The dialectics of relation Me - Other as the first relationship of the community speaks, above all, about communication. The communication chain that every human existence enters into by its birth, points to the complex cycle of interactivity. The mosaic of experiences acquired in the entire spectrum of relations is always framed by certain social contexts. Through existence with the Other, we discover the complex network of interdependent relations. Having been influenced by innovative technologies, society creates a brand new culture, that transforms social interactions and it is an invitation for creating some new types of interactions.

This study attempts to provide initial tentative insights into the audience reception of intertwining political satire and destination marketing imagery by analysing the "America First, the Netherlands Second" video and a student sample audience response. In 2017, a series of YouTube videos named "America First" went viral. The video that started the viral phenomenon was "America First, the Netherlands Second", responding in a satirical manner to the "America First" message of the inaugural speech of U.S. president Donald J. Trump. They achieved extreme popularity both in number of views and number of new memetic videos with similar satirical messages. These videos were a form of political expression and at first sight did not seem to have much in common with communication in tourism. However, the videos included typical destination marketing imagery, intertwined with satirical representations, thus representing a humorous "spoof" on destination marketing. The study analyses participants' memory recall, eye-tracking movements and focus group responses in order to provide initial conclusions on how audiences respond to the intertwining of satirical political expression and destination marketing imagery.

Prehranska varnost je v skupni kmetijski politiki pridobila na pomenu v Evropski uniji (EU) in tudi na nacionalni ravni. V zadnjih dveh finančnih perspektivah so še zlasti izpostavljene kratke prehranske verige in lokalna pridelava tudi v luči omejevanja izpustov toplogrednih plinov z zmanjševanjem transporta, ki je zaradi nizkih stroškov fosilne energije in poceni delovne sile na obrobju Evrope in izven nje omogočil dobavo poceni hrane z globalnega trga. Različne krize (finančna, prehranski škandali), podnebne spremembe in vse večje zavedanje prebivalcev EU o pomenu kakovostne in varne hrane za zdravje ter zavedanje o številnih okoljskih problemih povezanih s kmetijstvom, so razlogi za spremembe prehranskih politik v okviru novega Zelenega dogovora« EU in strategije EU za prehrano in kmetijstvo »From Farm to Fork« ter za biotsko raznovrstnost do leta 2030. Med cilji do 2030 najdemo tudi zmanjšanje uporabe pesticidov za 50 %, mineralnih gnojil za 20 %, zmanjšanje porabe antibiotikov v reji živali in povečanje obsega ekološke pridelave na najmanj 25 % kmetijskih obdelovalnih površin v EU.
