonatal period. Conclusion: therefore, health services should prioritize prenatal, childbirth and
postpartum care.

Objective: to analyze the perceptions of adolescents in provisional reception about its vulnerability to HIV. Method: descriptive and exploratory study of qualitative nature. It was conducted with adolescents institutionalized in Casa de Passagem III located in Natal, State of Rio Grande do Norte, by the Focal Group technique (FG). Results: the elements addressed were relating to knowledge about HIV/Aids; selfprojection and responsibility in sexual sphere; behaviors and values; and the institution's contribution in the prevention of HIV/Aids. Conclusion: adolescents' perceptions regarding the vulnerability to HIV reflect other social problems, highlighting the need for multiple-based intervention direction, mainly in response to social needs of these adolescents.

Objective: To know the therapeutic itinerary of patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) under dialytic treatment. Method: This is a descriptive and exploratory study, with qualitative nature, performed in 40 patients with chronic renal failure who underwent dialysis in a clinic located in the municipality of NatalRN. The data collection was held through semi-structured interviews. Results: The study showed that the therapeutic itinerary of the interviewed patients was marked by the discovery of the renal disease, search for health care, dialytic treatment and future prospects. Conclusion: it was notorious that the majority of the interviewed were belatedly referred to the specialist, when the renal function is already largely affected, which often requires a dialytic treatment or even the accomplishment of urgent admissions. The transplantation was characterized as hope for a better quality of life and release from the dialytic therapy.

Objective: This is it an evaluative study with a quantitative approach that aimed to assess the user satisfaction for outpatient care, conducted in a referral hospital in the treatment of AIDS in Natal/RN. Method: The target population consisted of all 626 patients with HIV in monitoring. As an instrument of data collection used a structured form. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: was observed that males with a mean age of 38 years, characterize the profile of HIV carriers coming from metropolis, with basic education and family income of up to two minimum wages, and type of heterosexual exposure. Most users deemed the service of assessment unsatisfactory. Was observed a significant difference (ρ < 0,001) between the variable of satisfaction and the predictor variables. Conclusion: We conclude that the health care service was appointed as being unsatisfactory by respondents demonstrated this by statistical tests.

Objective: To evaluate the quality of care provided for people with HIV/AIDS at the Reference Center for the
treatment of AIDS in Natal-RN, in the health professionals' perspective. Methods: Evaluative and quantitative
research conducted in a public hospital in Natal/RN, from August 2010 to July 2011, through structured
interviews with professionals who provide care for people with HIV. Results: The evaluation of the service
was considered satisfactory by 58.8% of respondents, standing on nine indicators: support offered by the
service, convenience of service hours, host, provided guidance on treatment, timeliness of health professionals,
availability of antiretroviral drugs, availability of laboratory tests, professional/user relationship and ease of
access to service. Conclusion: There was no significant difference in satisfaction with the indicators: punctuality
of professionals, convenience of service timetables and availability of laboratory tests.
